I went in with photos of what I thought i wanted, and she took the time to examine my hair, curl pattern, face shape, etc... and gave me a cut that incorporated all the pictures and exactly what I wanted. What an experience getting my haircut by Maybo at CrossFaded. I can't recommend this barbershop enough. From start to finish Maybo's attention to detail was easily noticeable. I can't remember the last time a barber used a straightedge on my beard. She went whisker by whisker, it felt like. What attention to detail! Hands down Lindsay is one of my favorite spray tan artists that I trust to tan me. It looks so natural everytime with her technique and she can get me super dark without ever being orange (and I am super white!). Her space is so beautiful and clean. He is very thorough and gentle, he checks in multiple times to make sure I like the length, shape, polish color. The salon is clean and affordable.

The gel manicure service at Polo Nails is really impressive-the paint is even in color, lasting for more than three weeks, helping me confidently show off my nails despite my busy work schedule every day.
I am not sure why this place has so few reviews. It is a hidden gem. It is clean and well maintained with plenty of parking in an adjacent lot. I came here for a gel manicure. Rose did a great job. She helped me pick a color that was compatible with the rules I have to follow for work. The mani lasted long after the polish started to grow out. They do their manis in the pedicure chairs so it was extra relaxing. I really needed a back massage.
They also have full salon services by appointment. I love my hair cut. Vann listened to what I wanted to did a great job with my hair. I have long hair and coarse hair. He did a great job preserving the length while adding in layers and framing my face. I will 100% come back to his location for nail and hair services.

I’ve been getting my brows done by Christian since last year, and he gives the best most face softening results. I have very full dark brows and only ever threaded them. I was looking for something more soft and polished though, I didn’t want the angular edges and arches. Christian showed me that was possible with my thick brows. He did what I wanted and not just a standard brow clean up, and it transformed my brows. I trust him a lot because how much attention and practice he put into his work before he ever started with clients, and despite having so much experience and clients now, he gives the most attention and care to your eyebrows, he checks in with you before doing anything, measures your brows, draws everything out, gives you options and really loves his work because he will never rush things or lose patience after asking many questions. He knows brows are one of the most important features on your face, and respects all your question. He is also extremely hygienic in his studio. Nothing is overlooked. I am so thankful I found him!

After receiving a lash lift elsewhere that left my lashes severely over-curled and literally poking me in the eyes, I was told by the original technician that there was no way to fix them and that I would simply have to wait weeks for them to grow out. Needless to say, I was frustrated and worried, especially with a big event coming up.
Thankfully, Katie responded to a post I made asking for help. She got me in quickly, charged an incredibly reasonable price for the fix, and within minutes was able to identify exactly what had been done incorrectly and explain the proper way to correct it. Not only was the fix possible, it turned out to be a relatively simple process in the hands of someone who truly knows what they're doing.
What impressed me most wasn't just the result (which was fantastic), but Katie's depth of knowledge, professionalism, and confidence. She clearly understands the science and technique behind lash lifts at a level that goes far beyond what I've experienced elsewhere. She took the time to educate me, answer my questions, and make me feel completely comfortable throughout the process.
The difference between someone who performs a service and someone who has truly mastered their craft became very apparent during my appointment with Katie. My lashes look so much better, my eyes are comfortable again, and I left feeling beautiful and ready for my event tomorrow!

I have been a client of Michele's for several years now. Every appointment, even the more painful Brazilians (more than the usual 5 weeks in between, my fault), is a great experience. I always leave feeling better than the moment when I first walked into the room.
Love that she switched me over to sugaring exclusively; the hype is real. Less ingrown hairs, much smoother overall, thinner hairs, and overall less maintenance in-between waxes.
I recently did the All Things in 90-Minute facial and it was truly heaven sent. Michele knows that I struggle with rosacea and sensitive skin, so she tailored the session just for my needs + I was looking for some extra relaxation time. Perfect. My face was glowing, bright, and less red than usual for ~7 days after the treatment.
Now about the space... The Switch is cool, very clean, and great energy. I love the decor and every bed is comfy. Bonus points for the parking lot available to guests.

Amazing Korean lash lift results! I am pleasantly surprised how much I like the lift, how well it retains and opens my eyes. The lashes look so healthy and naturally curly, despite my naturally straight predisposition. No more lash curler needed, I apply mascara directly on the lash without any prep and it holds perfectly, actually a lot nicer curl than with curler. On many days I don't even wear mascara, because my lashes look so great and they make my eyes pop!

