“I’ve been seeing Bryce at Edit Beauty Collective in The Pearl for 3 years now. My hair has been consistently the best it’s ever looked. Bryce is a master of his craft and is meticulous with every move he makes. He also explains what he’s doing and why he’s doing it so there are no surprises. My color lasts a verrrrrry long time because of his knowledge of color and placement and they carry the highest level of products at the studio so I can continue care at home between appointments. 10/10 five stars across the board. I will go to Bryce for life.“
“I have very, VERY, thick and dense wavy hair (the curse/blessing of being Greek) and I have been searching for years to find someone who knows how to cut my hair properly. I found Cat at the Nest and I will literally swear by them until I die. Cat not only knows how to cut my hair the way I like, but also has taught me how to care for my hair and facilitates proper maintenance for super thick wavy hair. They work with me and with my hair type to produce the best results possible, AND they're fun to talk to which is *chefs kiss*. “Jen is amazing. I wish I had all the photos of what she's done to and for my hair over the years, all gathered up for this review but I'll have to post them later if I can. My profile photo is her work --- perfection. She has been doing my hair from lifting and toning, putting cool colors in, full on haircuts & layering, trims for up-keep, and recently - on a whim: bangs! They look fantastic! Shes gentle, super sweet and always makes sure to ask specifics on what you want, and check-in with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. My hair is always in better condition after I'm done seeing her. She really knows what she's doing. I always suggest bringing in a photo (if you can) to any hair stylist to make sure you're getting what you want, especially if you don't know what the haircut or style is called - just something to do or you may miscommunicate what you're after. I've brought in photos only a few times, but the few times I have, she's only needed a quick look, and immediately know what I'm after, executes it well! I've gotten services from her at several salons, and will continue to follow her if she ever goes anywhere else! I'm glad she's at a salon with Aveda - plant based products now ☺️. Thank you Jen!!“

“I got married in Portland on 10/8/23 and was so happy to have Blossom & Beauty as the glam squad for me and my bridesmaids! From trial to the big day, Jasmine (our primary h&m artist) and her team were professional and reassuring, and we had such a positive experience. A couple days before the wedding, I started to second guess my trial hairstyle due to a change in the weather. Jasmine was reassuring that we could make any necessary adjustments on the day of the wedding, and I really appreciated her confidence that we would put together a great look. My crew decided to get ready at the Blossom & Beauty studio rather than having the team travel to our venue, and we enjoyed our time in their pretty space! Jasmine was efficient but didn't make anything feel rushed, and we finished well ahead of schedule. I loved my hair and makeup look, and it lasted all day with minimal touchups needed. Notably, I was struggling with dry skin and major dark circle on the day of the wedding, and like a total magician, Jasmine made all of those concerns disappear. I also loved that my bridesmaids were able to have different looks according to their preferences, but it was a cohesive vibe overall. HUGE thanks to Jasmine and the team, and we would 100% recommend them for your big day.“

My hair was extremely damage and destroyed and I honestly thought I was going to go bald. “I’ve gone to Lily to get my haircut for several years now, and her prices cannot be beaten. She knows how to cut Asian hair really well, and I won’t go to anyone but her. As if my expectations couldn’t be more met, she gave me a perm in November 2022. Normally cold perms only last three or four months, but we are now on month 7 and my hair still looks great. The photo of me indoors is back in April, five months in. The photo of me outdoors is from today, June 22.Edit 10/5/23: almost one year later and I still have great curls from the great perm job she did (see third photo with my straight hair growing back in).“
