I have been seeing June the last couple of years and now my hair is far healthier and easier to care for. Cuts last much longer because I understand how, why and what my hair needs, thanks to June's immense volume of knowledge. There is a lot to take in but every visit you absorb more information, building on a foundation of individualized care.
Her methods are different (ie. arrive with freshly washed and dry hair so she can focus on what you can't - the cut) so be ready because if you want ongoing beautiful hair, she is worth-every-penny.

I called and instantly felt this was the place by the warm greeting I received when I mentioned I'm not from the area and I would like to make an appointment. After a few questions of the service I was looking for and what time would suit me I was offered an appointment with Mariam (not going lie I was a little nervous after not having my hair done by anyone other than my stylist of over 20 yrs, but after meeting Mariam I instantly felt comfortable) Mariam NAILED it. If I have the pleasure of returning to the area I will definitely be sure to schedule again with Mariam.

Randezvous barber shop is conveniently located on 309 Queen Street, right by John Street and Queen Street. My undercut and design was done by Issa.I passed by this place quite a few times and even though that I didn’t have an appointment they were able to do my hair moreover matched me with a barber who would do the style I wanted. They offered me beverages few times during my visit however in my opinion it would be tricky drinking it while getting a haircut.
I am extremely happy with my cut and services they offer. Issa is professional, well mannered young man who listened to what I wanted and delivered while carrying on conversation on various topics from life, sports, interesting world destinations and so on.

Booked an appointment for a cut with anyone available at the shop, ended up getting Patrick as my barber. Phenomenal cut, the nicest dude, super fast, clean, great fade. The shop is very clean and well kept. The price is super reasonable considering the area. Best cut and the best value in the area. There are other barber shops in the area that will charge double the price and the barber will freestyle on your head. Highly recommend this place.

I definitely found my nail salon after a long time searching in my neighborhood.
Essential beauty bar is the only place I ever go to to get my nails done. The quality of their work is amazing, my nails always last for as long as I want them too (before they grow out too long or I get tired of them, which is around 3-4 weeks). The staff are incredibly friendly and care about what they do; I see them fixing peoples nails if it breaks too early, they even take the time to reply to people’s Google comments, just shows how much they care. Thank you Mary + team for always taking care of me! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my nails :)
The first time I was here, Raven completed my pedicure and did an amazing job. The second time I was here, Lilly did my pedicure. She did a good job with the nail filing, cuticle care, and massage but the gel polish application was not well done. A portion of my nails were not covered, she put too many layers of polish so they were very thick, and was using her own nails to clean up the polish that went on my skin. They informed me because I did not like how the gel polish was applied, they can re-do it for me at no extra cost. Nicola was the one who removed my gel polish and re-applied it, both of which she did an amazing job on. I will definitely continue coming here every month for my pedicures.
Have tried quite a few places for nails in the area and finally visited Ananeke twice so far and absolutely love the service and the care taken to get nails.
First service for nails with overlay was from Kausela, she was great and made sure nails were perfect. Also had pedicure which was from sandeep. Prices are almost the same in comparison to other places in the area. Getting an appointment is quick.
Today Kelly did the refill, and she took the time to listen what was needed and did a great job. Totally a must visit and go to place for nails.

I've been doing my lash extensions at Perfection Laboratory Midtown for quite some time now, and a review is passed overdue. I keep coming back for Stela, she is amazing. My lashes last for weeks, though she is very gentle in the process, you can barely feel she's working diligently on your closed eyes. And the results are always great. I strongly recommend them, I've tried out a few lash extensions places before but Perfection Laboratory is the best out there. Hence, I keep coming back...and it's been over a year now.

