Warm, knowledgeable in this specialized area (jaw/neck), gentle/mindful of pressure boundaries (even through painful moments), and great at creating a peaceful space. Takes a holistic approach, considering everything from the deep inside corner of my jaw bone to the back and neck muscles that could be triggering/holding the stress. I bought a package after our first session and have been coming weekly since! I’m noticing less clicking in my jaw and am looking forward to continued relief. “My daughter and I came while on vacation. As I searched for a reputable massage, I found Bliss and I’m so glad I did. It is located within a quaint strip mall a block from the beach walking path. I appreciated the clarity of the website with all prices posted so I knew what to expect. Both of our masseuses were experienced and professional. In the past, I have received pushback about a deep tissue massage, but there were no such issues here. I was asked about pressure. I asked for recommendations during the massage and was given them. After the session, Risa was kind enough to even give some tips on stretches in order to keep my body loose especially the lower half with how much walking I do in a day.
