“About six months after moving to San Diego, an acquaintance suggested I try Honey Yoga for exercise and to meet people. I attended a restore class. Michaela was my first instructor and I loved her calm, non judgmental energy . I looked around the class and saw a diversity in races, age, and body type. It was the first time I’d been to a yoga studio and didn’t self conscious about my body or my ability to do poses. After signing up for the 3-week special I tried a variety of classes. It’s been over year now, and while I’ve tried almost even course they offer, I’ve found my favorites (restore with Michaela, slow flow with Jordi, and high-lo with Kaia) all of the classes have been lovely. Jen’s sound bath class is a must-do-experience. Her voice is beautiful! The staff, led by Ashley (who has the best pose movement count down voice) are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I’ve settled into my routine and love the monthly challenges. I am so happy to have a home away from home.”