First time client today - booked a last minute local Thai massage looking for some relief from a week of fatigue and tension.
Nana got me changed into shorts and lied down right away, and the the one hour Thai massage began which started with a warm towel to my feet, walking on my hips, hamstrings, calves (she was so mindful of her pressure, deep as I wanted but just before it was too much - excellent) and proceeded to my back neck and arms. Then massaged deeper using oil and elbows into my traps, did front chest work after turning over, and ended with some deep stretches as well for my front and back. Got some deep cracks from my lumbar spine too which felt amazing.
Overall, fell asleep halfway because it was so relaxing and my body and mind felt totally relaxed after.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a deep tissue ashiatsu walking on back massage!! Will be back for sure.

I don't know what an exfoliation or deep cleansing or biomechanical massage mean, but she's been a longtime client of this place, so sure, let's do this. Beauty Unlimited is located right across Bathurst station so is convenient to get to. It's in an office type building but once you step into their space, you're in a different world. It has the look and feel and vibe of a spa but the equipment and treatment menu that make you realize this is more than just a pampering session. It being my first time, Inga was very patient with me: she did an initial diagnosis, made recommendations without being pushy, walked me through each treatment as they were happening, and warned me when I could feel a potential pinch here and there. She then gave me tips on how to maintain things on my own, and sent me off into the world of skin care. Overall a relaxing, informative and effective experience. I'm a newbie but my skin and I definitely recommend this place.

He understood my concerns of having a tattoo on my "mature" skin and was very patience with me to choose the best placement. He did an excellent job. The studio is bright and light and has a good vibe, and the staff is very kind and respectful.

I called Anta at 10:30AM and a service man was at my house by 12:45. He neatly and efficiently repaired a leaking basin drain and replaced the gasket on a leaking one piece toilet (it’s very heavy). The bill seemed hefty at $562 +tax but I couldn’t have asked for more timely or better service. I haven’t hired a plumber for some time so I may be out of touch.

Toronto Hydro gave us an action form, we needed an insulator bracket re-attached to our ext. Wall. Called Ontime electric and Sean answered immediately. He was very helpful with the whole process. It was a bit stressful for us as it required the power being disconnected/reconnected at the service pole, but Sean was a great help getting us through the process. He did a great job with the repair and addressed the issue promptly. Definitely recommend.

This place was awesome from when I was given the time of arrival (2 hour window). The technician that came was polite at the door told me the company name and his name and handed me their business card.He asked me if we have had this type of cleaning done before "steam". Explained that it's actually hot water extracting spraying a cleaner on the carpet & upholstery ahead of time then going over it with the machine. He showed me the dirty water at the end before dumping it down the toilet. Would HIGHLY recommend them .

M2 is my favourite tile store! They have such a great selection, different from so many other places I’ve looked. Martin and Rashad did such an excellent job with my soundproofing window inserts for my condo, I was delighted to hire them again to install custom-sized composite wooden decking on my balcony! They are highly professional, on-time, and most importantly friendly. They worked through an unfortunate rainstorm with no complaints (we hung out in my living room for a while to wait for the worst to pass). They executed my vision expertly and with a very high degree of detail (they meticulously cut the decking to fit perfectly around every edge and railing pillar on my balcony). I recently purchased a house and wanted to utilize a local shop to replace the basement carpet, and convert the carpeted stairs to a runner instead. David did an incredible job polishing the existing slab in the basement of our 1970's home. As he explained, "it's a mining experiment" and you don't know what you're going to get. But he really worked hard and focused on areas that would bring out more interest in the floor. And in the end it looks absolutely beautiful. A really nice sheen with quite some nice variation in it.Our floor had tons of cracks, and David did a really amazing job filling them and then finishing them in such a way that they almost camoflauge. We expressed an interest in the process, so he explained the various stages as he went and showed us the progress as it evolved. He worked efficiently every day and completed it on schedule (and was also so understanding and accommodating as our own schedule constantly changed due to other trades!). We ask for a quote online over the weekend because we thought there were termites in our backyard (we also attached a photo for them), and we received a call on Monday morning. Shortly after moving into a new home, we discovered a live infestation. After doing some google searching, I came across BugsRUs, and I called them. Michael was very pleasant to talk to. He stopped by for a visit and confirmed that it was an ongoing issue. Within two days after calling, Michael booked us in and performed the treatment as we had discussed. He also gave us some really good tips on how to make sure this doesn't happen again. Michael's baiting system is cheap and effective, and can be DIY'ed. Overall, I was very satisfied with the work that Michael did, as well as providing advice. He is responsive and answers the phone when I call. Every homebuyer in the GTA should get a pest inspection done by Michael, way better and informative than the typical home inspections people are used to!

