I had (unrealistically) high expectations going in for my first tattoo experience and Kat somehow found a way to exceed them in every way possible! She is truly a one of a kind artist. Everything from her beautiful and inviting studio to the joyful conversation, which had me laughing more than one probably should while getting a tattoo. But her art work/design... I had a pretty nebulous concept and Kat found a way to bring it to life in the most interesting, engaging, and beautiful of ways! I am stoked to go back to finish up this project (and can't wait to figure out the next one)!

As a noviate (is that the word?) to tattooing, I did a lot of research prior to picking Kat at Obsidian Tattoo. By that I mean I talked to a lot of folks, I looked at many, many portfolios and communicated with three different artists before choosing Kat. Wow, I'm so glad I did! I could not be more thrilled with the experience (and, of course, the outcome). Kat captured what I had in mind - only better! She was professional, clear, kind, and instructive. She was extremely easy to hang out with for a few hours. I feel really lucky she was recommended to me by a friend! She has a gift, that's for sure.

Kat did an amazing job on my shoulder!I asked for flowers and ended up with a masterpiece flower bouquet!Can’t wait to do the other shoulder now!! ;) I recommend her a thousand time!
