Two years ago, we started thinking about moving from upstate NY to Portland OR to be with family. Shelter Solutions guided us through the process: 1) giving us a tour to see what living in an ADU felt like, 2) figuring out what we really wanted and designing it and 3) choosing everything that went into the construction and final look of our home. From 3000 miles away! Joe Robertson, Keely Montgomery and Jake Ray ( and associated suppliers) were patient and knowledgeable and always available, as we navigated leaving a big old house for a small new one on the other side of the country. The result is nothing short of amazing: 800 square feet of flexible, airy, comfortable, beautiful home we love. Shelter Solutions gave us everything we wanted and more. This is truly custom building.
Joe and the staff at Shelter Solutions were great to work with from start to finish. They designed a floor plan we love and the project turned out beautifully. Joe and team were a dream to work with. Everyone on the team including all of their subs were great, on time, communicative and solutions oriented. We have done a lot of home remodels over the years and we decided to hire Shelter Solutions to build an ADU on our property for our parents. Everything from initial design to completion meet our expectations and beyond. They really listened to us and were easy to work with.