I had found and killed what looked like a bed bug, so I called this team for an inspection. They were available the next day. I chose the dog inspection and even though it's more expensive, I think it is totally worth it because it gives me peace of mind (especially if eggs are hard to see). My technician Shaharyar was SUPER thorough. He and the dog inspected all likely hiding spots as well as places I personally was nervous about; he didn't dismiss or ignore any of my suggestions for places to inspect. We ended up finding an exoskeleton but no live bugs or eggs, thankfully! Shaharyar also answered all my questions about bed bugs and gave me advice on how to reduce risk of future occurrences. I am very happy with the service for their professionalism, timeliness, and thorough care.

My front steps (made out of concrete) at the entrance to my townhouse needed to be replaced. They were weathered and sloping to one side. I saw that my neighbour had his steps redone in stone and they looked great. I spoke to John at Stone Feather Landscapes about having the work done at my place and he provided me with an estimate. He completed the work in a timely manner and always cleaned up at the end of each day. His work is excellent and the new stone steps have greatly improved the look of the entrance to my home. We desperately needed new steps for the front of our house and heard about this company who were recommended to us through a friend who's also a realtor. Domenic came over and gave us a quote and showed us some pics of what he had done at other houses. Its was just before Christmas and we were lucky that the weather was so mild that he was able to come in and do the work the following day! It took a day longer to finish only because he had somehow miscalculated his measurements but he took responsibility for his mistake and swallowed the costs which I have NEVER heard of a contractor doing before. The end result was that we have a new set of beautiful steps at the front of our house that we are very happy with!

I can’t say enough positive comment about James and Vista Tree. We were “ghosted” by 2 other tree management companies last fall. James came by and provided separate quotes for two very large trees on our property, both of which were a challenge to severely prune. They were a hazard and had to be addressed. The quotes were delivered the next day after assessment. The team was here on two separate days (April 30 and May 7). They were efficient, professional and most importantly safe. Hollis, the arborist who climbed the trees was friendly and communicated everything he was doing to the trees as well as any changes he made once he was up in the tree. The other members of the crew (Syd and Pete, I can’t remember the others) were professional and friendly. They cleaned everything up and were open to any suggestions we had regarding disposal of the wood. I would highly recommend this company. We will be having them back again to do more work, in the fall.

Called these guys to order firewood and spoke with Cristina who was super nice on the phone. A few days later the crew came and dropped off a bush cord of hardwood. Right on time and did a great cleanup when they were done stacking. Completely dry firewood (which is harder and harder to come by these days) and great customer service .
I've just called James this morning at 8:30 AM regarding the tree root at the front yard encroaching and heaving up the walk way. He picked up the phone after 2 rings and readily put my mind at ease. Dr. Yip has excellent dental skills and I highly recommend him for his professionalism in all the dental services he offers. His gentle touch when attending to his work is also greatly appreciated. Dr. Yip is happy to discuss your thoughts on treatment and help you navigate through it. His fees are reasonable and I find it commendable that he will discuss fees before he does the work unlike some other dentists who do the work and then surprise you with a fee. He is very straightforward about what he can do, is happy to answer all your questions and refer you to proper care for other dental needs in areas like gum restoration and periodontal disease. A real find when searching for good and solid dental care knowing your well-being is the priority.
I had a hamstring injury that left me in pain for a year. I went to 3 other clinics previous to visiting The Hip Joint, that weren’t very helpful. After a couple sessions with Dr. Martin, he was able to target and eliminate my hamstring pain. I am now able to sit for flights and run 10K’s without any pain or problems. He is magic!

