There were so many times during our hour together when something felt so good and right, and he held it there, which had the effect of making those fleeting feel-good moments in a massage last longer. It also made space for these painful or dissociated areas to feel recognized.
I think it takes courage to embrace stillness; great intuition and effort to know when to hold on to a moment. Eric listened to my body, saw with his eyes where I needed the work, and helped me feel the calming flow within myself.
His work feels like something we did together, which was inspiring to take into the rest of my day. I so look forward to returning.
I have had massages at other places where the therapist made me feel rushed, uncomfortable and wouldn't listen to me and my needs. I felt like all I was just another client and they didn't care. Not at this place. First of all, this place was large, clean and has several privet rooms. I was greeted right away by a very pleasant young lady with a happy demeaner named Lina. While I explained what I needed worked on her focus was on me and my needs. Even though I was a walk in with no appointment she took me in right away. She lead me back to a nice quit room where I didn't have to listen to people talking, carrying on or babies crying in the lobby like some places I've been. Once she started she noticed I was having some rotor cuff issues and took extra time to work on those areas. When I was getting ready leave, I didn't feel rushed and there was no pressure for a tip. (of course I tipped her) Even though there was a slight language barrier she took the initiative to use the interpretation app on her phone for better communication. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the professional way every thing looked and the way I was treated. Great experience and I will be back again.

Kayla gave me bangs hours after getting a haircut. Dude would not cut my hair like I wanted because my forehead is too small. Kayla looked at me. She IMMEDIATELY stated I need something more fun. YAAASSSS. So I attached her work. And of course my new haircut that she made so exciting. I was soooo scared and sooo fed up. But so happy I found this shop. They will get 3 clients now. In 2018 I was 22 and suffering severely with postpartum depression. My hair was in shambles to put it simply, insanely matted from rushing in the shower and throwing it up while in the trenches with my first baby.
My hair has always been one of my favorite qualities about myself so letting it get to this point made me feel so ashamed and embarrassed. But the workers here were so understanding and made me feel so welcomed and cared for. I had three people working on my hair if I remember right but the only name I remember is Ryan, who was the main stylist. It took hours but they did it.

Perfect look in Milwaukee is a very clean and comfortable place. The stylists are also amazing people who definitely know what they're doing. Renee does such a wonderful job that I followed her from the Gresham branch out to the Milwaukee branch. I definitely recommend this place.

The salon is immaculately clean, beautifully lit with tons of natural light, and has an atmosphere that is both relaxing and upbeat. The jelly pedicure was one of the most mesmerizing and luxurious spa experiences I’ve ever had—hands down the best pedicure of my life. My feet were glowing and soft, and my toenails looked so cute I was proudly showing them off any chance I got.
They also offer microblading services and I am strongly considering utilizing their services. I have full faith that they will not disappoint! Their prices are incredibly affordable and if you consider the amazing work they do you will always leave feeling like you got the better deal (which left me feeling a little guilty so I cleared my conscious with a great tip!)

Left this on Yelp, too, but just want to get the word out on a great plumber: Had a great experience with Steve Ackerman (the son)! Called with a leak issue (from the ceiling), and while they couldn't work me in for a couple of days initially, they called back shortly after the same day when they had a cancellation. Steve arrived when he said he would, was polite, personable, and thorough. He tried to minimize the damage he had to do to the drywall to find the cause of the leak, and he explained every step of the way. It required another trip out to the house to get everything resolved (to allow time for drying of wet wood), but he was efficient, thorough, and left my house even a bit cleaner than when he arrived. Nice guy, obviously very knowledgeable about what he does, and he gave great advice. I will DEFINITELY use him if I ever need a plumber again.
Just started working with Bob as one of my subcontractors. So far, really happy with quality of the work performed by his guy Correy and have had only good encounters with Bob so far coordinating the work and choosing products and he has taken time totanswer phone and respondel to texts reguarding questions about project consistently. The fact that I haven't had any headaches or frustration working with him as a subcontractor says a lot.

Due to some health issues, we contacted Cottage Care to help us keep the cat fur down to a low roar. Becca is willing and cat-friendly to help us out, and gets things clean that I didn't even know were dirty, (and I thought I was good at that!) We love her and the shine she brings to the house and our lives! Would recommend ANYTIME!

Kirk was by far the most thorough, personable, knowledgeable, and sane. The others were fast talking sales folks essentially stepping on the competition trying to make themselves look superior.The work started onetime, the guys introduced themselves and have to say, they were a breath of fresh air. They were polite all about the “please” and “thank you”. A basic courtesy lost these days. The work was completed the same day as promised, and again with thank you for the business.Within the next couple days, I actually got a hand written thank you note, who does this these days...I would highly recommend Bach, hands down. The floor looks great, and these guys are professional smart and very easy to work with.

