Chad and his crew at Home Painters Pro painted my house in downtown Toronto last month. They showed up when they said they would, prepped the surfaces properly, and didn't leave any mess. Located in Koreatown (closer to Christie Station), Cinderella Hair Salon has been in business for over 16 years with the main hairstylist and owner, Hyang Mi. The salon is located on the second floor via a flight of stairs. She was able to accommodate for a cut and wash walk-in on the same day in her busy schedule. Do note, haircuts and washes are two separate services with individual charges.
During the appointment, Hyang Mi was very professional and had extensive hair care knowledge. It was a pleasant atmosphere with lovely conversations and attentive service. We felt well-cared for and appreciated Hyang Mi's attention to detail in styling their hair, which showcased her passion for her work. We had a positive experience and would come back again.

Tash has a small shop on Queens Quay. It is clean and the chair is comfortable. This was my first visit, but I was greeted warmly like I was a long time client, seated immediately and asked what type of cut I wanted. I asked for a 0.5 buzz cut. Tash was efficient and thorough and the conversation was fun and interesting. This is exactly what I want in a barbershop experience. The cost was good and I appreciate that a buzz cut is slightly less than a full hair cut which a lot of downtown places don't do. Perfect experience and I would recommend to anyone.

Melody and Maddie were absolutely amazing. They were both so warm, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere in the salon was relaxed and welcoming, which made getting ready even more enjoyable.
I have very fine, short hair, and I was honestly amazed by what Melody was able to do. She added some clip-in extensions I brought and created a beautiful hairstyle that looked completely natural and lasted all day. It exceeded my expectations!
Maddie was also incredibly talented with makeup. We had both gotten spray tans beforehand, and she perfectly matched our makeup to our skin tones so everything looked flawless and natural. She also applied the most comfortable false lashes I’ve ever worn—I couldn’t even feel them, and they stayed on perfectly all day and night.

I used the stand-up with the centre leg tanner and it was honestly one of the best tanning experiences I’ve had in a long time. The attention to detail, the quality of the equipment, and the overall atmosphere make this place stand out from the typical salon experience.
And let’s talk about the Convex ? The only salon with this bed. That alone says a lot about the level Dimitri operates on.

Amazing service. They offered tea and water which was a nice gesture. They kept checking up on me to make sure I was comfortable and had no concerns. My nails turned out stunning. Shaping was excellent. Nails holding up very well after 3 weeks.
This was my first time visiting this salon, and overall I had a really great experience. I had old acrylic removed from my natural nails and had bio gel applied. I ended up going with a medium stiletto shape and a simple pink colour.
At first, I wasn’t completely sure about the pink shade that was applied. When the nail technician, Tina, asked what I thought, she immediately noticed my hesitation and brought out three different pink shades. She tested each one on my nail and helped me choose the perfect colour — the one she recommended ended up being my favourite.
Tina was incredibly kind and truly an expert when it came to shaping. I have to say, this is one of my favourite sets I’ve ever had. She shaped my nails exactly how I wanted them, and they look amazing.
The cuticle area wasn’t done, but I didn’t specifically ask for a full manicure, so that’s on me — I’ll just be sure to request cuticle work next time as an additional service. Overall, I’m very happy with my nails and will definitely be going back.

First time client today - booked a last minute local Thai massage looking for some relief from a week of fatigue and tension.
Nana got me changed into shorts and lied down right away, and the the one hour Thai massage began which started with a warm towel to my feet, walking on my hips, hamstrings, calves (she was so mindful of her pressure, deep as I wanted but just before it was too much - excellent) and proceeded to my back neck and arms. Then massaged deeper using oil and elbows into my traps, did front chest work after turning over, and ended with some deep stretches as well for my front and back. Got some deep cracks from my lumbar spine too which felt amazing.
Overall, fell asleep halfway because it was so relaxing and my body and mind felt totally relaxed after.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a deep tissue ashiatsu walking on back massage!! Will be back for sure.

