This was my first time getting my nails done and it was an amazing experience. As soon as I walked in, it was a peaceful atmosphere but then the music turned on and it became a very atmospheric homey vibe. Amanda does a great job taking care of every nail and takes her time. First time in a local barbershop in a long time. Let my hair grow out for eight months, my beard everything. Be careful- once you've gotten a haircut from Jerry, you won't want one from anyone else. I'm serious: even though I'm in college now hours away, I still only trust Jerry with my hair.First off, he's extremely fast and gentle, with haircuts lasting under 10 minutes (biggest thing for me). Second, he gives me exactly what I want, or if I don't know what I want, he still makes me look great! Third, it's such a bargain, $9 for a haircut!! Even with a healthy tip it's still less than the competition. Fourth, he reads the vibe: he won't make small talk if you don't want it.Go to Jerry and make a barber friend for life!P.S. Worth mentioning that he seems queer-friendly, if you're willing to brave the very masculine atmosphere.

I have received tattoos at Deluxe Tattoo Parlor on three occasions, the first being in April 2019, and the most recent yesterday afternoon. Ryan Snell is my go-to. He has the steadiest hand of anyone I've ever known. I'm not sure what his secret is...perhaps no caffeine and constantly ensuring his blood sugar is at a healthy level. Whatever it is, it's working for him.Each time I've gone into the Parlor, I've known precisely what I wanted, bringing photos and photocopies of exactly what I want Ryan to replicate on my arm. And he does what you ask for with precision. But before my appointment today, I witnessed a planning session between Ryan and another of his repeat clients. Ryan was collaborative, listened closely to what the client wished to add to his "art gallery" on his arm, asked a lot of questions, made suggestions, and worked with the client to arrive at a plan for his upcoming sessions.And while my tattoos are simply done in black--essentially words and connected lines with a lifetime of meaning, and a signature that I envision tracing with my fingertips for the rest of my life--(Ryan is masterful at creating epic, vibrant masterpieces...check out his Instagram: Ryan_Sn3ll) what he has etched onto my arm are true treasures to me that evoke feelings of home and family and that hold my heart. I'm not sure if you can get better than that.Aside from Ryan's mad skills, artistry, and desire to ensure he gets it just right to leave you ecstatic about the results, he's just a good egg. Had a great experience. Me my wife and mother all came in to get some quick tattoos we’ve been wanting to get to represent my daughter. We were welcomed by Pretty Tony. He was a great guy with a great attitude. This was my wife’s first tattoo and he made her feel very at ease. He didn’t mind moving the stencil or giving any feed back. He was very professional and made us all feel like our opinions mattered. Ended up getting all three of us in and out with the design we wanted as well as a custom piece my 5 yr old drew on me. I’m looking forward to working with Tony in the future.
Dallas was great! Patient, very professional, courteous and respectful. Went with my son and we were both super happy with the results! Absolutely no regrets! Dallas was also very accommodating with follow up and didn’t make us feel stupid when we asked questions with this being our first tattoo.
Laury is an outstanding artist. She JUST tattooed my brows and they look amazing. I cannot recommend Laury enough. If you're looking to have your cosmetic tattooing or breast cancer reproduction nipple shading (many survivors decide to get decorative tattooing to cover scars as well) consider having Laury, owner of DeNovo, take care of you. I'm absolutely thrilled with how my brows look. Oh, and her office is a nice soothing place where your privacy is nurtured and respected!

My first big tattoo and I couldn’t be more happy with it! During many hours of tattooing Jesse made me feel very comfortable and gave me the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. At first I wasn’t sure exactly what direction I wanted the tattoo to go, but with his own unique twist he put together a beautiful piece and I’m so in love with it! Jesse is an extremely talented artist and I’ll definitely be going back for more tattoos :)

I had the 90 min deep tissue massage and it was absolutely incredible. Very calming room and the masseuse was phenomenal. I have been to Athena Day Spa a few times, and every single time it is a wonderful experience.

