“I have been coming to Mindy for about a year now. Before her, I was getting regular chemical hair coloring and, after years and years of doing this, my hair and scalp began to react badly. I developed dermatitis on my scalp with hair loss! It was really scary to be loosing so much hair and, to have a scalp condition that continued for months. My hair became dull and dry. I switched to all organic hair products which helped but I knew that I could never go back to chemical coloring again. That was when I found Mindy! It didn’t take her long at all to find the right color for me with her organic hair coloring and to color my gray! I love the Henna hair coloring, it is so conditioning on my hair and has truly helped my hair to become healthy again! I have also been asking Mindy to help me find different hair styles to try. She is so patient and she works hard to help me to get the right cut and style that works for me! I love the way she cuts my hair and her hair coloring expertise is amazing! She knows what she is doing and, if there is a challenge that comes up, she works on it until she can find the proper solution! She has done that for me… and more!! I am so thankful to have found Mindy at Mai Blossom. Because of her, my hair has become full and healthy again!!“

“I am always skeptical about going anywhere to get my hair done. I have very long hair and no matter where I go. They never seem to do it right or the way that I want it. Or they want to chop it halfway off in order to do what I want done. I have to say I am so very happy that I decided to come into the salon today. My daughter already goes here so I thought I would try it myself. My husband said yes go to a professional salon, it doesn’t matter what is going to cost as long as it’s done right. So, I made my appointment and my appointment was with. Ilse T. I cannot say enough about this hairdresser. She made me feel so comfortable the whole time she was cutting my hair. I had told her of my horrible experiences in the last experience I had with someone chopping my hair, so I guess she kept that in mind, and as she was cutting my hair, she was telling me each kind of scissors she was using and what the scissor was for. which I really appreciated. I don’t know what the different scissors are for and the one that she used was actually to help my hair to where it wouldn’t get so tangled when I combed it. I have never been so happy before about my haircut like I was today, she talk to me the whole time she made me feel comfortable. She made me feel like I had been her customer for 10 years. She was the nicest person with such a great smile and attitude that I will continue to go here and she will continue to be my hairdresser. I have already made my next appointment. Thank you again Ilse for making me a very happy woman, and putting a smile on my face again when I look at my hair. I always know when my hair is cut right because it lays so and flows so nice! “I went through 3 different bridal hair trials before I found someone who would work with my curly hair without telling me I had to straighten it the day of my wedding. To this day, I can't imagine anyone else doing my hair on my wedding day. Not only did she painstakingly re-curl each curl on my head (a neat trick to make the curls stand out better in photos), but she created such a lovely and elegant hairstyle that lasted ALL night, was simply gorgeous, and was super comfortable. She also put up with not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR postponed wedding dates due to covid. She was so flexible, which was so helpful because having to reschedule every single vendor 4 times was so chaotic—she even let me keep our original 2020 pricing, and made time to do a few people's hair that we did not plan ahead for the day of the wedding.