It's also my first time trying LED cured lighting to glue vs the traditional way and I must say, I am never going back! It's been a lash game changer and my eyes are no longer irritated by the glue used. I highly recommend!!

A wonderful discovery. I've been eyeing this place for a while but never actually made the effort to go. This year I have been twice. First time really nervous but the second time was simply amazing. I just thought to myself, I'm not here to be judged, just to enjoy. I booked a 90 min massage with Joa I know that isn't really the correct spelling but in English his name is John and it was just so relaxing and tranquill. 90 mins of being rubbed and stroked. Heaven. I simply drifted. Next came Marco for a pubic trim and although nervous at first I managed to relax just 2 mins into the treatment. He did a thorough job and I was happy with the outcome. The environment is clean and smells nice. Highly recommended to all the guys out there who want to surrender themselves for a while and feel blissful.

For the scrub, you will come out baby soft and it will last for days. Had a great experience. I got a custom tattoo with Janet and the communication on the design was quick and smooth. The design went through a few iterations where after a free phone consultation and emails I got a design I love. Everything was very clean and safe which was a big priority for me. In addition the staff were very talkative and fun which made the 3 hours fly by.
My mom and I did a late night walk in tattoo sesh with Luis and Hao and they were both very nice and such talented artists! 10/10 experience and would definitely come back!!

Marcello from 3E Electrical really goes above and beyond to make sure things are done the right way. I had a tricky, non-straight forward wiring issue, and instead of just doing a quick fix, he really took the time to troubleshoot and make sure everything was done correctly. He explains everything in plain English so you actually understand what’s going on, and when a minor issue popped up a couple of weeks later, he came right back to take care of it. I wouldn't hesitate to use 3E electrical again for any future electrical work (already a repeat customer ).

Really happy with the work Trevor and his team completed in my century old home. We needed to replace all of the knob and tube wiring and upgrade our panel. David is a through professional and above all, he is a BEST human being. The world needs people like him. Today, February 16, 2025, evening when the whole GTA is under snowstorm, my tenants called to complain about power failure in the house. I panicked and searched for licensed electricians. I had called about a dozen of them and finally got a hold of David. I mentioned the issue and he voluntarily said he might be able to fix the issue by having a Face Time call with my tenants. I didn't believe it first but I insisted him going in person and I was willing to pay him whatever the charge is. On a second thought, I said ok, try FaceTime and if it doesn't work out, please go in to do the work. He agreed to do so and within few minutes, he was able to fix it through FaceTime. For the work, he asked me to donate the fees to SickKids. Not many people do this these days!
I immediately donated $200 to SickKids Hospital. I'm forever thankful for his services and I'm going to be giving him a big job to do in my house. He is such a GENTLEMAN and a REAL PROFESSIONAL!

Contacted Octopus Royal Appliance Repair on a recommendation to repair our dishwasher. Ofer had to come back several times as we waited for parts, etc and he was always here when he said he would be, even on short notice. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my questions. We will definitely be using Octopus again for any of our appliance issues!

I have a 2009 Moto Guzzi motorcycle and needed a key cloned. I could not find anywhere in Vancouver to do it. I brought my original key with me to Toronto recently and found PC Farm Inc. (FobCopy) on Google Maps. For $100 they found the right key, copied it and cloned it. This is after I had spent about $400 on Amazon and Ebay getting keys, having them cut and getting no where with cloning. When I am next in Toronto, I am bringing a pile of car and other motorcycle keys with me and taking them here to be cut and cloned. I would highly recommend this place!

Nick and Wendy arrived and got right to work. They efficiently surveyed what was going to be cleaned and pre treated those areas. They started at the top and worked their way down three flights and cleaned up as they proceeded. They were obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. They were friendly and informative. We would use this company again.