I was hesitant to book a makeup artist that I only had found online, knew little about, I also only had 2 and half weeks to plan, but I’m so glad I went with her! She helped me feel so relaxed and listened to my many preferences without making me feel like I was doing too much! Btw I went full glam! I felt extremely beautiful on my wedding day and I received compliments all night on how well my makeup was done, especially my eye makeup! People were completely blown away with my look! It was beautifully blended and lasted all night even through crying! She even gave me a makeup kit to retouch my makeup if needed but I ended up not needing to retouch at all because it was so beautifully done! Hollie is, hands down, the best. She goes beyond making you feel beautiful, and as a human being just brings so much peace and light with her. I was referred to Hollie by a friend, and I was wowed after my trial. Hollie spends time to ask you specifics about the looks you like so she can get an understanding of what can be difficult to communicate about preferences for hair and makeup. And she's so, so, patient with changes in plans, adding mother in law services last minute, and modifying hair after we realized a full day of rain would not work with my hair down like I wanted.
My hair and makeup survived a rainy downpour and hours of dancing (and the sweat that comes with that!). Beyond the amazing job she did, the process of getting ready with Hollie was fondly memorable because it was such a peaceful time before the inevitable chaos of the actual wedding. I can't thank her enough for being not only a very talented MUA and stylist, but someone who brings so much light to others.

The latest project was a bit more complicated because the first fan I purchased from Lowe’s turned out to be damaged. The motor housing was dented, and it appeared the fan had previously been opened and repackaged. Although I was told at checkout that the box had not been opened, it clearly had been, so I returned it.
I then ordered a replacement fan with a remote from Amazon. When I asked Justin which manufacturers he recommended, he suggested Kichler along with a few other quality brands. Justin installed the fan, set up the remote, and made sure everything worked beautifully. I now have a wonderful new fan in my family room.
I am extremely satisfied with Always Quality Electrical and with Justin’s workmanship. He is reliable, skilled, thoughtful, and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend him and will definitely call him again for any future electrical work.

We recently needed a major repair to our Subzero freezer. Since we were pleased with a previous service of Big Joe Appliance Repair we called upon them again. Max promptly came out to diagnose the problem and in a few days when the part came in, he and James fixed our freezer. We found that the whole process went very smoothly and the communication was easy. They always answered their phone and texted us to keep us informed.
We recommend them and will call them again if we ever have the need.

He was extremely knowledgeable and helped diagnose the broken parts within minutes. My GE washer of 4 years was making a loud scraping noise during the wash cycle so I called a different company who came out yesterday and told me to replace it then tried to sell me a Whirlpool from the 1970s for $400. I upgraded my kitchen appliances last year. I just purchased a new washer dryer all from Appliance Alley. They know what they are talking about and they are serious about providing excellent customer service. The prices were the same as Lowes and Home Depot but the personal attention and quality of the installers was much higher than I experienced with the big box retailers in the past. I will never go anywhere else for appliances. These guys are top quality!
I’ve used this shop 4 or 5 times and it’s been great each time. The gentleman behind the counter was able to rattle off the exact make and model of the washer I was working on as soon as I walked in the door holding my broken drain pump. They know their stuff and the place had a great “mom and pop” feel.
We’ve used Big City hvac service twice now: once for an air conditioner installation and once for a furnace maintenance tune-up. Both times, they were on time, friendly, and left everything spotless. I trust them completely to keep our Torrey Highlands home’s climate perfect all year long.
I have been working with Eli and James for years. I have two properties in San Diego and they have serviced both over the past 5 years. This time, I had a washer that had a clutch problem. I called James on a Friday and he answered and said he can fix it Monday morning. He gave me a price for parts and labor that was very fair for market standards. I made a deal with James and told him that I would pull the washer out of the laundry room so he could have more space to get to the bottom of the washer. I also agreed to reinstall the washer and dryer back in the laundry room. James replaced the clutch with his patience, precision and experience. The part of this job that impressed me the most, James not only fixed my washer, but he also replaced the hoses and reinstalled both appliances back to the laundry room. He saved me an hour or more of my time and didn’t charge me anymore than his original quote. I would encourage anyone looking to have their appliances repaired or replaced to give this business the opportunity to work with you. I’m sure you will be very pleased with the outcome.

We called him to deep clean five sofa cushions due to a milk spill. Later that day, I called him to come back and clean the entire sofa solely because he's hassle-free, professional, quick and they smelled so clean!
He's fair on his pricing. For a full sofa deep clean the total came out to $220. The cushions and sofa covers were power washed.
I wasn't watching the clock. He took less than an hour each appointment.

Spilled a whole lot of coffee on our expensive rug… tried to clean on our own with a bissel vacuum but didn’t work. Called up Caspers Cleaners and talked them about the mishap. They were professional, friendly, and honest.
They removed the stain remarkably well and you really can’t tell there was a coffee spill! They went out of the way and worked with our schedules to pick up and drop off the rug (even on weekends). We also left on a trip in the middle and they graciously held on to our rug for over two weeks and kept it safe and wrapped up.
Honestly recommend their services, super friendly and effective and reasonably priced! Hopefully we won’t need their services again but they will be the first to call if another spill happens.

