“I recently visited The Goodface for a makeup lesson with Shannon and I can't say enough good things about it!! I have a few special events coming up and wanted to learn how to refine my technique for things like eyeshadow blending and eyeliner, blush placement and bronzer, as well as a few other things I've never quite gotten the hang of, and Shannon was so helpful.

I booked a 15 minute consultation a few weeks ago and we chatted through what I wanted to learn. When it came for the appointment, she had clearly prepared and listened to what I wanted to achieve. She'd laid out so many different products for me to try, but she also worked a lot of the makeup and brushes I already own into the look. She had a lot of great product recommendations, everything from the more expensive luxury makeup lines to a lot of drugstore brands to try as well - which I really appreciated. It wasn't sales-y at all, just her recommendations but also lots of way to work with what I already own. Throughout the appointment she was so friendly and easy to talk to, and great at demonstrating a technique on one half of my face and then coaching me through applying it myself on the other half. I was so happy with the final look and I'm definitely feeling more confident in my abilities going forward.

“Anatomy Tattoo—what a great shop! Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is light, airy—and spotlessly clean. It’s got an impressive array of artists, proficient in a wide range of styles.

Lucky Malony is the artist I chose to help me realize tattoo number three—a 70th birthday present to myself. He has almost thirty years of tattooing experience, and his portfolio is full of lovely, unique, creative pieces.

I had a sense about what I wanted this tattoo to be, and I was fairly specific about my preferred font, colors, and design concept. But I also wanted Lucky to build upon those ideas with some of his own. My no-cost, 15-minute consultation lasted about 30 minutes—but Lucky never made me feel rushed or bothersome.

Two weeks later, Lucky showed me “our” design, come to life. It was pretty much exactly what I wanted, though I did ask for a few minor alterations—and Lucky easily complied. Although the tattooing went on about 30-minutes longer than anticipated, Lucky honored our negotiated price—which was very reasonable in the first place.

I highly recommend both the shop, Anatomy Tattoo—and the Artist, Lucky Malony. As I was getting ready to exit the shop with my fresh tattoo, I said to Lucky that I was leaving “A happy man.” He replied that was what he liked to hear.

“The two girls that were at the shop were very kind and inviting when I called to see if they could take a walk in and as well as walking into the shop. From the moment of getting there and getting my jewelry and being peirced it literally was less than 8 min or so. She was very friendly, efficient and made sure not to get any tint in my eyes which has been a challenge every time I've had it done at other places. I also really appreciated the fact that she cleaned my lashes before applying the tint, which is also something unique. My eyes looked great afterwards, and there was no remaining tint left on my skin. I highly recommend Be' spot, lash and brow!“
