New narrative has been the best program. I have ever joined my mental health. Is on track? I may have some slips, but they're always there with a team ready to keep you going. The only reason why it didn't give it a 5 star review. It's because they moved to their new location. The older location was a lot better, at least for me, it felt like a cozy home. The new location just feels like a corporate building giving this sense of a data center. All in all I would recommend new narrative to anyone that was looking for mental health

I usually avoid traditional nail salons due to the noise, smells, and people traffic, but at Mary's there is no rush, no chemical fumes, and you get the whole spa to yourself at time of appointment.
I even convinced my 80 year old (shut in) mom to go and she absolutely loved it! She had not had a mani/pedi in 20 years. Mary was gentle and accommodating, not to mention her nails look Fabulous. In addition to the lovely experience we also left with some great beauty/nutritional products she had for purchase and they are really working, Thanks Mary!

I came in for wedding hair extensions and left with the hair of my dreams! With my very fine, thin hair, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to achieve the updo I had in mind. During my consultation, Kaylee and Nicole recommended k-tips as the best and safest option for my hair density. They even customized the size of each extension to perfectly match my natural hair, preventing any tension or future damage.
The color match is absolutely flawless—you truly can’t tell I have extensions—and the bonds are completely invisible. I’m heading into my wedding and honeymoon feeling so confident, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Kaylee and Nicole for making it happen!

If you need your curls DIALED in then go see Taylor! Needed a fresh cut and new style before an upcoming performance of mine and even went back for a touch up when I knew I wanted to go curly mullet! They are accommodating and so fun to sit and chat with while you’re there. She know what looks good on you and is happy to work with you on what specific style you’re looking for!
I used to go to another lady for my hair extensions and after two weeks of brushing my hair or washing my hair, they would completely come undone. That hairstylist would guilt me and tell me it’s all my fault, I would feel nervous to go in every time I would get my hair done and she would blame me for not properly taking care of my extensions even though I followed every instruction to maintain them perfectly. I ended up booking with Penelope and she took out my hair extensions and redid them completely. I’ve had zero problems with my new ones and have never felt more amazing and confident with my new hair. She is genuinely the most talented hairstylist I’ve ever met. Plus, she has the most beautiful and outgoing personality. I felt like family the first moment I met her and I couldn’t recommend her more enough.
I just got my first cut from Ash. I have had so much trauma my entire life from having curly hair and getting it cut; I can tell you now Ash really healed a great deal! She spent so much time looking at my hair and chatting with me before cutting. My cut is perfect for my natural curly hair routine and I loved it instantly (which honestly never happens)

Coda is a beautiful space, lush with plants, diffused lighting and cozy hardwood floors. I specifically booked with Eva (who specializes in short cuts) to help me fix a bit of a chop job. Consultation was great; we figured things out together based on my hair type, the level of maintenance I was going for, and what we could reasonably achieve based on the current state of affairs. Eva was communicative throughout and just like, fun to chat with in general, and I walked out of there with a super cute bob I’m very happy with!

Nate is the best barber in town, I refuse to get my hair cut from anyone else. I have a weird hair type and head shape and he’s gone above and beyond to get it right. He also helped me go from long hair to short, he’s a great communicator every step of the way and explains what he’s doing while he’s doing it. Phil Jensen did a fantastic job today cutting my hair. Despite it being his 2nd day he handled the job with precision and clearly takes pride in his work. Other shops in the area have seemed to use me to try out new techniques, where as this shop did the job as I wanted, in the exact way I wanted, in a timely and professional manner. Haley is truly the best when it comes to spray tans. I did a test run with her before my wedding day, which I would definitely recommend if you’re newer to spray tans like me. She is so kind, the process was quick and easy, and my tan turned out perfectly! She was also incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions about which products I should and shouldn’t use after my tan. Highly recommend!
I went to Aneesa (not sure how to spell her name!) at Hush for a rapid spray tan before my bachelorette weekend and she KILLED IT. My tan was incredible. I don’t get spray tans often but my friends who do were shocked at how good mine looked and dying to know where I went!! I even went swimming a bit and still had great results, no running color and no streaking. Aneesa was so sweet and knowledgeable and she did an incredible job. Absolutely amazing 10/10 will be back in the future for more when I have other events!!!