We found Union Floor Company after they refinished floors for a close friend. Our original hardwood floors had been covered with awful stain (red undertones) and beaten up over the years and quite frankly, looked pretty awful. However, Union Floor Company completely revived our floors to their original 1920s glory. Union Floor Company is pretty much a two-man show, with one person doing all of the onsite work. It took about one week to complete the job, from sanding to staining to letting things dry out and it was totally worth the wait. some of the best money we've ever spent to have such an amazing transformation. We went with water-based stain/clear coat for that modern look (photo attached of before/after).
My mom had an ADU built in the back of her property this last year and it was the most fun summer I’ve had. Adam makes everything easy. We drew the layout she wanted, he gave his honest opinion about what would work better, and he made it happen in 7 months from breaking ground to Mom in her house. He let us bother him with any and all annoying questions, his boys are wonderful, any outside contractors they used were also awesome and respectful. If anything, he gives too many details about things he’s doing and working on for the week (and month) (and months). They made my Mom happy and they made a point to do it. He was very amicable to change things on the fly. Kept both of us updated on when people would be here (them, contractors, inspectors, etc). Finish work is excellent. He took my mom shopping since she gets overwhelmed with too many decisions, which was super cute. He is better than either of us at picking finishes. Everything was clean after everyday working. 10 out of 10 for the whole experience. Thanks Adam, Chris and Tim for making my Mom ecstatic about her new tiny house!

We are working with Gores Construction on a large exterior rehabilitation project for our HOA community. After interviewing multiple prospects, we chose Gores to lead this project. They took the time in the scope and proposal to address our needs and configure a budget that would suit our community.
We are currently about 5 months into this project that is projected to last 12 months. They are ahead of schedule and right in line with our budget. The crew works hard to address the needs of our community, and have been extremely friendly to all of our neighbors. If issues arise, they are able to figure out a timely solution to keep the project moving. I haven't worked with many contractors, but Gores has been exceeding our expectations.

Renee is an incredible massage therapist! And as a person who has lived with chronic pain my entire life (quite literally since the day I was born), it's really hard to find healthcare professionals I click with. I've been getting massages here since March of 2024 and my only regret is that I can't go more often! She is an excellent listener, really knows her stuff, is equally happy to have deep conversations about life or just hang out in companionable silence, and communicates what's going on in your body in an easy to understand way. The best part, though, is that she laughs at my jokes. That's worth the price of the visit right there 😅 the chronic pain in my lower back has subsided significantly, she helped me through an adductor strain that lasted for weeks, she correctly identified this horrible pain in my upper back I'm dealing with right now as a rib problem, and she's the only massage therapist that has been able to make psoas work bearable! I could go on and on, so I'll just end with how grateful I am to have found her and to be in her care through one of the toughest periods of pain of my life so far.

I recently moved to Gladstone and have been concerned about finding a vet office that is fear free for my two little guys. My pomchi had cancer surgery several years ago and was traumatized by the experience. My other pup, 1/2 poodle and 1/2 chihuahua just has a scaredy cat personality. My dogs were instantly won over by the vet tech and the vet was just as wonderful with them. It is important for me to prevent my guys from feeling unsafe and even after my pomchi had to have a lump aspirated he was still fine. I recommend these women highly
I brought my cat in to Linwood after receiving poor care at a different vet for an abscess on my cats foot. I had already spent $1400 at the other vet and the abscess wasn't resolved. The staff at Linwood were amazing! They took care of my cats foot properly and my total bill was a bit more than $400. I appreciate all of the staff at Linwood! We will continue our pets care with them.

Joy was a pleasure to meet, and a truly talented massage therapist. She was attentive, thorough, and was able to pinpoint stress areas that really needed attention. I demand a lot of my body athletically, as well as for work, and she was very intuitive about what my needs as a client were on the first time visiting her practice. I feel amazing today thanks to my appointment. Her rates are very reasonable and she maintains a very clean space. I rarely write business reviews, but I would highly recommend Joy.
I have had massages at other places where the therapist made me feel rushed, uncomfortable and wouldn't listen to me and my needs. I felt like all I was just another client and they didn't care. Not at this place. First of all, this place was large, clean and has several privet rooms. I was greeted right away by a very pleasant young lady with a happy demeaner named Lina. While I explained what I needed worked on her focus was on me and my needs. Even though I was a walk in with no appointment she took me in right away. She lead me back to a nice quit room where I didn't have to listen to people talking, carrying on or babies crying in the lobby like some places I've been. Once she started she noticed I was having some rotor cuff issues and took extra time to work on those areas. When I was getting ready leave, I didn't feel rushed and there was no pressure for a tip. (of course I tipped her) Even though there was a slight language barrier she took the initiative to use the interpretation app on her phone for better communication. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the professional way every thing looked and the way I was treated. Great experience and I will be back again.
