“Pacific Beach Pet Care is the best! They provide individualized care for each dog’s needs. I have used them for two very different dogs. One dog does not get along with other dogs. He had his own area dedicated for dogs with special needs. My other dog loves to play with other dogs although he’s skittish. He is able to socialize with other dogs while feeling safe. I always feel comfortable leaving my dog at Pacific Beach Pet Care, especially since they are AKC certified and can provide dogs with care in a specialized way.“

“Professional. It was busy because it was a Saturday. A few emergency last minute add ons. The communication was clear that they were busy and I did not feel neglected nor did our appointment time run too long. We were still in and out within about 45 minutes for a vet tech visit to get vaccinations for my dog. Shelley, Manny, & Dr. Wilcox are friendly, professional, & knowledgeable. Thank you all. “Great flexible training and toolkit for dog owners. Stim/ e collar based training that is faded away in about 3 to 4 weeks for most dogs. Remote collar just becomes a back up safety net for if leash later on. For example hiking yesterday our dog took off after a small deer, called him back and he stopped and flipped around after a collar beep interrupted his chase/prey instinct.“

“We had a great experience with Fon’s Canines two-week board and train program for our dogs. One of the trainers, Laurie, kept us updated with pictures, videos, and progress reports, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pups were doing well.
We especially appreciated that the first day focused on fun and bonding with Ricky, the trainer, to help build trust before the official training began. Even though the program was structured, our dogs were treated with great care. One of our dogs has severe hip dysplasia, and the trainers were very mindful of her limitations and adjusted accordingly.
The results have been amazing — our dogs no longer pull, and walks are so much more enjoyable. The trainer also took time to thoroughly explain the techniques to us. We have already used two hours of the four follow-up hour sessions included with the program, with Ricky, in our home, and it was incredibly helpful. We look forward to the remaining sessions.

“If you want to have the most meaningful relationship with your dog, Gonzalo is the trainer for you! Working with him has been a truly life-changing process for my fiance, me and our dog, Chef.

Chef, our 3 year old lab, has had issues with leash reactivity and anxiety since he was a puppy. Before enlisting Gonzalo’s help, we had seen behaviorists, vets, and multiple dog trainers to try to understand his behavior and why we were unable to even walk around the block without an anxiety episode.

After meeting with Gonzalo, he was able to understand our situation and tailor a training program. While this did require work on our end, the instruction we received from Gonzalo was clear and provided results quickly. Between one on one sessions, Gonzalo also provided group classes, group hikes, and prompt replies to questions and videos on WhatsApp.

Gonzalo has proven to us time and time again that he has a deep understanding of dog behavior and emotions, as well as a passion to improve the bonds between dogs and their owners. Our experiences in the group classes has shown us that Gonzalo does not have a “one size fits all” approach, but rather tailors methods that work best for you and your dog with an emphasis on having clear communication. Whether you have a new puppy or an older dog with a particular issue, you will not be disappointed.

It’s hard to put into words the bond that we now have with Chef. Interacting with him is more than just orders and obedience, it’s clear communication and understanding. “Our pets are our world, and finding a veterinarian you truly trust is so hard. Dr. Fransioli is absolutely amazing. We have two cats, Roy Kent and POTUS Bader Ginsburg, and a dog named Abbey, and they absolutely ADORE Dr. Fransioli! The entire experience at Rancho San Carlos Vet is top-notch — communication is excellent, scheduling is easy, the online portal is convenient for appointments and prescription food, and we love the text and call reminders. “We LOVE dog days. My two 8 year old labs have been going to Dog Days since they were about 2 years old. We started using them as a way to get out all that puppy energy and we have stuck around because of the amazing care they provide. Dog Days is always a safe reliable place for my dogs to spend their time when I am going to be out of town or out of the house for the whole day.