The owner, Marilyn, and her incredible team are always so welcoming and wonderful! Their energy always helps me instantly relax and they are always providing recommendations to improve my experience! Today, when using the lovely infrared sauna, I tried the Halo salt therapy for the first time at Marilyn's recommendation, and I loved it! She provided me with a detailed breakdown of the benefits, purpose, and effects I may feel, and it was so neat to add this to my sauna time for free since it was Wellness Wednesday! What a fun perk!She also recommended that I add some mint tea to my cold water that I sip on while in the sauna, and it was so calming and helped me stay hydrated throughout the entire time. I'm so glad I've kept my membership for all of these year, and I'm loving the experience of using the sauna and continuing to float regularly!Thank you Urban Float for always providing such friendly customer service, a beautiful and clean spa to unwind and relax, and such a memorable experience when visiting to float or enjoy the sauna! The 5 minute neck massage after a foot massage is a nice touch. I love the recliner when getting just a foot massage. You can really just lean back and enjoy.

I have been coming to Essence of Health and seeing Piper for 2 years. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my massage therapy needs. She does an amazing job with tracking down the source of your pain and making it manageable. She also gives great tips on how to minimize "flare ups" post- massage. She makes you feel very comfortable and able to fully relax. I look forward to my massage appointments because I know we'll have great conversation and I'll leave feeling 100% better. My doctor referred me to Ryan for some acute neck and shoulder disturbances. Pain and limited range of motion. I wasn't expecting that Ryan would almost completely eliminate the problem; increasing my range of motion to the best it has been in over a year. He is like a doctor of massage. He knows exactly how to locate the problem and work through it.Amazing!!!! I have never had a more healing massage.I think you would be very hard pressed to find a better therapist. He takes enormous pride in his work and when asked how he got so good at it, he told me he studied a fifth term in school and takes personal and healing interest in sports massage therapy.

I saw Katie for my powder brows and I am so happy I did! This was my first time having PMU done. I was a little worried at first not knowing what to expect but Katie walked me through all of the steps and put me at ease. Cedars Academy 12 week Courses was absolutely amazing! I attended the makeup courses last year in January. Visiting Vancouver for the first time this weekend from Austin, Texas, and the 90-minute 26+2 class I took from Rachel was perhaps the BEST class I've taken [outside my home studio] ;-). I read the reviews before coming to the studio, and I can echo all that they tout. Hot Yoga Vancouver delivers the real deal 26+2 in a compassionate, all-inclusive manner. The owner Rachel was welcoming, friendly, and taught a crisp and precise 90-minute class. I cannot recommend this studio enough. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Couple years ago (9/2021) we hired Pilot Plumbing for both a waterline repair as well as a water heater replacement.We were very happy how everything took place -from scheduling to getting us various bid options as well as getting the actual work done .While we replaced our old water heater we also considered to install a whole house water filtration system. We decided to invest in the system as it is said to work as a conditioner for the hard water and removes any chlorine making our appliances, and especially our water heater last longer.2 years later we decided to do a service call to check on filters as well as the water heater. I recently had Mike from Park Place Plumbing out to remove all the old galvanized pipe from my 1950s home and replace it with PEX pipe as well as replace the main supply line from the street. Mike was extremely professional and the quality of work performed was excellent. Mike was on time every day and explained everything that he would be doing as well as made some other recommendations for repairs that should be done while we had the walls opened up. I thought Mikes price was very fair considering the level of work done. I will definitely be recommending Park Place Plumbing to others and would not hesitate to work with Mike again.
Dreading the cost of repairing a running toilet and a clogged toilet. True Plumbing came out the next day, on time and texted with status. I recently did a panel change/upgrade on my home with Just-In-Time.The estimator Randy was courteous, professional, and friendly. The quote was detailed, reasonably costed, and turned around quickly. It’s difficult to find trustworthy contractors but the entire experience with Just-In-Time was exceptional.Stig and Parker were our install crew and they were excellent to work with. A panel change takes most of a day. I expected to deal with a day full of frustration, set backs, and obstacles while babysitting contractors in my home, but not with these guys. They did their thing, respected our home, and got the job done right. They will be my first call with any future electrical needs.

