“Brick paving, buckling with tree roots, was removed from my front yard. Large roots were removed, the paths and side yard were dug, layered, and compacted to support a level surface for new brick. Their work is meticulous, with brick perfectly cut for curves and drain surrounds. The space between bricks is now filled with a sand that hardened when wetted, preventing ants and weeds. The project manager and the crew were attentive to my requests. They moved plants in fragile pots without breaking them. They stacked my old brick where I asked, and added some protection for the side of the house, which I hadn’t thought about. They added a French drain and a short retaining wall the project seemed to need as it developed—no extra cost. They were on time, they were tireless, they were intent all the way through on the work being beautiful. And they were done in less time than I expected. The result: the front entry and garden radiate care and welcome instead of “Watch your step.” The impact is much greater than I expected.“