The tan life has chosen me and I'm not fighting it. Nomi is incredible at what she does. This is by far the best spray tan I've ever had. The color is so natural, even, and absolutely ZERO orange tones to it. I'm not a thin girl, but I never once felt uncomfortable or judged while standing a$$ naked in her space. She explains the process, the poses you need to do, and takes her time to blend it all in by hand at the end. So grateful that we crossed paths!

I had to get an emergency touch up after realizing my regular hair stylist had not trimmed the back part of my hair properly. The proprietor of beauty box was friendly from the get go even tho I was just some random walk in who didn’t even have the courtesy to call before hand. She helped me fix the problem in a few minutes, charged a very reasonable amount for it and did it all with kindness. I was so appreciative of her I wanted to let everyone know how happy I was. Long overdue review - Harley is amazingggg!!! I had never tried cryo body contouring before reaching out to him and WOW, what a game-changer. Harley took the time to explain how everything works, what to expect, answer all my questions, etc. Ive done it multiple times now and can't shut up about it to all my friends. I've been using Andrea's sister's Dzialo skincare products for about 2 years and they are better than anything else I've tried. My husband even notices a difference. I keep it fairly low maintenance, using 5 core products: Trevi, Convertimini, Mira, Puro, and Solare as a tinted moisturizer with SPF. I like that my skincare routine is simple and quick. Plus, the products feel so good that it's actually a pleasure, rather than a chore, to go through the steps!

Is it common for a waxer to send you home without calming oil or gel or anything?? Just got sent out with wax still all over my skin…. So now I will go use olive oil at home because that’s what I have?? I am confused… I tried this for the first time. Went in for a quick wax. nice, very cute spot. I always tip 20 percent even on bad service. is this common practice?? Someone tell me? I never thought I’d get a professional wax with absolutely zero after care. Isn’t there a worry for infection with open pores with wax still on it? Okay i’m rambling. just tell me if this is how my experience was supposed to go

My first wax ever, and I’m pushing 50! Morgan was lovely and made my Brazilian less awkward and painful than I expected. I felt comfy in the private studio- Morgan explained all the steps, helped me count down for the wax pulls, and set me up for success with aftercare.

Tease is a great salon. I've had cuts/styling from the owner, Tina, and stylist Anita. They are talented, efficient, creative and responsive. I have short hair and I'm always in and out in 30 minutes or less. I live 25 minutes away and have been going there for about 10 years.
I have been coming to Lash Up for about 2-years and the quality of treatments is always superb. She takes the time with each client to do the best job. This isn't a shop with several Aestheticians so your a pampered customer instead of just getting the job done quickly. I have my lashes done here, brazilian waxing, facials and checmical peels. So i live in WA. We came to visit. After having breakfast we up and decided we’re going to get a tattoo. So im 37 never had a tattoo before. So we went across the street to Martian Arts and it was a good vide as we walked in. Jerry was so kind patient and over all helpful. Im 37 but when i tell you i hate i hate pain. A little pinch will bring tears to my eyes. I finally found the courage to do it and i did. It was so smooth it just left like a itch. Wasn’t painful at all. To be clear i only had 5 letters done behind my ear vertical down my neck. Basic letters at that. So nothing too crazy. When i tell you it took him longer to set up and sanitize than getting my tattoo done. It went so well that i end up getting another tattoo in the same area but it was just a small heart. 10/10 would recommend and i will be getting another tattoo and this is where i will be coming. Its worth that 3 hr drive. Thank you Jerry keep up the good work. See you next time. And to whomever reading this looking for recommendations, do it. Go here you will not regret it!