I suffered from low back pain for a long time, and the pandemic made it even worse. I had a herniated disc causing pain to shoot from my lower back down my right leg. Despite trying various therapies—chiropractic, acupuncture, trigger point therapy, osteopathy, massage, Lidocaine injections, and fascial stretch therapy—nothing provided lasting relief. I hadn’t had a good night's sleep in over two years.

Everyone at the clinic is amazing. They treat my dogs with respect and always follow up after every visit. We had been through everything with them and I have to say, I travel far to see them every time. They are quick to respond via email and on the phone and definitely address simple things that do not require a visit. Dr Emily and Dr. Candice operated our babies and they were super well taken care of.

Dr. Kato is wonderful. Her kindness and compassion is such a rare quality to find. We moved to her a few years ago and are so happy we did. She has been thorough and assisted with our dog who has a very complicated health history. When we needed a referral to a specialist, she followed up multiple times to make sure it was done timely. We have now had to make the hardest decision a pet owner ever has to make. She helped us through the decision with kindness compassion and speaking of her experience and what she has seen. She truly is a wonderful vet who cares so much. We feel so fortunate to have found her in the last few years of our girls life, when we needed her most. Thank you Dr. Kato.

Yesterday we got our dog Lapro Spayed. We seen Dr. Karissa Ali who was very welcoming, knew exactly how to approach our Shiba, and explained everything to us throughly. The spay was done by Meaghan Roque, she updated me throughout the whole process, gave me a call and explained everything and made a cute bravery certificate, and sheet with all the information needed for the healing process and going home. We found this super helpful and was patient with all my questions. Our doggie is healing well, and drank and ate the same day. Thank you to everyone at the Jane Animal Hospital! This will be our choice of vet for any check ups or anything needed <3

Dr Hung had previously taken care of my partners previous dog and was a recommendation from her family. I can definitely see why when we brought our 10 year old Yorkie in for a checkup. Everyone in the clinic was super sweet and gave our dog Fifi so much attention and treats. She was so nice that she waived our check up for free and gave actual honest advice. Before Willowdale, we had taken Fifi to spadina animal hospital and only received advice where they wanted to push every single sales opportunity. For example, tests and various operations. From now on we will only go here even though it's a little further away from downtown core but at least it's a peace of mind.

I have walked quite a few dogs as an off leash pack walker so I have seen the bad the good and the okay. One day, the Standard Schnauzer in my group, Solly, came back to the pack looking absolutely gorgeous. Solly is also one my tough guys thats not the easiest to handle if you don't know what you're doing. So I knew who ever did that job was not only talented at grooming but also knew how to handle dogs. The first thing I did after dropping him off was asking for the name of his groomer. Tails Up is amazing! My long haired cat will not let me brush him, therefore he gets lots of matt's. Although he is difficult, they are able to groom him, which makes him more comfortable. Finn is a sweet boy, just unkempt lol, thanks to tails up he is now a handsome dude.

