And they're open on Saturdays. This is by far the best dry cleaners I've ever gone to and I would encourage to get sloppy at your next cocktail party so you can see what I mean. “As a mature professional in San Diego I have gotten together with and broken up with so many dry cleaners over the years. I have been with 5th Avenue and Hasan for nearly 20 years. They are honorable (money left in my pocket gets stapled to my order), accurate with their work (never lost a shirt or clothing item), and respectful (they call if they see something out of the ordinary like a missing button and let you know they will replace it or a severe stain that they might have to try some aggressive cleaning agents and want your approval.) The other day I went by to pick up my clothes and Hasan the owner was confronted with a very agitated homeless person while I was at the front desk. The guy asked for a coke on this hot day. Rather than freaking out, or trying to toss this guy out, Hasan went to the back and grabbed a cold water and a couple of bags of sun chips. Just so kind. This is the kind of people they are at 5th Avenue. I have lived downtown, in Point Loma, and now La Jolla. I will always drive downtown and use 5th Avenue. They have earned my loyalty and I wish them nothing but success and will do everything I can to contribute to it.“

“We are a military family and have patronized many businesses in our 30 years moving around. I found the Tierrasanta location when we lived in that community and loved the quality of service. We had moved again as my husband recently retired. I discovered Klassic Kleaners now runs solely out of their Clairemont Mesa store. We have a special event coming up which I purchased two evening gowns for, so I had a back up; however, both ended up having issues with only a week to alter one of them. As I have trust in the service at Klassic Kleaners, I decided to contact them for help instead of another nearby cleaners. I was in San Diego for another appointment and stopped in with my gown Tuesday morning. My event is the same week on Friday evening. The seamstress was in that day and able to make all the needed adjustments to my dress so that I could wear it for our event that same week. Mr. Mahmood also steamed the gown to have it ready for wear when I pick it up.
I know this was a rush job and a bit of an inconvenience for everyone, but they were able to help me out when most places probably wouldn't bother. I am so grateful for their professionalism and compassion with my last minute situation. They will always be our go-to place for any special dry cleaning.“