Went to Euphoria Tattoo and Piercing’s new location inside Lloyd Center to get my piercing jewelry changed out. Honestly, I was in and out so fast I thought I blacked out ? less than 15 minutes and done. I had a great experience with Craig Anderson Plumbing when I needed help with my water heater in Portland. I called in the morning, and Tanner was able to come by right after I finished work in the evening. He quickly removed the old water heater and had the new one installed and running within an hour. He even brought all the gas and water connections up to code, which gave me peace of mind. Tanner also figured out why my hot water was running backwards through the heater whenever I used the outdoor hose. He fixed the valve issue that was causing warmer water to flow into the toilet tanks, and he did it at no extra charge. The price I paid was fair and matched the average rates for plumbers in the area, and I could tell Tanner really knew his stuff. They specialize in water heaters, so I felt confident I was in good hands. I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done!
I’m a Big Fan of Crown Plumbing. From scheduling to install they are professional, knowledgeable and good people to deal with. My Portland home is more than 100 years old and gradually needing former owners work repaired.
I have several fixes and improvements which have been completed. Each time the plumber who has worked on the jobs does so with excellent workmanship and a pleasant attitude. All my home’s fixes have been addressed professionally and workmanship and parts warranted.
Along the way there was one repair where workmanship needed a re-do. And more recently, one where a part had to be warranty replaced. As with all the other work done, each of these were handled quickly and with good collaboration. I feel well supported and will continue to use them as needed. It also helps to have that they use an effective text and email interface.

It has been a week since Lupen Systems have installed our TVs on wall mounts. The quote we received was reasonably priced as it also included the wall mounts. We are very pleased with the quality of their service. They wore boots covers and brought a vacuum to ensure they don't track in dirt from the outside, and cleaned up the area after they completed their work. The wall mounts are super sturdy. They asked our opinions to ensure the angle of the TVs are installed to our preference. They work quick, but very efficient. They're also super friendly and professional. I had a small electrical problem here at home that I could not figure out so I started looking around for an electrician and found elocalelectricians.com from another review here on Yelp. I sent out a request for a quote from 4 businesses and only got 1 reply back and that was from John at Phoenix. After I described what was going on he advised me to double check a connection and sure enough that's were my problem was. He didn't come out, didn't make any money off of me but yet he took the time to try and help me out on the phone and thus saved me a good $80 or more. Although I didn't have any service done from them per say, they will be on the top of my list to call if I ever need a electrician again!
Tim was great at making time to give me an estimate, and sending Cliff over to do the work in a very short time. He in turn had to come up with a creative solution when we found out a heating vent was in the way. In addition, based on their finding out that there was an existing wire in place they charged me less than the bid. Very pleased with this company and will continue to use them.

The rug they cleaned was my Grandmother’s, bought sometime in the late 80s/early 90s and 10 x 12 ft. It came from my parents, they’re a shoes on household with two dogs. Renaissance transformed this rug and took fantastic care of it, it looks and feels brand new. There was a pesky red stain we’d been covering with furniture for years, I could not find a single trace of it.

We hired Craftsman Design to help restore the exterior of our 1917 house to its original craftsman beauty while improving our insulation and building envelope. Absolutely best pest control around we had them treat apartment for ants 2 years later we still had no ants and every other apartment could not get rid of them. Today we live on other side of town in our own home and soon as I seen 1 ant my wife and I looked at each other and at the same time said Pete's is the absolute only pest control we will ever use. Prestige did a massive hardscaping overhaul of my front and back yard in early 2026. They removed all the weed-riddled grass, installed rain gardens, augmented the soil, and placed beautiful cedar, flagstone, and gravel paths. They also worked hard to get rid of some lingering English ivy that my retaining wall contractor was supposed to remove. Throughout the process, they communicated clearly and professionally. I knew exactly when they would be working, and their estimate for the length of the project was spot on. They returned a couple months later after planting was complete to install the dripline (what a life saver!) and came back recently to help show me how to repair little leaks that inevitably pop up. I needed some old rotten rail ties removed from a small retaining wall and I wanted hardscape installed so the yard was secure and I wouldn’t have to replace the retaining wall again any time soon. They cleared a lot of stuff overgrown roses and installed a 4’ wall without damaging my fence. They did an excellent job. The wall has drainage. It’s gorgeous and they tied it into a front retaining wall that was already there and made the whole thing look beautiful and matching. They asked questions about what exactly I wanted and were friendly and professional. 10/10 would hire again.