She scheduled an appointment for the following week for a rep "Chad" to come over and give us an estimate. Chad was very professional, and gave us a quote that was more than reasonable. When I moved in, I knew I would need a roof replacement. During that homebuying process, the quote had been done through Valiant via our realtor, so we contacted Valiant and had two other quotes done when it was time to get that replacement completed.It was no contest, and Valiant did a great job. It's now 6 months since service was done, and the roof looks great and has been absolutely issue-free, shrugging off changes in weather and firework showers from 4th of July celebrations. Wow - where to begin? Vlad with Russ Construction just finished a partial bath remodel for our very old house (built in 1930's). None of the original walls were straight, the tile was (poorly) done by the previous owners, and we had no storage. The team was quick to respond to our original call, worked with us on a quote that fit our budget, and did a fantastic job. They replaced all the existing tile, added a wall in the bath and a custom linen closet. Each day they let us know when they were planning to arrive, showed up promptly, and made sure their work was done to our liking. For instance, the tile we originally selected was out of stock so Vlad provided us with various alternatives that were similar in color, price, and design. I can't imagine working with anyone else in the future for remodel needs.Services: General construction

I contacted Buena Vista after purchasing a new home. My home inspection described the roof as near end of life and my new home insurance policy required shingle replacement before I could renew the policy for the next year. After some back and forth with Buena Vista, I opted to install an entirely new roof. I also asked them to clean the gutters and brace \u0026 sister some cracked rafters in my attic. During the inspection, they also identified the lack of flashing as a possible future problem on my detached shed. Throughout the process they were extremely patient in preparing an estimate that addressed the full scope of work I wanted completed. The price for these services was very reasonable and the overall quality of materials and workmanship seems to be of very high quality. Though I concede I am not a roofer, my brief research on the Malarkey products they use suggests they are a very reputable brand in the NW and come with a lifetime warranty instead of the usual 30 year. Their office was responsive, they started and finished the work in the exact time frame they described, and they did an excellent job of removing the debris from the old roof. Many other roofing companies I got quotes from were uninterested in doing the attic repairs, but Buena Vista went above and beyond. Highly recommended.

