“I just finished up a major remodel on my kitchen and downstairs bathroom. I couldn't be any happier with the care and construction New Life Construction gave me on this project. Pat was my project manager, and he was so nice and caring. When things came up, he really went out of his way to make sure to explain what was happening and keep things on track. I had a slab leak right as the kitchen cabinets were starting to be installed, and luckily Dale (who is one of their Master finisher carpenters with great attention to detail) caught it! His quick assessment saved me thousands of dollars should this have been discovered after the kitchen was complete. I felt very fortunate that he caught it, and yes it delayed my project, but thankfully Pat got me back on track once the plumbing issue was repaired. Ralph who is also a NLC Master Carpenter (great skill and attention to detail also) is one of their specialists who could step in to solve any problems that came along the way. Everyone at this company is polite, give constant, careful attention to cleanup and just plain nice to work with. Jayson, another Project Manager for New Life is also great. He is able to step in when Pat was called to another project. They really know how to effectively schedule and coordinate even though they have other projects at the same time. I also appreciated the great sub-contractors they use for the different phases. They all are professionals at what they are specialized in, and really do it well. ( Many thanks to Charmet Tile, SoCal drywall, Holly Electric, and Forster plumbing) I also want to say that any hold ups on my construction were purely from defects or delays from manufacturers, or unknown issues behind the walls. Since my late husband was in construction for over forty years, I understand a lot about construction so I know that you never know what can happen. The main thing is to be patient, and more importantly is to have a great contractor who will get it done correctly so it won't be an issue down the road. I will eventually be remodeling two other bathrooms, and they will be who I contact when I am ready. I am completely happy with New Life Construction and will definitely recommend them to anyone I know that is considering a remodeling project. Many, many thanks to all of you! In addition to the assessment, he evaluated the situation and offered longer term solutions for the causes of the mold (sprinklers to close to the property, property sloping downwards, etc.). When we started the remediation, Richard came to set things up the first day and his team took over after that. His team (especially JP) is so professional and so easy to communicate with - they kept me informed and answered all my questions.