What a score to find Brian and Joe! I was looking for someone to removed half a dozen over grown (and old) shrubbery and a sad maple tree. I'd contacted two other companies for bids and never heard a word. So when I stumbled across Brian and his crew working at another house in my neighborhood, I was delighted to find that someone would even talk to me! Within a couple hours, Brian came down and gave me an estimate and a week later, the backyard was clean. Crew was prompt, efficient, cleaned up everything and repaired a small piece of irrigation line that was nicked in the process of shrub removal. Awesome customer service as well. Total package!

Fantastic results! I hired them for my backyard renovation. They added new pavers, a retaining wall, and fresh sod, all completed on time. Their design suggestions really improved both the look and functionality of my yard.
The only minor issue was a slight delay in receiving the final design plan, but once approved, everything went smoothly. Overall, I’m very happy with the outcome and would recommend them.
They showed up earlier than they said they would and got right to work. They had to use a weed eater to mow the back yard, as it was waist high grass. They raked up all the lawn trimmings and bagged them, leaving them neatly stacked out front. They also mowed and took a weed eater to the front yard (which wasn't part of the initial quote) at no extra cost. Fast, efficient and professional and would definitely use this service again.

What can I say, I am extremely dental phobic. Just to support my comment, I was flying from Portland, OR to Orange County, CA for 5 years, 4 times a year to see my old dentist due to my fear of having to start with a new dentist (I know pretty crazy). However, it had become so expensive to fly and Uber to my dentist in Orange County, CA. I had to find a new dentist. I received a recommended to Dr. Kaveen Ranasinghe in July of this year and finally broke down to see him. He is a wonderful dentist and was very patient with my dental phobia. He spent a lot of time taking to me about my fears and how we could minimize any potential pain involved in my future dental work. Portland Dental has pain management options for even the most phobic patient like me. Also my dental hygienist (Jessica) is patient and gentle making my dental cleanings much easier to manage (she's the BEST). I would strongly recommended Dr. Kaveen (aka Dr. Ranasinghe) and his wonderful staff to all those dental phobic patients like me or anyone that just want a great dentist. Portland Dental is the best and I wanted to thank everyone for their patience and concern over my well being!
I went in for a second opinion on the care recommendations of my current dentist and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Dr. Hall carefully went over the treatment options, timing, costs and advantages/disadvantages of each. He helped me figure out which made sense for me and how to fit the work in with other things happening in my life. Rogue is 5 stars. Dr. Grant Schoen has adjusted me for years & just gets better & better. He’s got great great hands. I always feel better after his adjustments & posture correction work. Free parking is available under the building in the garage. The elevator is a bit slow, so I find it faster to walk around to the front of the building & enter their first floor office on the left. 2026 update: I get better results here than I do with my PT, OT & LMT. I’m very grateful for the skilled & intuitive chiropractic care that I receive here.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Claudia Taylor today. She was fast, professional, knowledgeable, and clearly confident in her approach, which immediately put me at ease. I have visible tattoos (a full sleeve and a half sleeve) and really appreciated feeling completely comfortable and respected in her office. Dr. Taylor truly listened to me and made space for my concerns, which helped me feel seen and heard. She was also impressively knowledgeable about my insurance and made sure to honor the boundaries of my coverage so I wouldn’t be surprised by a big bill later. I really value that in a provider. The entire staff was warm, efficient, and kind. Highly recommend!

I've been working with Annie Hood for 5 years and she's been such a big help in my journey to manage my mental health and substance abuse issues. She listens to my needs, remembers what we've discussed in past appointments (so I'm never having to re-explain or repeat myself), is willing to work with me to experiment with different approaches and never pushes anything on me.
I've also always had positive experiences with front office staff etc. One time, I didn't realize my refills were out and Annie was out of the office, but one of the other providers was able to sign off on a refill and I was taken care of quickly.

