Chad and his crew at Home Painters Pro painted my house in downtown Toronto last month. They showed up when they said they would, prepped the surfaces properly, and didn't leave any mess. Chad knows his stuff, suggested an accent wall color I never would have thought of, and it pulled the whole room together. Had an answer for every question I threw at him too. The trim looks better than anything. Highly recommended. Already planning to have them back for the exterior painting.

I can't express more how great a barbershop RendezVous is ?? I get my haircut every week so it's awesome to come in, get your haircut exactly as you like it without having to explain it, chat with your barber like a long time friend and then RENDEZ-VOUS again the week after.

Excellent haircut. I have never had a better haircut in my life, and I am not exagerating. Very kind personnel, clearly care for their customers and their needs. They even ask if you would like a water or a coffee. I asked for a middle part haircut, and the stylist outdid himself! It turned out even better than I expected. If I could give 6 stars, I would!
Price is also very good. Remember to bring cash as they are cash only! Even if you do not, there is an ATM nearby.

Tash has a small shop on Queens Quay. It is clean and the chair is comfortable. This was my first visit, but I was greeted warmly like I was a long time client, seated immediately and asked what type of cut I wanted. I asked for a 0.5 buzz cut. Tash was efficient and thorough and the conversation was fun and interesting. This is exactly what I want in a barbershop experience. The cost was good and I appreciate that a buzz cut is slightly less than a full hair cut which a lot of downtown places don't do. Perfect experience and I would recommend to anyone.

I have had my last few hair cuts from this store by Eden, Matias and @skblindz. They nailed it, even though I was not sure what to get exactly. Cool enviroment with welcoming people.
They took their time discussing what would be the best for my hair and let me know what they are planing in every steps of the haircut.

Patricio told him how the cut was going to, communicating all the way through & finished off with a hot towel treatment. My kid was in heaven!

Erin has been my stylist for years, and she just gets it. I don’t have to explain much — she knows exactly how I like my cut and delivers every time. She’s efficient, detail-oriented, and takes real pride in her work. It’s hard to find that kind of long-term consistency.
What I appreciate most is being able to sit down and not worry about the outcome. That level of trust only comes from experience and skill. If you’re booking at Nero, I’d definitely recommend Erin.
Also, credit to Nick, the owner. He doesn’t cut my hair, but he always makes a point to say hello and make you feel welcome when you walk in. That kind of presence says a lot about how the place is run. The professionalism and atmosphere reflect the standard he’s set.
My boyfriend has curly hair, so I found Urban Philosophy while searching for salons with stylists who really understand how to cut curls. I am so glad I did, because this place is truly amazing. My boyfriend became a regular, and we happily go out of our way to come downtown for his appointments. Sandra and Elena in particular always do an incredible job on his hair and he gets compliments all the time. They consistently exceed our expectations, and he always leaves the salon feeling pampered and relaxed.
If you have not tried this place yet, please do! I want them to be busy (just not so busy that we can’t book an appointment?).

I've been coming to Mo.Mo ever since they opened in 2021 because of the quality work, the friendly staff, and clean workspace. I've brought my 2 best friends, our moms, and our boyfriends - and every time has always been stellar. No matter the service (shellac, bio gel, mani/pedi), the nail techs always do their finest work. I highly recommend coming on Sunday mornings to get the free parking!
This was my first time visiting this salon, and overall I had a really great experience. I had old acrylic removed from my natural nails and had bio gel applied. I ended up going with a medium stiletto shape and a simple pink colour.
At first, I wasn’t completely sure about the pink shade that was applied. When the nail technician, Tina, asked what I thought, she immediately noticed my hesitation and brought out three different pink shades. She tested each one on my nail and helped me choose the perfect colour — the one she recommended ended up being my favourite.
Tina was incredibly kind and truly an expert when it came to shaping. I have to say, this is one of my favourite sets I’ve ever had. She shaped my nails exactly how I wanted them, and they look amazing.
The cuticle area wasn’t done, but I didn’t specifically ask for a full manicure, so that’s on me — I’ll just be sure to request cuticle work next time as an additional service. Overall, I’m very happy with my nails and will definitely be going back.
Today was my second time visiting the salon, and I absolutely love it! The staff are highly skilled at what they do. I can be a bit picky with my design - especially while sticking to my budget- but they always handle it with a pleasant attitude and even offer helpful suggestions, which I really appreciate.

