“I’ve been coming to this location for years. Steve and Ronnie have quickly become the only two people i’ll let pierce me considering i’ve had complications every where else i’ve went. i love the clean environment and how well everything is explained and how quick and easy the process is. it makes getting pierced so much more comfortable then i could’ve imagined. for reference, i’ve had 12/18 of my piercings done with these two. not including my nose and second lobe being redone after being botched.“
“I highly recommend Church of Steel to anyone that wants to get pierced! I called 4 other shops that were highly recommended, unfortunately my daughter was too young to be pierced at their shops. Church of Steel was my last attempt at calling around and Art was so kind and accommodating. He was flexible with our appointment time, just wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Jay was our piercer, who was just as kind, calm and thorough. Jay is certified/took the necessary course to pierce babies. My daughter was first to be pierced, Jay explained EVERYTHING to us and what to expect. Even played the Bluey theme song to try to comfort her. My best friend and I were next to be pierced. Bestie has a huge fear of needles. Jay was just as calm, comforting and let us chat his ear off. The environment was so clean, sterile, and pretty cool artwork and pictures in the shop. They only accept cash but there’s an ATM in store.“

“I had the best experience here getting my ear lobes pierced! I was very, very nervous because I am quite deathly afraid of needles but everyone here was just so sweet and comforting it made me feel much better. I actually survived much to my surprise ;)This place looked so clean in all the pictures and reviews I looked at which is a huge reason I chose it and I was not disappointed! It was bright and spotless and a very welcoming atmosphere. I don’t imagine working up the courage any time soon to get a tattoo but if I did this would absolutely be the place I would come to!“

“Great vibes! I'm picky about who I let put ink on me. On a recent business trip to SanDiego, I stopped in Mission Beach tattoo and loved the vibe there! Luckily, Josh was available for a walk-in on the spot and I walked out with a great new piece. It's been 3 days and I have zero issues with the tattoo. Zero post burn or scabbing. I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to the area.“

Great work, great attention to detail, and great environment from everyone. All the artists are very friendly and love poking in and admiring the work being done.
