I have been taking my dog Mavis here since she was a puppy. I highly recommend socializing, and prefer this safe environment over dog parks. She absolutely loves it here and comes home completely pupped out lol.
The staff is attentive and friendly. They share pictures every couple hours. Drop off and pick-ups are easy and quick.
The grooming is always Top Notch. Even when playing all day, she doesn't come home smelling like dogs.
They also give out FREE food samples from a partnering company.

We have two cats, Roy Kent and POTUS Bader Ginsburg, and a dog named Abbey, and they absolutely ADORE Dr. Fransioli! “Tim is an excellent dog (and owner) trainer. Our 16 week old Weimaraner puppy Clark was quite wild and easily distracted. But he has progressed greatly with all his training, which included several one on one full day training sessions, and very brief and thorough owner training sessions upon each pick up. Tim’s homework assignments have surely paid off, and Clark still continues to improve. We feel Tim’s program is an excellent investment for those who seek the most out of dog ownership. “We had a great experience with Fon’s Canines two-week board and train program for our dogs. One of the trainers, Laurie, kept us updated with pictures, videos, and progress reports, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pups were doing well.
We especially appreciated that the first day focused on fun and bonding with Ricky, the trainer, to help build trust before the official training began. Even though the program was structured, our dogs were treated with great care. One of our dogs has severe hip dysplasia, and the trainers were very mindful of her limitations and adjusted accordingly.
The results have been amazing — our dogs no longer pull, and walks are so much more enjoyable. The trainer also took time to thoroughly explain the techniques to us. We have already used two hours of the four follow-up hour sessions included with the program, with Ricky, in our home, and it was incredibly helpful. We look forward to the remaining sessions.

“These guys are amazing, so much so we drive 20 min to take our dog there for boarding and daycare. Our dog is anxious with people but with them he bolts to say hello to everyone and know that he's in good hands.

We've also done training while boarding and it's made a huge difference with our boy. Can't recommend snug enough.“

“It is very difficult for me to leave our dog when we travel. I have found no better place to trust with the care of our Caliesi than Down to Earth Dogs.

Emily Keaney provides a beautiful yard where our dog gets to romp with a small group of dogs. Caliesi is always excited to be there and comes home tail wagging.

All dogs are screened for vaccinations and for appropriate social behavior.

“Absolutely amazing place! I highly reccomend. My dog, Maddox, is typically very skiddish when it comes to people. Before we adopted him I'm guessing he wasn't very well socialized. Maddox loves the entire staff at canines unleashed.

They come out if they can to pick up your dog, and Maddox runs into daycare. Our typically very clingy dog doesnt even look back! You can't fake that.

Also around the holidays they take photos with your dog in bunny ears for easter or like a reindeer around Christmas. My fiance loves them. We will drop him off just to get a framed photo of Maddox dressed up. She keeps the pictures on a shelf.

There are cameras so if you want to take a look you can see your dog playing with other puppies, following the employees around or drinking from the water. You never have to worry if your dog is OK.

Our dog means the world to us, and Maddox loves canines unleashed. Therefore he will always come back.“

“My dog Daisy is a 2 year old German Shepherd and—until now—was very reactive in cars and on leash. Enough so that, at times, I thought she was too much dog for me.

Gonzalo changed all that. He did an amazing job educating me and giving me the tools to help Daisy get past that behavior.
He breaks things down for you and your dog so that each lesson can be practiced at home. He takes his time—not ever rushing; answering all your questions and giving great training advice. He is funny and deeply cares.

Daisy does not bark in the car anymore and she is not reactive on the leash any longer.

I will always be grateful to Gonzalo. I can enjoy my dog and take my little grandson on a drive with the Big Girl (Daisy). 12 + wonderful years to come.

The communication was clear that they were busy and I did not feel neglected nor did our appointment time run too long. “Pacific Beach Pet Care is the best! They provide individualized care for each dog’s needs. I have used them for two very different dogs. One dog does not get along with other dogs. He had his own area dedicated for dogs with special needs. My other dog loves to play with other dogs although he’s skittish. He is able to socialize with other dogs while feeling safe. I always feel comfortable leaving my dog at Pacific Beach Pet Care, especially since they are AKC certified and can provide dogs with care in a specialized way.“