I had such a wonderful experience at Lush Nail Salon! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, cozy and relaxing. A huge thank-you to Sunny & Cloe—they are both truly amazing at what they do. They took their time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure mine and my sisters toes were exactly how we wanted them. We did the Valentine's Day Pedi special which was basically like an entire foot-spa. It included shellac polish, different scrubs, waxes and even hot stones & a massage. I can’t recommend this salon enough,I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve been coming here for a few years and it’s my favourite nail salon in the area. The nail techs are all excellent and the atmosphere is very laid back. It’s a small salon, but I never have trouble getting appointments. It’s very clean and quiet.
Went here to get my nails redone after a disappointing shellac manicure somewhere else. Place was bustling! My nails look great! Happy to have this place in the neighborhood!
A quaint and lovely salon. Stopped by today for the first time for an impromptu pedicure and really enjoyed it. Small, only two pedicure stations, so I think I got lucky they were available! Very clean, peaceful environment - was able to relax in the quiet with pleasant background music. The owner was lovely too! I have had really good experiences at many nail salons but this one is different, it’s SO great. They are very knowledgeable, fast, and my nails last longer than any other place I have been. I get shellac and I think I have gone now about 5 times, my new go to! Amazing staff and lovely clean place.
My nails are now pretty long which I love (see red nails) but a few months back I had broken two nails (not any salons fault but it was nails done elsewhere and I do feel that they were less strong then when I get them done here) and SheaCoco did a great fix with square nails and fixing a crack too, I felt so much better after! Definitely not cheap but same as everything in this city that has high quality. Got a Balayage for the first time in my life and have zero regrets. Staff were nice and dedicated, offered free tea and chocolate, helped me choose the most amazing colour and turned out really nice. A huge advantage is the hijab privacy.

This place SAVED ME from lash embarrassment. I had previously heard of Beyond Beauty from my friend who has always had the nicest lashes, but I decided against my better judgement to try different place that did trendy lashes (think: “Classic Anime set”). After just one week of those I booked for a removal and new set with Beyond Beauty because my eyes were so irritated and my lashes were falling out from the previous place. Linh and her team are so professional and knowledgeable, and they truly have your best interest in mind. My lashes are no longer damaged and are growing back longer and stronger than ever, which means extension retention is amazing too (3 weeks or so). Lashes are WATERPROOF IMMEDIATELY and unlike other places, they use a combination of single- and multi- lashes to give you the look of having naturally full and fluffy lashes each time. I can’t go anywhere else. Believe me it is worth it to go here.

First time client today - booked a last minute local Thai massage looking for some relief from a week of fatigue and tension.
Nana got me changed into shorts and lied down right away, and the the one hour Thai massage began which started with a warm towel to my feet, walking on my hips, hamstrings, calves (she was so mindful of her pressure, deep as I wanted but just before it was too much - excellent) and proceeded to my back neck and arms. Then massaged deeper using oil and elbows into my traps, did front chest work after turning over, and ended with some deep stretches as well for my front and back. Got some deep cracks from my lumbar spine too which felt amazing.
Overall, fell asleep halfway because it was so relaxing and my body and mind felt totally relaxed after.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a deep tissue ashiatsu walking on back massage!! Will be back for sure.

whoever said this delightful woman ripped their skin off is either made of papier-mâché or lying, because i have had nothing but delightful results. i had a virgin brazilian here, and even though i definitely came in overgrown, she did it perfectly, efficiently, and for a fantastic price.
i doubted the reviews too, but you can trust me personally as a stranger. don't pay double for the same quality, come here instead - and maybe get a couple more places done too.

I went in for a diamond facial, brow lamination, waxing, and tint, and not only did she do an amazing job with all the treatments, she went above and beyond in the kindest way. She took her time to make sure everything was perfect, even removing a few stubborn blackheads without any discomfort.
What really touched me was after my service — I had taken off my necklace and it got completely tangled. Even though our appointment was finished, she patiently helped me untangle it so I could wear it again. That kind of kindness and care is rare, and it shows she truly values her clients.