MacEachern’s has been servicing our carpets at my company in downtown Toronto (CSI/Moodys) for 27+ years over a couple moves. I got some numbers and they’ve serviced us a whopping 865 times!
To say they’ve been one of my most reliable vendors would be an understatement. Their service is seamless and so behind the scenes one forgets they’re there. You almost start to take them for granted!
Besides the stellar service and adaptable scheduling, they understand that accidents occur which need a last second rescue and they’ve always helped me out - through dozens and dozens of coffee spills (other employees, not me) and with unidentified stains that need removal. One stain from a major leak years ago had them making frequent trips as they would remove the stain, wait for it to return (as pesky stains tend to do) and work to remove it again. I trusted DeepSteam so much that when executives in my office commented on it, I could confidently tell them it was being taken care of. It took a few visits but the stain was removed and never reappeared again. I was sure to take most of the credit, even though it was only thanks to DeepSteam and their diligent staff and equipment.
Lesley at Deepsteam has been a gem. Excellent customer service, personable, and extremely reliable. Always there to remedy a scheduling request, clarify an invoice, and never forgets to remind us (me) of an upcoming cleaning. Louis suffers from IVDD flare-ups, and after his most recent episode, we brought him in for treatment. My fur baby Bonecrusher had an incident during the night where she was limping and hiding, in visible pain and I could tell she was in serious pain, as soon as as her regular vet office opened I called to let them know I was bringing her in for her first ever emergency visit, that vet said they were booked for the next seven days and I’d have to wait.
That’s when I decided to find a new veterinary office and luckily for Bonecrusher I found College Street Animal Hospital.
They took her in within an hour of me calling them, the staff are incredibly kind, friendly and informative, the doctor was perfect. She was very gentle with my little furry friend and quickly gained her trust.
Long story short here is that Cusher is now fine, turned out to be a sprain and she’s back to her old self thanks to her new vet office at College Street Animal Hospital.
I recently brought my stubborn Olde English Bulldogge (Ripley♥) to Metro Animal Hospital for a check-up, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care and service we received. As the owner of a non-aggressive but reactive dog, veterinary visits can often be stressful and unpredictable. The entire team went above and beyond to make the experience as comfortable as possible for both of us.
The veterinary staff were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient. They took the time to work at my dog’s pace, without rushing her or making her feel overwhelmed. Their calm and understanding approach helped ease her anxiety and allowed the examination to be completed with minimal stress. It was clear that they genuinely cared about her well-being and were experienced in handling dogs with unique behavioral challenges.
I was equally impressed by the administrative staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and exceptionally kind. They treated both my dog and me with compassion and respect, making what could have been a difficult visit feel much more manageable. Their professionalism, excellent communication, and genuine concern for their clients truly stood out.

I had a great experience at this vet clinic. The staff were kind and respectful, and the vet was wonderful with my dog. I even brought a muzzle just in case he got nervous or barked, but he was completely calm with her — which honestly shocked me. She was gentle, patient, and amazing with him. Highly recommend.

I've only visited this vet once so far for my cats' annual checkups, and that experience was good; The vet was professional and made good suggestions for improving their quality of life and avoiding repeats of past health issues.
Where I'm really grateful is how they handle questions that I'm not sure about. They're always willing to look at photos via email, and will get one of the medical staff to follow up with recommendations. Including whether or not the current situation warrants a visit. It saves everyone time, and leaves appointments for the animals who really need them. It's a really great system.
They're a little more expensive than other vets in the area, as of late 2025 when I checked, but absolutely worth it in my opinion. Thanks again Jane Animal Hospital!
May 28,26- We had a great experience at Village Gate Animal Hospital with Milo. The staff were kind, professional, and took the time to make sure Milo was comfortable and well cared for. Staff is friendly and punctual on appointments. The owner has had knowledge of our dogs hair style. We have 2 giant schnauzer and a standard schnauzer. When they are done at this place they look properly taken care. We have been using them for years.