We have several old Persian rugs and a few Pakistani rugs that my husband brought back many years ago form his military days. We live on them and have always trusted Blatchfords to take the very best care of them. The last time we took one in for cleaning they found moth damage which we would never have known about without their careful observation. We so appreciate their level of care and expertise.
Rafael was fantastic he went an extra mile+. I thought the area that our cat urinated was much smaller but he found more spots where it not only urinated but also vomited and he got those too. Not only that he lifted the carpeting and got the carpet padding and backing of the carpet, then stretched and retacked the carpet like he never even did it. I will never use another carpet cleaner again, on top of that he’s a great guy, explained everything throughout the process. And on top of it all out of 11 companies i called his quote was the cheapest and none of them offered the lifting of the carpeting and getting under it, instead they said I could have a carpet guy come do that. They had exactly the type of engineered wood that we wanted in their showroom and the estimate for costs and time to install were reasonably accurate. They were able to schedule installation during 3 weeks that worked for us and despite unexpected difficulties removing the old wood floor, we could move back in on time. Communication was great, Steve kept us informed about progress in between. Craftmanship was excellent, there are no holes or cracks or crooked corners, the floor looks just perfect. We are very happy.

We are very pleased with the way our hardwood floors have turned out. Classic Hardwood Floors lightly sanded the floors back to their natural color from the dark oak stain that was there before. Then they varnished to keep the natural oak look. They were able to remove the existing scratches and indents to make the floor look like new. The outcome was way belong our expectations.
From the start the response was completely different with D’Sapone. All the other estimates said the same thing “we’ll regrout and reseal” or worse “this whole thing needs to be pulled up and redone”.D’Sapone diagnosed the issue on a much deeper level and offered a solution that would avoid a costly retiling and maintain better tile overall.Chris was the contractor brought out. He was very thorough and explained every detail of the process so I was not left feeling like I didn’t know what was going on. Second time I have had work done by this company. 10 years after the first job and after my new siding company damaged some of my gutters, they cleaned out leaves, realigned, and repaired my gutters. Fast response to getting the bid, 2 weeks to get the bid done, and I had to remind them to send the final bill, but I am happy with the work and friendly staff.
Our kitchen update we got is beyond what we dreamed possible on our budget. Golden crew maximized every inch of space while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere with the new quartz counters and soft-close drawers. We just finished our bathroom remodel and honestly, it feels like we’re walking into a luxury hotel every time we step inside. The marble, gold accents, and Kohler fixtures are absolutely gorgeous and give the space such an elevated, timeless feel.
Eddie was our foreman and was extremely attentive and pleasant to work with. Same goes for the entire crew who worked so hard, showing up on time Monday through Saturday, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished result. They will never move onto the next step before consulting with me on placement and how I liked it. I was extremely happy that I did not need to micro-manage since I know that I am very particular and attentive to design and details. You can tell they take pride in their work. Every little corner and finish was done so carefully.
Dor (project manager) and Avi (owner) were also AMAZING to work with. From the start, Dor never pressured us into signing any contracts right away, adding things that didn’t make sense, nor did he ever make us feel like we were wasting his time. Prior to getting a quote from Lusso, another company gave a whole spiel about them losing money every time they went out to quote a potential client. Then they said that if they left our house without us signing a contract then we wouldn’t get any discount. Not only did it make us feel really uncomfortable and horrible but their prices were ridiculous compared to Lusso. No matter what time of day it was, Dor & Avi responded right away. They are great communicators and made the whole process smooth and stress-free, always checking in without ever pressuring us into anything. We felt comfortable the entire way through, and that meant so much.
The only regret that I had was not doing this sooner since I’m pregnant in my 3rd trimester. We’re beyond happy that they finished so quick with 2 months to spare before our baby comes so that we can truly enjoy our dual shower. We love how everything turned out and so grateful to the whole team for making our dream bathroom come true. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for quality, honesty, and a truly beautiful result!

For our bathroom project, we needed an older Jacuzzi tub/shower replaced with a big walk-in shower, to match the existing counters, flooring and cabinetry which had been remodeled a couple of years prior. Not only was all of the wall design beautifully tiled, he fashioned special shelving, niches, and a bench, using wonderful craftmanship. In addition, the project was especially well-managed by Mike Moore, who was there every single day ensuring progress and coordination among the various subs. He was tireless and accommodating for the entire span of the construction, never losing his patience and good humor, as well as providing fine-tuning in several cases for finish carpentry, electrical oversight, and --especially--keeping the existing cabinetry, etc., as well as the rest of our house free of dust. Kudos to both of these men, and thank you, MBK!