Dogfather has a tiny very very well curated cat section...Yesterday, Chris suggested the Silvervine cat toy! Win win! Silvervine is a plant similar to catnip but even more attractive- and our bengal cats love this toy! Natural cat toys makes it and they are also good for cats' teeth and chewing muscles! I've been hearing about Spinal Energetics for a while now but had never taken the plunge to experience this modality myself. When the opportunity arose, the lovely Katya invited me to try a session, and I was beyond excited.
From the moment I stepped into her space, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. Katya created a beautifully serene environment, the room was warm and inviting, immediately making me feel at home. She even offered me coconut water as I was feeling thirsty, a small gesture that spoke volumes about her thoughtfulness and care.
As the session began, shamanic music played softly in the background. Almost instantly, I felt my tailbone start to move. I saw Natalia RMT 5 weeks after my mastectomy surgery (breast cancer) to help with my shoulder range of motion, I hit a plateau with my post op exercises and needed more help, she took the time to really listen to me and with her advanced training, knowledge and techniques she addressed my concerns, I felt a whole lot of tension release from my incision scars (SLNB) and relief of shoulder/neck pain after my first visit, she proceeds with care and I can tell she is passionate about her work, she also provides great resources to help continue with self care at home ! I have severe knee issues including a repaired ACL in my left knee and a current torn ACL in my right knee in addition to 2 bucket handle tears also in my right knee. After my meniscus repairs I went to two other physio prior to finding FROM. My pervious Physio’s focused on range of motion so much that I would leave my appointments in pain and unable to walk. I was feeling so sad and hopeless.
It’s been a year of going to FROM in both locations (north york and downtown) and the treatment I get is fabulous. I leave motivated, pain free and with an action plan. There is attention to my needs and my goals and then a commitment from the providers to get me there. I am now preparing for upcoming ACL repair surgery and I am so thankful to have FROM on my side. The attention to my swelling, range of motion, stability and strength is so on point. I feel like I have a team of cheerleaders and magicians that heal my alignments. Highly recommend the facility and providers!

He's very knowledgeable and effective with his treatments, listening to what your problem areas and then determining how to approach them. He'll also give you effective exercises and tips for alleviating the aches associated with an office job and working on a screen for most of the day - you just have to remember to apply them! I first met Dr Hao thur a WISB incident where he knew exactly how long it would take to recover. He did not sugar coat it. It was a long time and I never thought I would recover. However with his encouragement and prediction all turned out.I returned a year later with another issue and again he knew the recovery time.Dr. Minh Hao is very busy and he definitely knows what he is doing. I actually don't want to do this review because he might get too busy to see me ...however he deserves the recognition.

Monica helped me a lot with my migraines and shoulder pain. My migraines started in junior high school. They usually occur when I don’t get enough rest or when I’m under a lot of stress. I’ve been resistant to all kinds of painkillers for more than ten years. I have had acupuncture four times in total so far, and my shoulder pain has been relieved a lot. The frequency of migraine attacks and the pain level have also been greatly reduced.
Usually when I work continuously at high intensity and go to bed late, I will have a severe headache at least once every half month. But I haven’t gotten sick very much recently.

Dr Wang is incredibly helpful and kind! He has helped me a lot and provided a lot of relief with my health issues. Chinese medicine has helped me more than Western medicine ever has. The acupuncture and medicine he provides is extremely effective. Strongly recommend to anyone who is currently dealing with health issues that they haven’t yet found relief for!

I went here to see Jennifer Hau who is a RMT who also does lymphatic massage. I've only seen her twice. I cannot comment on her massaging skills but her skills as a healer and intuitive are amazing. She is a hidden gem for anyone looking for more than just the physical type of healing. She is capable of helping you on more subtle levels if you want. The office is clean and professional and it s definitely a safe space.

I was highly sceptical of acupuncture generally. She proved me wrong, quickly curing my golfer’s elbow. On another occasions, another complaint seemingly evaporated when she treated it.

I had the pleasure of having Aliya as my driving instructor from All Women Drivers Inc. She was patient, encouraging, and reassuring during my lessons towards taking my G2 test. She is very thorough in helping you improve and prepare for the test. Through her lessons, I was able to pass my G2 test. I highly recommend this driving school for all new or nervous drivers. :)

Had a 4 week session class and an in person instructor. The class was nice overall but could definitely be improved. However, my driving instructor, Rashidi, was amazing. He is very patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable and gives great tips in how to improve and pass the G2 test. I learned very quickly with him and would recommend Rashidi to anyone who plans to have in-car practice sessions.