I should have left this review long ago but this amazing man performed brain surgery on me back in 2000 when I was 5 for chiari malformation. It’s because of him and God that I am here today a fully functioning mother, wife and daughter. I’ll never forget the day of my last checkup appointment when he said you are free to be a kid, nobody would ever know you had brain surgery other than by your scar. So I’m still here today to share hope for others in a dark place. And to tell you to choose him as your neurosurgeon! If there was an option for 1,000 stars or more I’d choose that! I’ve been a loyal and faithful client at PD&C for almost a decade, and I simply can not express how impressed and grateful I am to the staff, techs, and doctors at this practice. The level of care is *exceptional*- I had a cat that suffered a nearly fatal coyote attack, two dogs with naproxen poisoning, and at least one round of intestinal parasites… and they’ve just taken the best care of my pets.
The front desk staff has become almost an extension of our family- Lita & Karla are so welcoming and warm- they remember details about our family and feel like they are invested in our whole family health. Drs Weinstein, Deremer, and Mallov are *exceptional* in their field. I trust and value this veterinary practice, and consider them friends. Very, very grateful for PD&C, and hope to count them among our most trusted providers for many years to come.
Update: we saw Dr Mallov recently for a diagnosis on my dog’s hip- he was SO gentle and knows my dog (blind/ arthritic/ and quite opinionated) so he and the tech (Rob- we love Rob.) were careful to treat him respectfully and keep him safe (dog can jump unexpectedly off of high surfaces).
I was pleased that my dog was comfortable and accommodating to the checking, and didn’t nip or grumble. We got a great diagnosis that won’t break the bank, and is a program that will both support our dog’s needs now and prepare us for possible concerns down the road. Our peace of mind is critical, and I SO appreciate that this practice won’t pressure you with a “hard sell” on services. They give excellent council, and really and truly care for our pets and… us owners too. I will always, always be grateful for this amazing veterinary practice in the heart of Kenton.
I switched to wildwood from a very long care with rose city vet since 2020. I was not happy w/ my dr/drs there when it came to my dogs senior care. they just kept giving me the same medications and hard to see one dr. Wildwood vet Dr. johnson listen to us carefully and had great solutions and if one thing didn’t work she offered another.
my senior pup I believed lived extra longer because of their care and suggestion of medications. He was not in pain and although I wished he lived little longer, I believe he left when he needed to and after my dog passed wildwood sent me a sweet sympathy card. I appreciate the detail and care. I will be going back to have them care for my 2nd pup. Thank you for great vet care with presto & many more to come! It is not easy to find trusted vet care.
I'm not sure we have dealt with Dr Gilbert... We use Viking Veterinary and have seen several vets, but last year or so mostly just two of them.
But I guess maps offered to route me to a doctor instead of the whole practice so now (as usual) Google Maps keeps nagging me to do a review. It becomes easier to just do one to shut it up.
My entire family has been taking our animals to Dr. Holmgren for 30 years. He's just the best there is. Decades of experience, doesn't try to do unnecessary things, gentle and practical. He and his wife are wonderful people. He'll be retiring soon and we are so sad, but also very grateful for everything he's done for us over the years. We'll never find another vet like him. He and his wife just can't be replaced ❤️
Dr. Holmgren has been our family pet doctor for many years (over 25+ years). He is very knowledgeable in all areas of our dog and cat's needs. I highly recommend him.
Mobile vet travels to various pet stores offering vaccinations and minor vet services. The $60 exam fee is deducted from the cost of meds, a wonderful service.

I adopted a senior dog, and everyone at Kenton animal hospital was amazing in helping me make sure he has the best care. I was provided great recommendations about his long term health in a very pleasant conversational way that was very reassuring. I am so thankful I have a place that my pup can be looked after appropriately.

Hi all, my boyfriend and I are here in Portland visiting his family and we have a foster pup that ate a corn cob, at the time we did not know what it was. Dr. Bruno recommended giving IV fluids to see if it would move the obstruction farther down and hopefully get his body to digest it. But with no success the rescue that saved him from a major kill shelter in Az decided to do surgery. Dr. Bruno did an amazing job with surgically removing the corn cob and sowing him back up. We are so thankful for him seeing us and taking on our situation. He is an incredibly busy doctor and was getting ready to leave town but saw us anyways. He is also a local vet which we love to support the local community. I called at least 10 other Veterinarian hospital's and it seems as though Portland has been taken over by coperate Veterinarian hospitals. Their prices for surgery start between $3,500 & go as high as $12,000 for just removing an obstruction. That is absolutely ridiculous and it seems as though they are just taking advantage of the general public because once it becomes all corporate people will have no where else to go. This Veterinarian is considerably less expensive than the corporate hospitals. Support this local Vet they are wonderful. Their staff are all great, very caring and also very helpful. Pat is the Vet Technician that did a great job with our foster boy. The other technician are also all wonderful. I can not say enough positive things about this local Veterinarian hospital.