I hired Betty to teach me how to do voluminous curls for my hair. She taught me how to use the curling wand and which products to apply. Without her help, my curls would still look kinked and bad. It was very easy to book with Corrie Elle. They have packages but were able to create one based on my needs (makeup for 4 bridesmaids, hair for mother of the bride, hair & makeup for myself, and 4 hours of touch up service). Corrie was always very responsive to my emails and questions.
Myself and my wedding party had never worn false lashes before but Corrie's Senior Artists Alison and Ty picked the right ones for each of us - and trust me, they weren’t kidding when they said “premium lashes.” We could not feel them at all!
Both artists arrived to the venue right on schedule. I did a makeup trial with Alison ahead of time and had pictures for my hairstyle. She brought my hair idea to life and wove in perfectly the hair jewelry - everyone commented on how beautiful it was. Alison kept me picture-perfect ready for all my photoshoots and ensured my hair around my shoulders was always placed properly and that I never looked shiny (it was a summer wedding, so heat was a factor). She helped place my veil when it was time, and helped take it out after the ceremony. She even quickly redid the braid and hair jewelry to make sure it would stay in place all night long, as it had been 6 hours since she first completed it. She is truly a professional with a bright personality and was easily able to cover any imperfections in my skin with the airbrush makeup. She also did a fantastic job with my mom’s hair - and all we communicated to her was the idea of it and she brought it to life.
My bridesmaids also loved Ty. Ty also has a bright personality and made sure to ask a lot of questions before working on each bridesmaid so she could match the right type of makeup to them.

From biking to follow up and everything in between Jackson and Chino were welcoming, kind, calm and reassuring. They answered all my questions and gave great advice. The studio was very clean and had a positive vice. The preparation for the tattoo was not rushed and during the tattoo Chino let me know everything that was happening. I got a black and grey tattoo by Carrie. Carrie was terrific and checked in with me multiple times to make sure that the tattoo i was getting was what i wanted as far as looks and placement. She also encouraged breaks if i needed any and mentioned to let her know when I'm in town again if a touch up is needed.The overall place is very clean and great sanitation practices are being followed from what I saw. Tattoohuas also had a great vibe and music playing as well.

Had a great experience. I got a custom tattoo with Janet and the communication on the design was quick and smooth. The design went through a few iterations where after a free phone consultation and emails I got a design I love. Everything was very clean and safe which was a big priority for me. In addition the staff were very talkative and fun which made the 3 hours fly by.

David is a through professional and above all, he is a BEST human being. The world needs people like him. Today, February 16, 2025, evening when the whole GTA is under snowstorm, my tenants called to complain about power failure in the house. I panicked and searched for licensed electricians. I had called about a dozen of them and finally got a hold of David. I mentioned the issue and he voluntarily said he might be able to fix the issue by having a Face Time call with my tenants. I didn't believe it first but I insisted him going in person and I was willing to pay him whatever the charge is. On a second thought, I said ok, try FaceTime and if it doesn't work out, please go in to do the work. He agreed to do so and within few minutes, he was able to fix it through FaceTime. For the work, he asked me to donate the fees to SickKids. Not many people do this these days!
I immediately donated $200 to SickKids Hospital. I'm forever thankful for his services and I'm going to be giving him a big job to do in my house. He is such a GENTLEMAN and a REAL PROFESSIONAL!

I have a 2009 Moto Guzzi motorcycle and needed a key cloned. I could not find anywhere in Vancouver to do it. I brought my original key with me to Toronto recently and found PC Farm Inc. (FobCopy) on Google Maps. For $100 they found the right key, copied it and cloned it. This is after I had spent about $400 on Amazon and Ebay getting keys, having them cut and getting no where with cloning. When I am next in Toronto, I am bringing a pile of car and other motorcycle keys with me and taking them here to be cut and cloned. I would highly recommend this place!

Rocky did a great job and was very friendly. He knocked out 3 bedroom carpets in about 45min-hour with the sanitize option and one room getting the pet enzyme treatment. Carpets looked 10 times better afterwards and the whole unit smelled great after the cleaning. I would absolutely recommend Toronto Steam n' Clean and use their services again in the future.

We desperately needed new steps for the front of our house and heard about this company who were recommended to us through a friend who's also a realtor. Domenic came over and gave us a quote and showed us some pics of what he had done at other houses. Its was just before Christmas and we were lucky that the weather was so mild that he was able to come in and do the work the following day! It took a day longer to finish only because he had somehow miscalculated his measurements but he took responsibility for his mistake and swallowed the costs which I have NEVER heard of a contractor doing before. The end result was that we have a new set of beautiful steps at the front of our house that we are very happy with!