Both Kelsey & Jim deserve all the praise they get for their dedication to the Barkingham Pack … the doggies are always looking so relaxed and happy while at the day care . Zorro waits every morning to jump in the car to get to see his friends ! He definitely seems to have a lot of fun and is quite pitted when we pick him up . Kelsey takes great pains to get beautiful and action pictures of the pack, it must be a chore to do it every day but she manages to surprise us with awesome shots . Both of us and Zorro are fortunate to have found such caring individuals who truly are devoted to the pack. Thank you Kelsey and Jim for taking such great care of not just Zorro but the entire Barkingham Pack ? we are also thankful for the overnight stays for Zorro while we travel.
After trying so many different grooming salons for my dogs, I can honestly say I’ve finally found the right one! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the salon is spotless, cozy, and has a relaxing atmosphere for both pets and their owners.
There is plenty of parking, which makes drop-off and pick-up so easy. My dogs received a full grooming, and their haircuts turned out absolutely beautiful—exactly what I was hoping for. You can really tell they care about the quality of their work and treat every dog with love and patience.
On top of that, their pricing is very reasonable for the excellent service they provide. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely be bringing my dogs back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a caring and professional grooming salon! 🐾💕

Good experience at My Dear Puppy in downtown Toronto! I took my white Pomeranian for a full grooming session, and the groomer was very patient, kind, and detail-oriented. She spent over two hours making sure everything was done perfectly.
The result was very good and my dog looked clean, happy, and beautifully groomed. Prices are also quite reasonable for the quality.

We had an elderly dog who used to get very stressed anywhere we took him, so finding the right grooming place meant a lot to us. Even though this place was quite far from our home, we kept bringing him here because of how kind, patient, and caring everyone was. They always made both us and our dog feel comfortable and welcomed. You can really tell they genuinely care about animals, especially older dogs who need extra patience and attention. I love Modo Yoga at Chester. The hot yoga keeps me sane in the winter and always leaves me feeling better. I’ve never left a class regretting it.
I have been going to the Pilates classes at Toronto Yoga Co for 3 years and i love it! The instructors are great, the space is a good size, and the reformer classes can only have 6 people so the instructor can actually pay attention to everyone.
I was in Toronto for a few days looking for a down to earth yoga experience with heated classes and blue canoe delivered! Each teacher was excellent and unique in their style. My highlight was the live Tibetan bowl experience while moving in a zen flow with teacher Grant.
I came with my friends today and absolutely love it. We have lots of fun with the puppies today and I don’t remember doing any Yoga. ?

I’ve been coming to Body Harmonics for a while now and love the studio and instructors. I was a newbie at Pilates but each instructor has been patient and gentle with their corrections. I have always felt comfortable in each class and look forward to the next! Great studio with great staff! I highly recommend Body Harmonics!
Rachel Dsouza is a top notch physiotherapist. The thing I like best about being Rachel's patient is the way she integrates all other treatments with the physio: what I am doing that was recommended by my GP, my fitness trainer and any other modalities I am using. She is patient, friendly and provides detailed written or video instructions for anything the patient does at home.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Chris is a pro and a gem of a human. Had my massage from Darlene today and she has a very intuitive and healing touch will DEFINITELY return! This is my new spot.

I started seeing Ritu for lower back sciatic and pinch nerve pain, as well as restricted mobility in my neck. Before Ritu, I couldn’t go from sitting on the floor to standing up without pain. Also, my neck was in able to turn with VERY limited range (I couldn’t not turn my neck to check blind spots while driving). Osteopathy has helped me with resolving all these issues. I can now turn my neck to check blind spots and go from sitting to standing without pain. Ritu is kind and knowledgeable, and I always leave feeling much more mobile and significantly less pain. I look forward to my monthly appointment with Ritu!

Ken is honestly one of the best masseuses I’ve had. He’s really skilled at finding the tight spots and easing them without making anything feel rushed or uncomfortable. Super professional, calm energy, and you walk out feeling lighter. Definitely recommend him.

I had lymphatic massage and cosmetic acupuncture sessions with Ekaterina, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She is very calm, kind, and professional, and she has such a peaceful energy that you can feel throughout the whole treatment.
Her hands are truly magical. She knows exactly how much pressure to apply, and every time I leave my session, I feel deeply relaxed, light, and refreshed. I usually stay awake during massages, but even during my facial massage with her, I somehow fell asleep because I felt so comfortable and relaxed.
This review is not based on just one session. I have already had five sessions with Ekaterina, and I will definitely continue going back. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, skilled, and calming therapist.