I took my elderly cat in for her first appointment here today and I am so happy I did. The staff was cordial and Dr. Castle was very professional and helpful. The last vet my cat went to was not nearly as helpful and seemed to be more concerned with money than care of the animals, even going so far as to say they may not be the cheapest, but I should remember that you get what you pay for. While I understand that to an extent, I believe that was not the case with our now ex-vet clinic. I would happily pay the prices of the previous clinic for the care from this one.
Portland Animal Clinic was also able to give me her medicine right away unlike the other vet who sent me to a specialty pharmacy that was quite a ways away. I am ecstatic to continue my best friend's care with Portland Animal Clinic and Dr. Castle.
Trying to find the right surgeon is not easy, and stressful. I had two recommendations for Dr.Kramer and my dog told me I made the right decision. After Sunny had been given a full work over, he put his giant head on Dr. Kramer’s foot as if to say “This is the guy, Mom.” He went far and above the call of duty to help our gentle giant. His expertise and his amazing team consistently help us in the recovery phase.
Our puppy got her first cut and everyone was so caring for her, took it at her pace to set us all up for a positive experience for future haircuts!

I meant to leave them a review awhile back when we brought both my dogs for a quick teeth brush but they went above and beyond with that, and helped clean up their paws without any extra charge. We first took our mini Goldendoodle, Vinny, to Emerald K9 Grooming when he was 4 months and Kaley was amazing. She trained Vinny for grooming and always made sure he had a gorgeous cut! Charlton kennels was recommended to us by a family member. We boarded our dog here for 10 days without issue. The staff is friendly and the rates are fair. When we go on vacation again we plan on using them again. Years later, still using them without issue

My partner and I really loved Daniele's Embodied Birth + Hands-On Partner Support class! Don't let the 4.5 hours intimidate you. She does a great job of utilizing different learning modes (tangible, visual, sharing, movement), lots of breaks and snacks. We learned a lot and had a fun time. My partner feels more connected to and knowledgable about the birthing process so he can better support me when labor time comes. It was great to hear how other birthing couples are approaching things. We got to ask lots of questions and Daniele and Pame (her co-facilitator) were super helpful and informative in their answers. Glad this is the birthing class we chose!

I wanted to give a big shout-out to NOW Yoga. I’ve been unemployed for a minute and needed something to help me get out of my apartment. I wanted to try yoga for the first time but couldn’t afford anything too expensive. NOW’s “new client special” was such a steal of a deal. Because of that, I was able to enjoy two weeks of unlimited classes, which I definitely utilized. It completely helped me break out of my daily monotony and helped me gain strength—both physically and spiritually. Thank you so much, NOW Yoga!
I fell off the yoga bandwagon a couple/few years ago. It's hard to find the time, but I've been up early lately, so with my wife's encouragement, I gave 6 am hot yoga a go today! It felt great to get back at it!!! It was challenging, but that's the point, right? I can tell it was good for my body and I have lots to work to do, so I'll be back. They were very inviting and the popsicle + tea is a nice touch for sure. Thank you for making me feel so welcomed and encouraging me to participate where I'm at. Looking forward to getting stronger and more fit, and getting to know some other like-minded folks! If you are on the fence, just go for it. Can't beat the $39 for 7 classes introductory deal. That's almost free. I brought a mat and towel, but that's included for newbies. BTW, it's okay to be a newbie? Up at 6 am with nothing else to do and want some feel-good physical activity to get your day started? Join me at 6 am. BTW, parking at 6 am is the best. No worriea there! And bring done at 7, traffic isn't bad yet. There's no reason not to go! Just do it!!!
I have been going to Paxon studio and formally Gudmestad Studio for over 10 years. Every single teacher is fantastic. All teachers focus on proper alignment and using props when needed. I always feel safe in knowing I won’t hurt myself and my strength has vastly improved along with flexibility. Classes are taught by terms and it’s easy to make up classes missed. There is also special focus classes and yoga retreats. I highly recommend this studio!
I have been practicing yoga at Harmony Yoga for six years. I take the gentle yoga classes offered by Moline Whitson, but there are a variety of classes at all levels offered both by Moline and other teachers. Moline’s gentle classes are perfectly targeted to my age and abilities. And there is never a boring day. Moline has a great ability to tailor each class to engage us and enhance our practices. Harmony Yoga is anchored in the community and is a wonderful place for your practice. I recommend it unreservedly.

