We had our first appointment at Powell Veterinary Center at Westmoreland, and we were very pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the front desk and quickly brought to the back to meet with the veterinarian. The veterinarian was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering all of our questions, especially since this is our first dog.
They treated Blazer wonderfully, and we really appreciated that they were able to get us in on such short notice. We feel very lucky to have found this place! Parking was also very easy and convenient.

I brought my adorable problem child feline to get her nails clipped. The staff did the best they could but were only able to clip her back nails without any injury to cat or staff. They made a new appointment for me and explained how to use the sedating medication ahead of time to make the process more comfortable for Missy. This is only my second visit to Powell and everyone there is always friendly and take the time to explain everything. The last time I was there I brought along a new cat carrier I had been unable to put together and they graciously did it for me.

I brought in my cat recently because she was having trouble chewing, and the staff was so kind and gentle with her. She is a difficult patient but they found the source of her tooth pain. I am very grateful to them for their caring attitude and knowledge!
