“We used them as the funeral home that was partnered with the Funeral home we were using in Tijuana and their customer service and everything they did to help ease the process was amazing. Losing someone makes the whole princess so painful, especially as we had to wait to get my uncles body transferred to Tijuana. My uncle passed away in Pasadena, CA, funeral home was reachable at all hours, they say 24/7 and they mean it! From the moment my uncle expired, we reached out to the funeral home as the nurses in the hospital needed the funeral home information and they were easy to communicate with. Funeraria La Paz really goes above and beyond with the whole process. They picked up my uncle from Pasadena, transferred him to San Diego, kept us in the loop of the process at all times. We knew the moment the staff left to retrieve the body from the hospital, the moment it arrived at the funeral home. From there they immediately started the process with the Mexican Consulate to get the permit required to transfer the body to Tijuana. Every call they made, any delays, everything was relayed to us. They were transparent, extremely helpful, reassured us along the way and it kept us at ease. Thank you for all you did, we will never forget how helpful and friendly the staff are.“

“Some of my ladies from church and I gathered to pray for some of the fathers buried here. What a beautiful experience I will forever cherish. As soon as we pulled up, Samantha Betten greeted us with a smile and had a very nice golf cart ready for us to take us around to visit some of our past priests. I'm absolutely amazed by how well kept this cemetery is. Let me explain something really quick. My son is at El Camino Mortuary along with other family members, and they can learn a thing or two from this cemetery. First off, Holy Cross has enough respect to not drive over our loved ones' head stones in their golf carts. They take care of everyone's area equally. From the moment I drove into this beautiful cemetery, I felt the happiness from those laid to rest here. From the maintenance staff to the amazing director who helped us, everyone is beyond amazing. We finished our visit with mass where the father gave a beautiful homily but he said at the end "don't be a unicorn" so that made me sad because im totally a unicorn but no seriously he was amazing, I loved him, I have to go back very soon.“

“My mother passed away the morning after Thanksgiving. This was the first time I ever really lost someone close to me, someone I loved dearly. I was devastated and hurting so badly. No pressure; gave alternatives; very considerate of our feelings, our financial situation, and our family. I was impressed by the organization of the Greenwood’s operations and the way Cedric made every accommodation to make our family comfortable at such a difficult time.It is because of Cedric that everything went as smoothly as possible; from the cremation to memorial service to inurnment. Even months after, he still provided incredible service when I needed last minute permits and specific documents to bring my mother’s ashes back home to the Philippines.