I attended Eugene's class on June 14 and 21 during a recent trip back to Portland to see friends and family. I lived in NW, just around the corner, for over 20 years and I have very fond memories of this space as it used to be a pilates studio run by a dear friend. I very much enjoyed both experiences with Eugene and I look forward to being a regular drop in devotee during my semi-annual visits.
Update - I dropped in for classes during my last two trips (January and last week) and was lucky that Eugene was there for both. What a treat! I'm still pondering the lessons from our anatomy study.

This Pilates studio is the BEST (for me and my needs). I've been taking reformer classes from Emily and Kacie since February 2024. The approach is hard for me to describe as I have not been at other studios. The others in my classes are probably 90% regulars (of all ages up to 95yo). The signing up and policy for cancellations is totally reasonable. And there are different levels to choose from.
Took Cara’s class - it was so invigorating, a perfect challenge and loved the note at the beginning “an hour of self care.”
I have seen Colleen for body work- visceral manipulation and nervous system work- for a handful of sessions. She is the best! Always professional, easy to work with, her space is very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend her- she has a great list of services and is highly skilled in her work.

Adrienne is truly skilled and intuitive. She creates a calm, caring space that makes it easy to fully relax and trust the process. She has a very grounded presence and her unique combination of craniosacral and deeper tissue work feels both gentle and deeply releasing. I leave feeling lighter, more at ease in my body, and noticeably more settled and open. I’m so glad I found Adrienne and Written on the Body Massage!

I was very pleased with the massage by Dodson. In town to see my son and wanted to find a great massage after a lot of moving and physical work. Dodson really worked out the stiff areas and I tremendously benefited from his skilled, healing touch. Very comfortable setting. Will definitely refer Dodson and return in the future. A+
RAPID is an amazing treatment. I wanted a massage - I needed RAPID. In 2 sessions Jennifer released blockages I had from years of injuries - falls I’d taken and thought I was fine since nothing was broken. For the first time in over a year I can lift my arm over my head without pain. If I lived in Portland I’d be coming in every few weeks now that I understand what my past ‘living’ has done in my body. I’ll definitely be booking several sessions the next time I’m in town.
I should also mention this isn’t a luxurious experience- BUT so so effective.

Hot stone massage for 90 minutes was the best ever I have had. I have only ever had hot stone via a pedicure, having it on full body massage was so great, the depth of massage was great. I will definitely be coming back for more.

I just received my first massage yesterday from Aimee at Medicina Massage and was completely BLOWN AWAY. It was INCREDIBLE. Aimee is truly gifted and an outstanding massage therapist. The entire massage completely rearranged my head and my body. Was definitely floating out of there. She does Ashiatsu, which is a barefoot form of massage that incorporates using her feet to do most of the massage, combined with oil, so there is plenty of Flow and Glide. Highly Recommended!!!!!

I own and operate a construction company and I literally couldn't physically operate without Kiya's thoughtful effort to loosen and heal my muscles, tendons, body and mind.
The space is located in a beautiful, historic building that is worth a session to see in itself and Kiya has done an amazing job turning the space into a peaceful oasis. With great natural light. Every detail is thoughtful being addressed and considered and you can tell.

I’ve had a fractured vertebrae for almost all my life and have tried multiple ways of treatment I just recently discovered maya about a couple months ago with acupuncture and cupping it was an absolute game changer she’s helped me get to the root of my pain and I have never felt better, little to no back pain bothers me anymore. I've taken the car control class twice now. The first time was several years ago with three other students and I learned some valuable skills. The reality is, thankfully, we don't have many days in Portland with snow and ice, so I took a private lesson this time to get more practice. Instruction and feedback was excellent, and I feel much more confident to take on the winter roads. I'll probably continue to take a refresher course every few years. Practice makes perfect! Highly recommend.