Well I just had an amazing experience with Mission Pest Control, I've been a customer for 4 years. They do a really good and thorough job, they message me the week of service and then the day before service, so I can prepare for when they come, really love that about them with their communication, but the reason for this review is, my monthly expenses were getting a little tight, so customer service sent me over to the account manager, who was extremely nice, and really wanted to help me out with my situation, after a little back and forth, they were able to find ways to get me a discount, without lowering their service standards, and also found alternative payment methods to get another discount. This is the kind of customer service that you always hope for, even if they weren't able to find ways to get my bill down, I just really appreciated the thoroughness and hard work. If you want a pest control company that does a really good job and really cares about their customers, Mission Pest Control is the rest.

It was the year 2010. It was time. Time to get rid of the lawn and embrace a drought-tolerant front yard with indigenous plants. And it would be cool to have a "blue" theme to go with our new roof. If you’re looking for a dentist your search is over. I came in after 10 years of not doing any sort of dental anything. I was so nervous when I went in and felt ashamed I hadn’t been in so long. These guys made me feel like I was home. They were so incredibly sweet and positive about the plan to get my smile healthy. I had literally 10 cavities and was absolutely horrified to know how bad it got. But Dr Amin took care of everything with the love and compassion of a friend or family member. He promised we would get my mother sorted and today we finished my 10th filing. God bless these folks and this place, I cannot say enough good things about them.
Dr. Josh is amazing! Very compassionate to our now three year old daughter!! I could not recommend Kidz place dentistry enough. We had been to two other dentists before finding Kidz Place dentistry… they were close to a nightmare. Dr Josh has gone above and beyond helping my whole family especially with my husband’s military schedule and our low income. I can definitely see he tries to make my daughter’s visits as calm and comforting as possible. She is not the easier child to deal with during these visits. If you have a furry member of the family, THIS IS YOUR VET. For my first visit, my appointment was at 3pm. The check in process was one simple sheet and took LESS THAN 5 minutes. My cat (Maui) was checked by the nurse at 3:05 and the doctor was in the exam room by 3:10. The exam was thorough and complete. Maui was taken back for a full panel blood work and was prescribed antibiotics for a mouth infection in 15 minutes. Maui and I were out the door with his prescriptions IN HAND at 3:40. The exam rooms are very clean, the treats are plentiful, and most importantly the staff is caring, thorough and time efficient. Save yourself the frustration and long waits many other vets make you deal with and just come here.
Has been my go to vet for a while now and they deserve the rating from me. Dr Diamond cracked a case on my dog 6 other big vets in San diego couldn't (almost 8k wasted), and after that I knew these folks were the one. From there on its been nothing but amazing, they have a very special staff team. Like, everyone remembers the pets, know how to work with each and every one differently, like my aggressive and very protective 120lb GSD. AND YET THEY LOVE TO SEE HIM!!! But yeah, if youre looking for a vet, one time visit or long term these are the folks you want. Military friendly and can work around multiple types of difficult situations too.
Our pets are our world, and finding a veterinarian you truly trust is so hard. Dr. Fransioli is absolutely amazing. We have two cats, Roy Kent and POTUS Bader Ginsburg, and a dog named Abbey, and they absolutely ADORE Dr. Fransioli! She always remembers the little details about them, which makes us trust her care completely.
The entire experience at Rancho San Carlos Vet is top-notch — communication is excellent, scheduling is easy, the online portal is convenient for appointments and prescription food, and we love the text and call reminders. Dr. Berk is the best Veterinarian! He's taken care of my Maltipoo for 8 years now. He saved her life from day 1 that I got her & just recently successfully surgically removed what turned out to be a benign mass in her mouth. The most important quality in Dr. Berk is not only is he very knowledgeable & helpful, but he is truly caring & loves the animals he takes great care of, along with his great staff. We love Jamie and Karla! I’ve been looking for a groomer for my two doodles that’s closer to me and has reasonable prices. As doodles owners may know - some salons are sometimes not the friendliest towards doodles, but Karla and Jamie are professional, understanding and AWESOME at what they do.
They create a comfortable environment for the girls and are always so sweet. I usually give them a full groom every 3 months ( we’re not afraid to go short because we’re active girls) they do an incredible job and the grow out is sooo cute!
I’ve been taking Leo to Dandee Dog Grooming, and I couldn't be happier. The owner, Haemi, is so patient and thorough. I trust her completely with Leo because she’s always so careful and treats him like her own. Highly recommended for any dog owner!

