Da buggahs hea can cut. I am very particular about my cuts and go to only my barber in Hawaii. But I was in NEED of a cut and wasn’t gonna make it back in time to get cut up by my guy. This place knew who my barber was and all the way in San Diego. Da coconut wireless is mean. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. I’ve been coming to this nail salon for over 8 years now, ever since I moved to the area. I tried a few other places nearby when I first moved here, but nothing compares to the quality I’ve experienced here. Every nail tech I’ve got my acrylics done by does great work! Pedicures are good too, I love treating myself to an upgrade every now and then.
Over the years, I’ve watched them put in so many upgrades and improvements to the salon and it looks amazing, shows owners truly care about clients and the business, honest people. I always leave happy and not feeling like I overpaid ! prices have always been reasonable, their work is never rushed or sloppy.
I honestly don’t know why it’s taken me this long to write a review. This place deserves all the love. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

The depth of history, culture, and knowledge on display instantly set the tone. In that moment, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be, and that this tattoo was going to be something truly special.
I had the privilege of being tattooed by Josh, and honestly, it’s hard to put the experience into words. Before even starting, we spent nearly two hours just talking—about life, my family, and what brought me to want this tattoo. I never explicitly told him every detail or idea I had in mind, yet he listened so deeply and intuitively understood what mattered most.
When he began drawing on my body, I initially thought he was just sketching a basic outline to fit my shape—but I couldn’t have been more wrong. What he created in such a short time was nothing short of extraordinary. When he asked me to take a look, I was genuinely in awe. It was everything I had envisioned—and so much more—even ideas I had shared only with my wife and kids somehow came to life in his design. When I looked in the mirror again, I was honestly overwhelmed—in the best way possible. It was even more powerful and beautiful than I imagined, and it nearly brought me to tears.
Beyond Josh, the entire team at Island Tat made the experience unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, kind, and supportive. Tanner was incredibly friendly, easygoing, and made everything feel comfortable—whether taking photos or just stopping by to chat. Maddie’s work was also amazing to see, and it’s clear the talent in that shop runs deep. The studio itself is spotless, thoughtfully set up, and full of little touches like snacks, TVs, and headphones that make long sessions much more comfortable.

My light-colored, nylon carpet was stained from years of use, having a dog, and recent construction. I was having a hard time finding a company that could come to my second floor walk-up condo because I don’t have parking directly in front, but they had a portable unit they rolled right in and out without fuss. Sergio Pelayo is the consummate professional. He's a handyman like no other. He is meticulous and a perfectionist. He is responsive and reliable. He always shows up when he says he will. He takes great pride in his work. He can do just about any job...painting, drywall, landscaping, fencing, installs ceiling fans, vanities, blinds, some plumbing, some electrical. If there's something he can't do, he most likely will know someone who can. He's reasonably priced and you definitely get what you pay for. He has done extensive work at several of our houses. I highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed.

These guys did not try to hook me on the stupid up-selling / return visit BS that other pest control places do. They quoted me for one visit to spray the outside of my house, they came the same day, did a thorough job, and charged my card after the job was done.

What can I say! I've been seeing Dr Ninberg for about 9 mos now and have never felt better! The Delta staff and Dr Ninberg do so much to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The chiropractic care here consists of regular adjustments, a hydro bed, and electo-pulses applied to lower or upper back and or a roller bad that does wonders. I highly recommend this location for great care and consistency in friendly treatment. I came in with severe lower back and stiff neck pain. I now can sleep through the night and not wake needing to adjust myself to try to get a restful sleep. Do yourself a favor and come in to see Dr Ninberg and staff for outstanding care and treatment!

Time at Noah Thai Massage is one of my favorite parts of visiting San Diego. ( I just had 4 massages in 2 wks, and a friend gets 3/wk when she goes). Noah is very well trained in several treatment modalities, he’s personable and professional. His foot baths and massages at the start of each session are great for setting the mood and leaving worldly troubles at the door. This trip he immediately pegged referred pain that other massage therapists had been treating as an arm problem. He’s great at sensing my range of motion each time, so his massages aren’t painful. This trust allows me to relax into the stretches and get even more benefit from his work. I sometimes schedule a 2hr massage so I can have an hour on the mat (fully clothed, for those who are new to Thai massage) plus another whole hour of cupping and other massage types on the table. He’s known for offering a freshly opened coconut as clients are leaving. Tasty way to replenish electrolytes, and a very nice bonus touch.
