About Brooklyn Yard Veterinary Hospital
Brooklyn Yard Veterinary Hospital is a highly recommended veterinary clinic that treats animals with respect and dignity. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and provide thoughtful, knowledgeable solutions for even the most anxious pets. They are amazing at keeping your pet calm and comfortable with a smooth intake system where you wait in your car to avoid incidents. The space is very clean, cheery, and well kept. They are very pleasant and easy to work with, caring and diligent, and very responsive when you call or email.
We love them so much but it’s almost impossible to get in with any urgency. For routine checks and planned procedures they are excellent, but anytime we have had something urgent come up we almost always end up having to go elsewhere. Guess when you find a good vet then everyone else does too and this is what happens. ❤
I moved back to Portland and needed to establish care with a new vet for my elderly dog, I read the reviews for Brooklyn Yard and was blown away with how much people loved it. I brought my 15 year old chiweenie in and the experience with the vet was so heartwarming. She fell in love with him instantly. She was so sweet and gentle with my old man. But the thing that really sold me on Brooklyn Yard Vet was that I wasn’t shamed for not getting my dog’s dental problems taken care of yet. It’s a huge expense and I’ve been saving for it.