This was our first time coming here and wow! She was great with Charlie! Free blueberry facials,amazing prices and she's quick but it's also quality grooming. My dog gets excited every time we arrive, which says everything about the positive experience she has there. I love knowing she’s spending her day in a safe, clean, and fun environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and socialization. The staff always keeps me updated and treats my dog as if she were their own.
I usually groom my cat at home because she hates unfamiliar places, but her fur became too matted for me to manage safely. The staff handled her very gently and didn’t make me feel guilty about waiting too long to book professional grooming. They removed the mats without shaving huge bald sections, which honestly surprised me. She was definitely annoyed afterward, but much calmer than expected. By the next morning she already seemed more comfortable moving around the house again.

Went to a class last night in OB taught by Marina W., and couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Definitely got pretty hot and tired during the class, but her flow was very balanced in intensity and felt natural. She also offered adjustments to those that don’t mind them and was very sweet while keeping everyone motivated! The class was 7-8pm and after doing solid movement and sweating it out, I had the best sleep afterwards! Now I want to go to her Sunday morning class and definitely recommending to a friend!

The infrared sauna was an absolute treat - having a private session is a step up - there was complete privacy, a shower offered afterwards, and extremely nice staff who made me feel comfortable ahead of the 30 minute sauna session. I have also received massage treatments here before which are also 10/10. Would recommend!
Sojourn is easily my favorite yoga studio. The instructors are kind, good at what they do, and the variety of offerings is great. The community aspect of the space is unmatched - you can tell how much the people here love to stay connected & over the two plus years I've been a member, I've felt supported and welcomed.
About six months after moving to San Diego, an acquaintance suggested I try Honey Yoga for exercise and to meet people. I attended a restore class. Michaela was my first instructor and I loved her calm, non judgmental energy . I looked around the class and saw a diversity in races, age, and body type. It was the first time I’d been to a yoga studio and didn’t self conscious about my body or my ability to do poses. After signing up for the 3-week special I tried a variety of classes. It’s been over year now, and while I’ve tried almost even course they offer, I’ve found my favorites (restore with Michaela, slow flow with Jordi, and high-lo with Kaia) all of the classes have been lovely. Jen’s sound bath class is a must-do-experience. Her voice is beautiful! The staff, led by Ashley (who has the best pose movement count down voice) are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I’ve settled into my routine and love the monthly challenges. I am so happy to have a home away from home.
Morgan M is excellent for flow—her sequencing is well-structured, and her personality is genuinely kind and welcoming. She makes an effort to include everyone, which creates a really positive class environment. She also takes time to connect with students.
Simpson’s restore classes are unique in a good way. He gets you warmed up first, then has you hold poses for longer periods, which helps you really settle in. He also takes time after class to talk, and overall has a very chill, approachable vibe.
Nicole is my favorite instructor, along with Annie Louie and Sabrina. Her restore classes are especially strong—very yin-focused, with longer holds that allow for deeper relaxation. She is also very polite and takes time to connect after class, which I really appreciate.
Lacee also has a strong flow style, and overall these instructors have created welcoming and inclusive class environments in my experience.
On the other hand, my experience with Ella P was not as positive. Based on what I personally observed, she did not come across as very welcoming, and at times her tone toward me felt unnecessarily strong and uncomfortable. She also did not seem as open to interacting with students compared to other instructors.
This studio is truly amazing. The offerings are so varied; from gentle yoga to more challenging classes, wall yoga, ballet, sound baths, and so much more. And let’s not even talk about the community. The Yoga Haven family is exactly that: a family. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, from the owners to the other students. This place truly has a piece of my heart. 🤍
This was a lovely studio. My sister and I were in the area on vacation and found the slow flow class. We were so happy we were able to take this class. It was perfect. The teacher did a great job of giving guidance and instruction and the pace was steady without being rushed. I love soundbath so having that to finish up was really nice. I was very impressed.
Went in as a guest of a friend while I was in town. Perfect class. Loved the teacher, the vibe, and how welcoming the class was. Very friendly to yogis of all abilities. Go in once and you will be hooked.
I attended prenatal yoga through both of my pregnancies at Yoga Jai Ma and highly recommend it! Both Marites and Shelley are great instructors. Shelley really went the extra mile to build a community of birth warriors, and Marites also has Mommy & Me yoga so you can continue after birth. I can honestly say that while I didn't necessarily enjoy being pregnant, I loved prenatal yoga and look back fondly on my time in class. It was always the most peaceful and powerful time spent each week, and made me confident and empowered for birth. 1000% recommend to any and all expecting moms!
I've been to so many yoga studios all over San Diego but it wasn't until I found Yoga Arts that I felt like I had finally found my yoga studio. Every single instructor is not only warm and caring but also excellent at what they do. Most studios i've been to in San DIego always felt impersonal and more fitness type yoga but yoga arts feels like the yoga I fell in love with. I've yet to attend a class where the teacher didn't pay close attention to my specific body needs, remember my name and made me feel truly seen. I think what makes it so special is its focus on Iyengar based teaching. I love how we break down each pose and place close attention to alignment and precision. If you are looking for a studio that will deepen your yoga practice and give you community, this is it!