I went to City RMT because I had lost mobility in my left shoulder. The constant pain interfered with my activities and sleep.
After much research I made an appointment with Alper.
Alper is kind and the space he works in is very calm, soothing and clean. As Alper worked on the targeted area he explained what was the problem and what he was doing to help.
I have had 3 more sessions and pleased with the progress. I have increased mobility in the arm and the pain has mostly gone.
I would definitely say 5 stars.

I just had my first ever massage and it was such an incredible experience. The location is very clean and the environment was very relaxing. The front desk staff were welcoming and made the whole experience feel effortless. My RMT Olivia was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I started to work with Suzie and Andre after receiving a diagnosis of severe osteoarthritis in my left hip and mild in my right hip. Together, we worked at preserving my left joint while awaiting a replacement, and at strengthening my right joint. I joined the GLA:D program (for osteoarthritic knees and hips) and received Gunn IMS (a needling procedure aimed at reducing muscle tension and spasm). This was all very helpful. Now that my left hip has been replaced, I have the tools to manage my recovery and rehabilitation, and to preserve both hips long term. If I could go back in time, I would have connected with Suzie and Andre sooner. Thank you both!

David Bray was my Chinese herbal and acupuncture specialist for years. It was a shocking loss of an expert, talented practitioner.

I actually ended up here by accident—I was planning to eat at Damda when I saw Susie's acupuncture place. I had a right hip strain and was having a hard time walking, so I figured, why not give acupuncture a try?
It was my first time, and it honestly didn't hurt at all! She started with acupuncture on my right hip and leg, then did cupping. She also used a warm red light that felt really relaxing and finished with a light massage.
Overall, I left feeling so much better and could already tell a difference in my walking. I came in limping, and by the end of the session I was moving much more comfortably. The whole appointment took less than an hour, and I'm really glad I decided to walk in.

My son had a good driving experience with his instructor, Mokammel. He was professional and thoughtful in sharing what works in helping my son remember the rules of the road. The lessons were punctural and organized.

After going through hiring and firing of 5 different instructors I had no expectations to say the least when I approached Globe Driving. Only goal was to obtain my G2 on a tight timeline. I must say was pleasantly surprised with my experience and not to mention got my license in first attempt. Reza was my instructor who is extremely patient and caters his teaching strategies as per your learning ability and delivers his critiques in a positive way which helps the student to stay focused on learning as opposed to getting demotivated. Speaking from personal experience he might be a bit busy and needs to work around the schedule but trust me guys worth the wait and time.
Update Jun 2026- I decided to return to Globe driving school for my G license and this time I was assigned to Mr Niazy. I truly appreciate his professional yet approachable style that made the learning experience lot more easy and meaningful and I was able to obtain my license quickly as I was on a time crunch due to license expiration within a month. He was also very flexible and understanding of my schedule. I would highly recommend him and the school for future students.

Ronald is an excellent instructor. Over the course of one month with regular lessons I went from very afraid and a poor driver to passing my road test on the first try. My parents have commented that I have become a much safer driver, and they now feel comfortable having me drive on the road with my g2. I would strongly recommend Ronald to anyone interested in driving lessons!
I was a student at Honours and my driving instructor was Zack. I came here to get lessons in prep for my G test and he was the best driving instructor I couldve asked for- he was patient, nice, and gave great advice all throughout! I passed my G test on my first try and I highly recommend coming here if you’re learning to drive.

I just passed my G road test today.My experience with Ken is excellent. I took G-preparation with him. He let me spent a lot of time on the highway ( DVP and Gardiner express) over and over so I have confident to do land changes smoothly and merging on the highway smoothly.I really recommend Ken to be your instructor. He does have a strong Chinese accent, but I understood everything that said and taught me