While I had to ask Dr. Gelber and Grace for the dates, I wanted to give some background on my recent results. I first met Dr. Gelber through my husband in 2011 - and while I tried to start care, other things in my life prevented me from being able to commit. I returned in 2012, 2013, and then for a slightly longer timeframe in 2016. Got some results, but life pulled me away.
I made my way back earlier this year, and with more things aligned in my life, I recognized that my spine and body felt very MIS-aligned! We re-started adjustments right away, and now, after 5 months of consistently going to my appointments, there has been a significant improvement in my functionality. During my dance classes, I noticed that i have a greater range of joint motion in my hips, upper back, and neck. The chronic pain on right side of my neck and left hip has gone. My posture has improved in that the slight hump in my upper back and rounded shoulders is visibly reduced. I feel and look like a younger person.
I have never been to the chiropractor before and was a little apprehensive, however Dr. Mackay is so kind and patient and walked me through all the steps we were going to take and what each noise meant. He ensured I was completely comfortable prior to starting our sessions. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the experience you receive there. He is warm, remembers your name and life stories, and actually makes your feel so much better within a few sessions. He has had his practice for years, and truly knows how to help you heal. Also, I must mention their Patient Care Coordinator, Katherine, she is always bright and cheerful on your way in and out and speaking with her is delightful. I highly recommend this practice for your chiro needs.

Dr. Angus enough is a wonderful Chiropractor. I truly cannot recommend her enough. In the past I have seen chiropractors who repeat the exact same treatment with each visit but Dr. Angus starts each appointment with a thorough assessment of where your body is at and customizes each treatment accordingly. I trust her completely and would recommend her to anyone. Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and helpful and they always run right on time, I have never had to wait. I changed 4 vets before finding Sherbourne animal and I’ve been taking my 2 dogs to them for almost 2 years now. And I genuinely have only positive things to say. From their receptionists (shoutout Katie!) to their vet assistants and of course their doctors (shoutout Dr. Kelsick and Dr. Robson!) they are all so very sweet, friendly, helpful and understanding. This place is one of those rare finds where nobody makes you feel like you are failing your pet, on the contrary I always leave feeling better than I arrived. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Dr. Kato is wonderful. Her kindness and compassion is such a rare quality to find. We moved to her a few years ago and are so happy we did. She has been thorough and assisted with our dog who has a very complicated health history. When we needed a referral to a specialist, she followed up multiple times to make sure it was done timely. We have now had to make the hardest decision a pet owner ever has to make. She helped us through the decision with kindness compassion and speaking of her experience and what she has seen. She truly is a wonderful vet who cares so much. We feel so fortunate to have found her in the last few years of our girls life, when we needed her most. Thank you Dr. Kato.

Dr. Namdari’s professional knowledge about hamsters and his confidence in performing PB’s mammary tumor removal surgery gave me the reassurance I needed to go ahead with the procedure. As I had hoped, the surgery was a complete success.
The hospital team has also been incredibly caring with their post-operative support, regularly following up on PB’s recovery. Today PB had her stitches removed during the follow-up appointment, and she is healing well — finally able to return to her normal life!

We came in recently to get paperwork filled out for our cat’s travel to Ireland and the UK. Jo was a star; she worked with the vet Dr. Kavonic to get everything filled out properly. It’s a complicated bureaucratic process in which small errors could lead to animals being quarantined at their destination, so we really appreciated the clinic’s care and attention to detail. Dr. Kavonic was wonderful as well and she had great recommendations for making the journey go smoothly. Our cat made it safe and sound. We are very grateful!

I had such a great experience at Village Gate Animal Hospital. Dr. Ho is an amazing veterinarian, she’s patient, thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients. She took the time to explain everything to me. Kyra, the receptionist, was so friendly and welcoming. Kristina was also wonderful, kind, professional, and so gentle with my puppy. Tldr: more expensive than other vets but 100% worth it. Especially when they help you use cheaper preventative options
They are the absolute best. We had a wonderful boxer for 8 years and they were great to her. She loved people and had tons of energy so she'd get really excited to go to the vet each time and want to play with everyone there. They were super understanding and loved playing with her, and were still able to examine her.
She had allergies during the fall which they helped us treat, and once in a while this resulted in a hot spot, which they were also great about helping us handle.
They're more expensive than other vets but we always found this worth it. Especially for times where they would recommend much cheaper preventative treatments, like washing our dog's paws with a pretty basic soap mixture everytime she comes inside during allergy season to help prevent itching + hotspots.
They also were super responsive by phone or email, though keep in mind not open on weekends so have an emergency vet you know to deal with off hours emergencies.
In the end when our dog got a sadly untreatable cancer they diagnosed it really well and advised us honestly about the options. We took her in to them to put her down when the time came and they were extremely supportive and nice, with multiple people coming in to see her and say goodbye and have one last playtime. It was the best possible experience for her and us in a terrible situation that softened it a lot.