After several interviews with other roofing companies that left me with a good number of unanswered questions, I chanced upon one of MRC Roofing’s trucks on the road and decided to give them a call. What a difference. First, I received a callback within hours and the young lady could not have been more cordial and appreciative that I had called them for a quote. An appointment was set for the next day to inspect my roof.At the appointed hour, Rafael and Rosa, owners of MRC showed up on our doorstep. In just a few minutes’ conversation, I had very, very good feelings about them. They asked great questions, Rafael got up and inspected every inch of the roof. He and Rosa told me they would have an estimate for me the very next day….and the next morning, they showed up, estimate in hand. They addressed a few more questions and showed us samples of shingles from which to make a selection.I can tell you their quote was not the lowest we had received, nor was it the highest. The contractor who had emailed me the “lower” price sent it on a company letterhead, different from the one I had called on initially for that appointment. There were literally no details, other than a few checked boxes. I emailed with questions….no response. In contrast, the contract that Rafael and Rosa prepared was absolutely thorough and professional. Once again, they ensured that we, as customers, had a complete understanding of the scope of the work they would be doing for us.The more time we spent talking with Rafael and Rosa, the better we felt about our decision to have them replace our work. On the day their crew arrived, they set straight to work removing the old shingles and tarpaper. They worked like crazy though the day (and it was a hot one), completely focused on the task. Rafael was involved throughout the installation, which was very reassuring.When finished, Rafael once again walked the entire roof to ensure that all elements of the installation were complete to his satisfaction and I must say the roof looks absolutely wonderful. We live in Granite Falls, WA and even though we were living outside the normal service area, United was willing to come out to give us a quote and test our water quality. Upon the visit, we quickly learned of their expertise also in HVAC. United was able to offer us an extremely fair price for a heat pump to add AC to our house and get a whole house leak detection installed as well as a reverse osmosis under sink system. The job was scheduled within a few days and the work was performed by a competent, respectful team that excelled in communication, responsiveness, and executing a high quality job. Even when we had a small follow up, a team member was sent all the way from Vancouver, WA to our location far in the north to ensure no stone was unturned and that we were completely satisfied. The AC on our less than 4 year old Bryant HVAC malfunctioned due to actually burning up a wire. This is the 3rd time we have had a problem with this HVAC unit (installed by builder, Holt). Discovered a yellow jacket nest in the spaces between the blocks in the retaining wall of our front yard. Called the office on a Saturday, just on the off chance maybe someone was there. Jessica answered the phone and yes, they work on Saturday, and she would check with the technician and see if he could make an unscheduled stop to address our problem. My goodness, within about 2 hours Mathew showed up and took care of our problem and checked under our eaves and discovered two more nests and knocked them down, then proceeded to make a quick check around the perimeter in search of more. Fortunately, no more nests.Cannot say enough good things about this company, they are the very best!!!!!! We recently had a basement leak due to holes in our basement wall and poor drainage. New Vista came in at a competitive price without trying to up sell or use any of the other shady negotiating tactics many drainage contractors attempted. We recently had our primary bathroom remodeled with Paliy. We are beyond thrilled with the results! This being our first home remodel, we did not know anything about the process. I hired Viktor with Provision Remodeling to hang new cement board siding on my home and remove the drywall infested LP siding which was failing and original to our home. We went through him for exterior paint as well, which he insisted on using Sherwin Williams for, as they are considered the best quality. In the process of having our home looked over to see what projects we could afford to do, we had an unpleasant surprise in finding out the previous home owners...who replaced the roof themselves...laid the roof shingles incorrectly and therefore we had swelling and imminent failure. I received quotes from four exterior siding companies, as well as six roofing companies. I could have gone with two separate companies but Viktor won my business for two reasons. He was competitive with the siding and roofing companies I was seriously considering and he was very communicative. He answered so many questions. We have never had major home repairs done. We both had family and friends pepper us with horror stories of companies giving them a reasonable price and then tacking on thousands in charges at the end. I probably drove him a little nutty with all my concerns before we agreed to sign the contract. Then, after we signed, we added on work we hadn't realized needed to be done as well. For one, I thought the rubber trim wood around garage doors was part of the siding. It is not. Ours was in need of replacement. Our exterior outlets were outdated and out of code, as they were original to the house...twenty-five years ago. We asked for our bathroom exhaust fans to be replaced, which were accessed via the attic and that led to finding out our master bath vent was never even hooked up...just a fan box buried in insulation. That answered why we kept having motors burn out every two to three years. There was trim replacement which was unplanned for as well. There were a couple of delays, but Viktor was always responsive and reassuring when those happened and the work was not only done but done so well I've had multiple people, in the neighborhood, comment on the quality of the final job. His employees are friendly and patient with my curious George mind...asking about every little thing, as I just never stop asking how things work. He even went above and beyond. I ordered a new sliding patio door from a door company he works with all the time and when they were not communicative, Viktor followed up with them to find out what was going on. The additional charges for the work added after contract signing was very reasonable. I am fully confident in my recommendation of Viktor and his team. They are perfectionists, professional, patient, communicative, and friendly. I am very happy I chose to give Provision Remodeling my business and would do so again.
It's 2022, which means it was im-poss-ible to get a roofing contractor to call me back about a small roofing job I needed done for a property I was selling. Except Martin at New Legacy, who picked up the phone and came by the property within three days. I manage the property remotely, so he provided clear videos of our roof situation. We had an extremely difficult tree removal job which this company excelled at accomplishing! Three HUGE trees in a corner of a backyard which was difficult to access and involved not damaging a fence, a rock retaining wall, a stone walkway, and many plants. The owners were careful in all aspects of their work, and cleaned up each evening beyond expectations, to the point of replacing a gate nightly which had to be removed to access equipment to the area! Yard was cleaned up each night! They also cleaned up neighbors backyards which had some branches, etc fall into their yard.Daryl and crew also did a wonderful job at trimming some large fir and cedar trees in our yard!! A few months ago, we had our bathroom tile floor and shower cleaned and sealed; glass partition recaulked; wall/floor seams recaulked; and grout lines painted. Our kitchen counters also received a new caulk application. Bret did an excellent job on the color matching and application of the caulk in both the bathroom and the kitchen. Revivify warrants their sealer for 5 yrs. and caulking for 1 yr. and I can attest that they honor their warranties. A spot of mold appeared on the shower caulk shortly after the job was completed and Bret returned to take care of it immediately.

