I'm new to Portland, and finding a new stylist/barber is always tough. When my boyfriend came home with a great cut from a nearby shop, I asked him where he went and booked an appointment soon after at Troublemaker. It's a relaxed and welcoming place. Blare understood exactly what I wanted and didn't want, and he gave me one of the best cuts I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be returning to see him!

THIS PLACE IS A PDX HIDDEN GEMYes, it’s a great barbershop, but what I really love is the inexpensive beers they keep on tap (or non alcoholic drinks, if you prefer).It looks like another high quality PDX barbershop (which it is) but it’s also an unassuming place to grab a couple beers after work (no haircut required). The vibe is great. The staff is friendly. And you can’t find a better deal for the beer.They don’t have a huge selection but the few taps they have are always great options and they even brought it in a keg because I told them it was my favorite.Troublemaker has become the meetup spot for my friends before we head out for the night. Went in the day before my wedding, and had the greatest experience getting a cut. Joel cut my hair, and faded me with a razor. Fantastic job!! Because of my work I've had to get cuts elsewhere, and it doesn't even compare. I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, and phenomenal cuts.Service: Razor cut
