About Club Pilates
Club Pilates Bay Park is a boutique Pilates studio that specializes in reformer fusion classes for people of all ages and fitness levels. The studio stays true to Joseph Pilates' original Reformer-based Contrology Method, but with a modern twist, offering group practice and expanded state-of-the-art equipment. Club Pilates provides high-quality, life-changing training at an affordable price. Clients praise the studio's instructors, who are professional, attentive, and genuinely care about their well-being. The instructors, such as Nicole and Shannon, use "touch correction" to guide participants into proper alignment and posture, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding workout. The classes are described as unique, fresh, and create a meditative feeling during the exercises. Customers who have been attending the studio for years express their satisfaction with the welcoming atmosphere and the positive impact it has had on their posture and overall fitness.
Instructors and most front desk staff are AMAZING!!!! Unfortunately, the general manager Shelby is awful to work with. I submitted my cancellation request as I moved, she confirmed it was canceled and didn’t explicitly tell me I needed to fill out a form; then proceeded to not cancel my membership and charge me another month, refusing to refund me. CA law makes it so you are able to cancel 1 day prior to billing, regardless of what a company’s cancelation policy is.
I'm very happy with my first month here at this studio. They have so many classes because they have 2 studios. So far I've taken the Center & Balance and Flow 1 classes with too many instructors to count. The classes are varied between the instructors and that makes the classes interesting. I'm looking forward to leveling up. I wanted to add that I do have health issues and I am able to go at my own pace and ability.
If you take the intro class you really only have time to try the reformer but there are other pieces of equipment they use during classes.
The classes itself are wonderful but speaking for myself...I feel like it's hard to balance the pilates schedule with my own. Still trying to figure it out.