Linton of Linton Carpets is the best. He has done 2 jobs for us. The first, last spring, was to install new padding, repair and restretch our carpet because of water damage in our house. His wife resewed a carpet seam as part of the work and you would not know it had ever been damaged.He came out just last week to clean the carpet and fix a couple previous tears; again a perfect job. In addition, I had gotten overspray on the carpet after spray painting the fireplace. I honestly did not think it would come out, but Linton took care of it.He’s a good guy, honest and does really excellent work. I would not use anyone else for my carpet needs.
I want to start off by saying this company is very responsive and accommodating. We hired L&L Carpet Care to do our living room today ( memorial day ) which I didn't think would be available, but it was and they were even 20 minutes early! ? the carpet looks great on the surface, but I vacuumed after the carpets were fully dry, this is what it still picked up... also, the carpet feels a little gummy, like it's still dirty. I'm not sure if it was just so dirty that it needs a second treatment..? I'll be hiring them again for the rest of my house and to re-do the living room.

I very highly recommend Dr. Cantanese. I originally went to the clinic for some nervous system/emotional grounding and this took a couple of sessions. I mentioned that I have had hip pain for just over a year and we decided to work on that as well. My hip felt better after one session and after two, it currently has NO pain. I didn't even know this was possible. The treatment is amazing, but the doctor also has a warm, calming, and incredibly supportive presence that makes the process a joy.

I told her my concerns and she didn't pressure me at all and left it up to me. We talked more about what would help reduce my anxiety doing it. This helped me come to the conclusion to try it since she was so willing to accommodate to my needs. I have done it once now and I had a totally different experience than before. I am now going back for another acupuncture appointment with a lot less anxiety! I would definitely recommend her!

I have been receiving chiropractic services here for over a year. The doctors ask questions and do seem to care about their patients. Unlike some other chiropractors, each exam is at least 10 minutes long. I feel better after each adjustment.The front desk staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

I have been to so many chiropractors in my lifetime but I was unsatisfied with the care they provided; once I stepped into this office, Dr Lori and her staff made me feel like family and they took such good care of me. This chiropractor convinced me to stick with my treatment for a few weeks rather than coming in when I was "in pain." The difference was night and day. My neck and back symptoms are far less noticeable and I'm much happier. I'm very happy with Dr. Halcumb. He is so knowledgeable of sports injuries and physiology. Plus he spends so much more time with you than most chiropractors. He does lots of soft tissue work before your adjustment which I find very helpful in getting a better adjustment. Add in the massage therapy and you can't go wrong.
Dr. Pettet is extremely quick and effective. The front desk staff is always extremely kind and helpful.