I'm very active new to pilates. Powerhouse is clean, organized, and a good price range. I am so happy to have found both studios! I travel for work so the option to do class packs is crucial for me. Other places are outrageous and insist on monthly memberships. Extra plus is both locations are fairly close to home. Instructors are great at cueing and there's a nice vibe amongst participants.
Roshni is an amazing Pilates instructor with exceptional technique and a deep understanding of the body. Her sessions are always well-structured, challenging in the best way, and tailored to what your body truly needs. I noticed real improvements in my strength, posture, and overall body awareness while working with her. She also adds thoughtful recovery elements — like Chinese traditional massage Gua Sha for muscle relaxation — which makes the sessions feel both effective and restorative!??♀️

I came to Avanti Pilates almost a year ago. I was an active person prior, but I pinched a nerve and have been out of commission. I had to rebuild my strength. Daniella has been amazing at helping me get back to my abilities. She's patient, encouraging and hyper aware of my body position while I do the exercises. I'm completely comfortable that I'm in good hands and won't hurt myself as I learn Pilates. And I've been able to gain my muscle back. All the while, she's compassionate, friendly, and encouraging. I've taken private pilates lessons with Jessica for nearly a year while rehabbing from sciatica and back surgery. She is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable about pilates, she adjusts positions for my particular problems, finds ways to push me, celebrates my progress, and cares about me as a whole. She even got me to start swimming, which really aided my recovery. Finally, Jessica is very funny AND a really kind person. It's easy to develop trust and rapport with her, which I think is important for anyone learning and growing in pilates. And did I mention her rates are ridiculously low for private pilates?? Yes, you need to try her!
My intro to pilates was at this club and it was the best thing I could have done for my wellness. I am stronger, more flexible, more confident, and have combined it with strength training, and cardio seeing results I was not able to obtain in 15+ years. I’ve been a client of Secil’s for over 8 years, doing an hour session in her studio every week. I started doing Pilates 17 years ago. She’s not only a superb trainer, she is a healer. She’s healed a rotator cuff injury I’d had since my late teens from a water skiing accident. A year of directed exercises completely healed the injury, allowing me full range of motion I hadn’t had for over 60 years. Two years later, a wrong move dancing gave me a very painful knee injury. An orthopedic surgeon recommended arthroscopy to remove bone chips from under the patella. I asked him if it would completely cure the problem and he said, “No, when I take something out of one side of the knee, the other side will be bad in a year.” I cancelled the surgery and had Secil start working on it. Directed exercises once again had it healed completely in a year. I’ll be frank, geriatric Pilates, her specialty, takes hard work, but it changed my life for the better. She’s a master, and a wonderful person as well.
I’ve been a Pilates enthusiast for over 10 years and have been bless with many good instructors. Recently Tonia substituted at my studio and I have to say she is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. The class flow was perfect and her knowledge of the correct form for the exercises was great. I find myself searching the schedule to find her name so I can take another class with her. Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing place to learn Pilates. The instructors are extremely experienced, knowledgeable, attentive, and very welcoming towards new students. The space is peaceful and clean. Our posture and strength has visibly increased after just a couple months.We are so glad that we gave this place a try before giving up on Pilates thinking it's not something for us (based on our experience elsewhere).

Instructors and most front desk staff are AMAZING!!!! Unfortunately, the general manager Shelby is awful to work with. I submitted my cancellation request as I moved, she confirmed it was canceled and didn’t explicitly tell me I needed to fill out a form; then proceeded to not cancel my membership and charge me another month, refusing to refund me. CA law makes it so you are able to cancel 1 day prior to billing, regardless of what a company’s cancelation policy is.
Annie is our absolute favorite! We have worked with her for a number of years and we would follow her anywhere. We really enjoy Dana also - she is very good at explaining the moves and she’s lovely. Thank you for your help and dedication to our health!

