“Let's be honest. Going to the dentist sucks. Typically, I embrace the suck and keep it moving. I'm a wuss when it comes to dental work and I think most of us are. Dr. Amin and his staff at Lighthouse Dental made me feel so comfortable. The Dental Hygienist Susie engaged in great banter and was so friendly that it warmed me up for the procedure. Once I met Dr. Amin I was sold on the place. He is extremely professional, thorough, gentle and pretty damn funny. It helps to have a sense of humor when it comes to the dentist. I look forward to the treatment plan he is going to provide and I feel very safe in his hands. The office was very clean and the entire staff from front to back made me feel like I was hanging with friends. If you're on the fence about a dentist and dental work I would highly suggest Lighthouse dental and Dr. Amin.“

He's gentle, thorough, interested in educating patients on oral health care, and a godsend when it comes to perio charting (the procedure where they measure pockets in your gums). I've had some painful experiences at other offices when it comes to dental hygienists clumsily or roughly doing perio charting, to the point where I've refused the procedure on future visits. With Shapour, he was literally halfway through the process before I even realized that's what he was doing! Incredible. Lastly, I trust Dr. Kim and her staff because my late uncle, Dr. Chester Banaag of Village Hillcrest Dental, hand-selected her to take over his practice when he retired. ♥“
