Our installers, Jorge, Michael and Diego were awesome in performing the demo, putting in the new plumbing and reconstructing our shower into the beautiful shower that it is today. Lindsey was also amazing in her customer service, from answering any and all questions and finding solutions to accommodate our needs. We absolutely would recommend Shugarman's in a heartbeat! And we absolutely love the fact that the company is locally owned and managed by family members. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.“

“We worked with Project Manager Joe Hillel on a non-dwelling “rebuild” of our outdoor shed to go from an 100 year old crumbling, leaking garage with existing plumbing for laundry to a beautiful well-made out building for laundry, tools and stuff and a full bathroom followed by reconstruction/remodel of our only interior bathroom. The “rebuild” is in quotes because we required by the city to rebuild rather than build new. Really though, it is hard to see what remains from the original, and that is a very good thing because it had wood rot, termite damage, etc. Our experience was very good. Joe and the office team worked through San Diego’s very long and tedious permit application process - a process that is not for the impatient or faint of heart!

Once we were able to begin construction, we truly appreciated and were impressed by the communication that happened throughout the process between Joe as the Project Manger and George, the Foreman as well as George and the crew. Everyone was reliable, conscientious, and demonstrated respect for our little part of San Diego, which in our experience is not something all crews and companies do. Additionally, we consistently saw other folks from the main office come through to take pictures and check in on progres, or come by for inspections.

We are very happy with our new out building - we call it “The Out House” - and our interior bathroom and look forward to enjoying them for many, many years to come.

He cares about the work, customer satisfaction, and brings lots of experience to the project. Perhaps most importantly, he is an involved project manager.“

Sam Tidwell and his team from 3 Day kitchen & bath took it down to the studs and concrete exterior. They moved the toilet over a few inches so we could finally fit a larger vanity, added a ton of storage, and even installed a heated towel rack for us. The transformation is stunning. “We just finished our bathroom remodel and honestly, it feels like we’re walking into a luxury hotel every time we step inside. The marble, gold accents, and Kohler fixtures are absolutely gorgeous and give the space such an elevated, timeless feel.
Eddie was our foreman and was extremely attentive and pleasant to work with. Same goes for the entire crew who worked so hard, showing up on time Monday through Saturday, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished result. They will never move onto the next step before consulting with me on placement and how I liked it. I was extremely happy that I did not need to micro-manage since I know that I am very particular and attentive to design and details. You can tell they take pride in their work. Every little corner and finish was done so carefully.
Dor (project manager) and Avi (owner) were also AMAZING to work with. From the start, Dor never pressured us into signing any contracts right away, adding things that didn’t make sense, nor did he ever make us feel like we were wasting his time. Prior to getting a quote from Lusso, another company gave a whole spiel about them losing money every time they went out to quote a potential client. Then they said that if they left our house without us signing a contract then we wouldn’t get any discount. Not only did it make us feel really uncomfortable and horrible but their prices were ridiculous compared to Lusso. No matter what time of day it was, Dor & Avi responded right away. They are great communicators and made the whole process smooth and stress-free, always checking in without ever pressuring us into anything. We felt comfortable the entire way through, and that meant so much.
The only regret that I had was not doing this sooner since I’m pregnant in my 3rd trimester. We’re beyond happy that they finished so quick with 2 months to spare before our baby comes so that we can truly enjoy our dual shower. We love how everything turned out and so grateful to the whole team for making our dream bathroom come true. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for quality, honesty, and a truly beautiful result!“