Wow what an absolute gem of a place. I am very particular about massage, especially sports and deep tissue, and Tao is amazing. He knows and understands the body. It’s like no other massage I’ve gotten. It’s sports, it’s relaxing, it’s maybe a little stretching, maybe some warm stones, etc. What’s really neat about his craft is he kind of works on what needs to be worked on. If he’s working on one area and it needs more work he’ll intuitively work on that. It may be something you didn’t think you needed but when he’s done, it’s perfect. Definitely recommend Tao.
You have to go see Lauren. I’m pregnant and have SI/hip/low back pain for over a year. I was worried finding someone who could help with the pain while pregnant, but Lauren is an absolute pro. Her knowledge of the body is incredible and her love for her job is palpable. You can literally feel her care and expertise in her technique. Not your run of the mill body worker… she can even do pelvic floor work. Go see her. She is 100% worth it.
Brant really knows his stuff. I told him about the issues I was experiencing with my body and he came up with a plan, explained it thoroughly, and then gave me the best therapeutic massage I have ever had. He is a healer for sure. Highly recommend.

Hands of an angel! I had been experiencing excruciating pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back for a couple weeks before coming for a massage. Zaida was very intuitive and focused on my main pain points with such intention and compassion. 1.5 hours went by super quick and I feel much better now. I highly recommend to anyone with pain and/or wanting to increase your overall wellbeing. Plenty of parking, clean facility, easy to schedule, reasonably priced.
Not only did Ciarán heal the initial issue I got recommended to him for, he then upleveled my understanding of what was going on and how things worked and introduced me to a whole new way of taking better care of myself. The initial intensity of repairing the overuse toll from running too much evolved to maintenance and learning each time I had a visit. I started my physical therapy at Proactive after a recent skiing accident and ACL/double meniscus surgery. I was so terrified, since this was my first sports injury but the team at ProActive Carmel Valley took me in and were the warmest to me. They helped me on my journey, and now 7 weeks post op I am fully able to do almost everything I was able to do pre injury. My physical therapist Kim made sure I was progressing through my injury at a good pace, and always offered words of encouragement even after I stopped my PT. When you come your only regret will be not coming sooner!I was referred to Rejuvenation Bodywork by a friend who has gone to Clark in the past. I had an issue with my hip and back due to an old accident that was coming back to haunt me. I could barely walk. He watched me walk and within 10 seconds he pretty much figured out the problem and knew what to do. After my first session I saw almost immediate pain relief and could walk better after a day. I have tried Chiropractors, Massage, Physical therapists and nothing has worked even close to as well as Clark's bodywork.While he is more expensive than a Swedish or deep tissue massage, I assure you it is worth the extra money. This is not a standard PT or massage. It's very apparent that Clark really enjoys his work and cares about his patients' best interest and wants you to be successful in your treatments. I cannot thank or recommend Clark @ Rejuvenation enough!Side note: the location is easy to find and has plenty of free parking.
Our experience at ES3 has been outstanding. Christin has been an incredible physical therapist for my teenage son and daughter. She is extremely knowledgeable and has become someone they trust. Christin has a natural ability to build strong rapport and connection with her patients, and she’s especially great with teen athletes. Christin doesn’t just guide them through exercises—she educates them about their bodies, their muscles, and how everything works together. Those are lessons that will benefit them for years to come.

After getting a membership I also started using the sauna and seeing Kiana for massages and they have also been such an amazing addition to my self-care routine. I feel healthier, more balanced and energized thanks to this amazingly supportive place. Dr. Cassie is also super friendly and really makes it a point to make sure the space feels welcoming, calm, safe and well-run. And shout out to Toya at the front desk who keeps everything running smoothly and is always a joy to talk and laugh with.
I have had endometriosis for my entire adult life. I am 47yo and for the most part had been able to manage my symptoms on my own with a couple of surgeries in my 30’s. Last year I started experiencing more severe symptoms (severe back and pelvic pain, swelling of face, and hives to name a few) and decided I could no longer manage this on my own. I reached out to my PCP and after several scans and lab tests we weren’t really any closer to figuring out what was going on. I suspected the endo and decided to search for endo specialists near me and Natural Harmony Reproductive Health came up. I was concerned that their focus was going to be fertility but happy to find that was not the case and they were eager to get me a consult and some relief. I had my initial consult with Dr. Ramona Deonauth and immediately knew I made a good choice. She jumped right in and asked me every question I have been hoping someone would ask. Everything that I mentioned was considered and made sense to her. She got right back to me with a protocol to begin and booked our first acupuncture session. It has been 4 months since we started and I feel like myself again. It has been such an empowering and validating process. I have been treated by each of the practitioners and they are all amazing knowledgeable women. Establishing this relationship feels like finding community after navigating this alone for long. I am forever grateful.