I have gone to Sabrina for regular cleanings for years and she is absolutely wonderful. She is always smiling and fun and I never stress out about that occasional painful "zing" because she is so great at sensitive teeth. Before going to her I had some pretty uncomfortable appointments and I always feel so relaxed and have such a great experience there. The entire staff there has amazing customer service and care.
Dr. Roman and his staff literally changed and perfected my entire smile. I actually have a real genuine smile now! I needed major work, but he made it seem like no problem, he says "I got you!" He is kind, gentle and firendly! He tells you what he is doing and what is to come. He cares about what the patient wants to do and tells you your options. His assistants and hygenist are so nice and always make me feel welcome. I never have to wait either, even when traffic makes me late! This place is amazing! Both my cats were calm during their exam. Everyone they came in contact with today was gentle and supportive of how the cats were feeling.
I can't say enough good things about cascade park vet. We traveled from Yakima for their expertise with our bulldog. They found and diagnosed things out normal vet wouldn't have even looked for. But we mainly brought her to get her cherry eye fixed, which the vets in Yakima do not have a good track record with. After the first check up we thought part of her eyelid would have to be revised (taken off) cause it was rolling back into her eyes as well. But once Dr Kitchens did the cherry eyes surgery she could tell that it was just inflammation and it would recover on its own with out needing to take more tissue. When I tell you that my normal vet would not have caught this I really mean it. I am so thankful for Dr Kitchens and her staff and their attention to detail and always wanting to put the patient first and not just take the easy and quick way out. Yes it was more expensive then what we might have paid in Yakima but it was worth every penny for the cherry eye surgery to work and our bull dog to also be spayed and be cared for so well by a team that really puts in their all. I had such peace of mind having a more fragile breed like a bulldog under their care. She recovered with no complications and has a beautiful face! It was worth every penny. I only wished I lived in the area so I could take all of my dogs to Dr Kitchens.

Such a beautiful and gracious visit today. Brought two senior kitties in to have lots of stuff done as they haven’t received care for most of their 15 year old lives, and their owner recently died.I was not charged for the nail trimmings because there was compassion in abundance today. ??I had to put the kitties brother dog down last week as well, so $1700 later I’ll take a comped nail clipping. I’m so happy I decided to start training lessons with Julie for our 6 year old pup. I had a list of items I needed help training. Our dog had developed anxiety and I wanted to find a way to help her feel more relaxed in our own home. Just after 1 lesson I learned so much and was able to start working with our dog. We have finished our 5 at home lessons and there is a huge noticeable difference in our dog! If anyone is looking for a great dog trainer, give Julie a call. The owner is such a caring person. Our cats struggle with transition quite a bit and can become very stressed in a short period of time. She worked with both us and our cats to help them feel safer and more comfortable. When we dropped our cats off they hissed and acted aggressive toward her. By the end of our cats stay, they were both calm. She was even able to pet one of them! She then gave us tips on how to work with our cats so they feel less stressed in new environments.
My little miss marigold loves her daycare days here. I also appreciate the occasional pictures they take since they don't have live cams to watch your pup playing.

I absolutely love this place! The same person grooms my dog every time I bring him in. It's calm and not filled with barking dogs. This is the only place I've taken my dog and he never seems stressed or anxious when I pick him up.

Today, an accident happened at home which involved my new young kitty being too curious in the kitchen, and ended up with some cooled grease on his body. I called to see if they had any appointments available for a kitten bath on a Saturday, likely a busy day. They offered a time to come in, and my cat and I were able to make it to the time they requested!Though I was worried he wouldn't react well to water, he apparently did very well with the groomer, Roxy! Roxy went over the services my cat would have, and she listened to my requests. I greatly appreciated the attention to detail.When he was ready for pick up, he was softer than before. I didn't think that was possible!Thank you Rainy Day and Roxy! I hope the next time we come won't be because of an accident???

I have an Aussie that gets very nervous. Cindy came and took her time to get to know him before taking him into her van. She worked with my request for his cut. I heard him vocalizing to her a couple of times but he made it unscathed He looks great and he was wagging his tail when she brought him to the door. I will definitely have her trim him up again and would highly recommend her.

When our rowhouse discovered we had long standing dry rot issues under our porches we contacted a number of contractors to submit proposals. Decco had the best price of the contractors that understood the scope of the work. Unfortunately the damage was much more extensive once the project was begun and the porches were opened up. While this was not good news Nik and Demetrie made sure we were kept involved every step of the way, showing us what they found and how the problems could be addressed. Throughout the project they did a great job controlling costs but making sure we would be 100% structurally sound.Because of the hidden damage the project took longer than planned but they did an unbelievable job of working with individual households to accommodate a variety of schedules and concerns.Based on the way they handled this very challenging project I would absolutely hire Nik and Demetire again and highly recommend them to others.Service: Remodeling