This is my 2nd favorite place to be next to Disneyland!! I can't express how wonderful this staff is! I love my wellness therapist Jenna! She is amazing, magical, and phenomenal wrapped in one being! I found Calm under the duress of my former therapist leaving my former wellness center after 15yrs. I was anxious when I first came to Calm, but those nerves dissipated as soon as I met with my first therapist Dr Ciara. She was also wonderful but I felt Jenna was more tailored to my needs. Absolutely exceptional! I walk out of every session feeling like I’m floating. Ryan has an incredible understanding of the body and has made a huge difference in my sports related injuries along with helping me regain balance during my pregnancy. Cannot recommend enough!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Cho for about a month now for post surgical shoulder pain, back pain , and headaches . Her techniques with cupping and acupuncture are phenomenal . Additionally the front desk staff are always prompt, kind and caring . Very grateful to have stumbled upon this practice !
Christina Bird provides fantastic service. She is incredibly knowledgeable and her sessions create measurable relief. I started going to Christina when I had neck pain and I was amazed at how I noticed specific change immediately. I now see her for nerve compression and she has helped create gradual symptom relief. Christina is a compassionate soul who is wonderful to know and she provides a beautiful, relaxing experience. I highly recommend her!

Overall acupuncture was not for me. However, Fawsi and Rosita are extremely caring people and on top of that, very intelligent with what they do. When I found out acupuncture wasn’t helping my specific case, (genetic spine disorder, so I knew it was a long shot) they had no issue returning the money for sessions I was not going to use.
Very low pressure, very clean, very friendly.
Highly recommend for those in pain.
Wonderful acupuncture experience! I was in town and saw their sign, and decided to check it out. I had had acupuncture before, but their website was also super helpful and answered many questions ahead of time. When I walked in, the lobby had a chair and they immediately welcomed me and handed me forms to understand more why I was coming in. They explained it's a community acupuncture room - the lights are dimmed, and multiple people are receiving their treatment fully clothed in the same room. They make sure everyone's cell phones are off and the room was so peaceful, I wasn't disturbed by anyone else being there at all. I had the choice of a chair or bed, and the bed was so comfortable I fell asleep. They tell you that you can relax and take as much time as you need. I came in with a bad headache and by the time I left, it was gone. I also had the gua sha treatment, which was new to me. They use a hard tool to loosen the muscles in my shoulders and back of my neck. It was definitely intense, but it's the only thing that's ever relieved the tension in my shoulders / trapezius. I had deep red marks afterward that didn't hurt (they weren't a bruise) which they said was totally normal, and they went away within a couple days. If you've ever had cupping, these marks weren't as purple as I'd had from cupping and they went away sooner. They also have a sliding scale based on your income to make it affordable for more people to get treatment. This truly was a wonderful and helpful experience start to finish, and I will absolutely go back the next time I'm in town.

Lenard is a kind and patient instructor who taught me how to drive in just a few days. Thanks to his guidance, I passed my behind-the-wheel test on the first try and now feel confident behind the wheel. His encouraging attitude made a big difference. He’s truly an excellent instructor.
They are the only school south of LA to accept the GI Bill that I found. The staff is knowledgeable and makes sure the students are prepared for both the written and driving tests at the DMV. Rather than sending you to the DMV with the bare minimum of hours, they will continue training you and only send you when they believe you’re ready. Instead of single drive axle day cab trucks, the train students in trucks with tandem drive axles and sleeper cabs and 48’ trailers to better prepare students for work as a truck driver. They also give students the opportunity to train on manual transmission trucks. The office staff is very helpful, and they have lifetime placement services for graduates.
I took 3 classes with Gilbert to prepare for my license test. He was very patient, understanding, and informative. I always felt comfortable driving with him. He was very easy to make conversation with, so it wouldn't be awkward. We watched 2 short videos focusing on parking that were very helpful. They communicate very well and respond quickly to make appointments. I definitely recommend taking him.
i highly enjoyed my experiences with my driving lessons with tom and solaimon. I was incredibly nervous with driving but they made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and they were incredibly patient with me whenever i made a mistake or had a question and never made me feel dumb for anything. they give realistic expectations that they want you to be held accountable for and they are overall very welcoming people to have driving lessons with. i highly recommend both of them.
I took a motorcycle class with Charlie, and she is truly one of the best instructors I could’ve had. She’s funny, an amazing listener, incredibly patient, and her sarcastic personality made the whole experience even better. (My type of humor)
The class itself was actually really fun and gave plenty of opportunities to build skills and knowledge for staying safe on the road and preparing to get your M1 license (after obtaining your permit, which I already have).
Before taking the class, I had been riding a Honda Rebel and thought I wanted a chopper-style bike. But after getting the chance to ride a different bike during the riding portion, I realized my style is actually more of a naked bike. The class really helped me understand what feels right for me on the road.
Sitting in the heat for eight hours wasn’t easy, but Charlie made it completely bearable and honestly enjoyable.