Dr. Roman and her team are exemplary. I have had many pets - no veterinarian has ever done as much to ensure the good health of my pets. Dr. Roman diagnosed an issue that no other vet even bothered to explore with one of my cats - it made all the difference for my little guy to live without daily pain. I should have written this review a while ago but figured that my better half had already given a glowing review !!! Both Kelsey & Jim deserve all the praise they get for their dedication to the Barkingham Pack … the doggies are always looking so relaxed and happy while at the day care . Zorro waits every morning to jump in the car to get to see his friends ! He definitely seems to have a lot of fun and is quite pitted when we pick him up . Kelsey takes great pains to get beautiful and action pictures of the pack, it must be a chore to do it every day but she manages to surprise us with awesome shots . Both of us and Zorro are fortunate to have found such caring individuals who truly are devoted to the pack. Thank you Kelsey and Jim for taking such great care of not just Zorro but the entire Barkingham Pack ? we are also thankful for the overnight stays for Zorro while we travel.

Our Basset Hound Muffin is always ecstatic first when she understands she will go to daycare and second when she actually arrives at daycare! It's always so enjoyable to see her so happy at the beginning of the day and so tired at the end of it: we can tell she had the best day!

Absolutely love Puppy Love Yoga- the staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, and you can tell they truly care about the wellbeing of the pups. Plus, if you're into yoga, our instructor gave us some really amazing personalized tips to get the most out of our poses (in-between snuggling puppies, of course). I've been three times and am always inviting new friends to come out with me.

Dr. Andrew Young at this Step Up location is an excellent chiropractor. He takes the time to truly understand the pain points and makes sure the right muscles and areas are targeted during treatment. He is calm, composed, and very easy to talk to, which makes the entire experience comfortable and reassuring.
I had chronic lower back pain for the last 4.5 years, and his treatment helped me release that pain in just a few sessions. He understood my requirements extremely well and tailored the treatment accordingly. I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Young to anyone dealing with long-term muscular/joint pain.
Dan is the MAN! I came here because of the reviews and I am so glad that I did. I had a prenatal massage and it exceeded my expectations! Not only was the massage great, but Dan also gave me exercises I can do at home to help relieve my pain. I will definitely be back at least twice before my delivery!

Over the past year, I have been working with massage therapist Cynthia Castro Acosta and acupuncturist Saima Butt. Both of these practitioners are incredibly professional and knowledgeable in the work that they do. In addition to being technically skilled, they are communicative, caring, and emotionally intelligent. My experiences have been nothing but positive.
With Cynthia, I have received both focussed and full-body work to reduce tension, release fascia, and promote relaxation. Cynthia seems to have a way of locating tension that I didn’t even realise I carried! I leave our sessions feeling calm, relaxed, and at ease. She is so amazing at what she does and during the time I have gotten to know her, I can see that Cynthia is truly a gem of a human who genuinely cares about her clients’ wellbeing.
With Saima, I have received acupuncture, cupping, moxibuston, and other TCM services to help ease chronic pain, restore balance, alleviate fatigue, and support my overall wellness. Saima is a great communicator and their gentle approach puts me at ease, which is important when there are needles involved. I also appreciate how generous Saima is with knowledge- and resource-sharing to ensure that I continue to stay well both after and in-between our appointments. I truly feel cared for in a holistic sense.
Beyond the individual practitioners, the clinic itself is a welcoming, clean, and calming space. The chill vibe and thriving plants make it feel like a quiet little sanctuary in the middle of the city. The owner Tuan is friendly, approachable, and kind. I regularly see him around with his sweet dog and he always takes the time to stop and say hello, which I appreciate.

Alicia Hanman was an excellent physiotherapist for my daughter -who injured her knee from a strained hamstring. I have been going to Axis for about four months now, and I highly recommend it! The space is lovely and very clean and the staff are truly wonderful and kind. Booking an appointment was a breeze and paying through my insurance was not a problem. Prior to this, I had never done massage therapy before, and was actively skeptical of its benefits. I have severe knee issues including a repaired ACL in my left knee and a current torn ACL in my right knee in addition to 2 bucket handle tears also in my right knee. After my meniscus repairs I went to two other physio prior to finding FROM. My pervious Physio’s focused on range of motion so much that I would leave my appointments in pain and unable to walk. I was feeling so sad and hopeless.
It’s been a year of going to FROM in both locations (north york and downtown) and the treatment I get is fabulous. I leave motivated, pain free and with an action plan. There is attention to my needs and my goals and then a commitment from the providers to get me there. I am now preparing for upcoming ACL repair surgery and I am so thankful to have FROM on my side. The attention to my swelling, range of motion, stability and strength is so on point. I feel like I have a team of cheerleaders and magicians that heal my alignments. Highly recommend the facility and providers!

I started to work with Suzie and Andre after receiving a diagnosis of severe osteoarthritis in my left hip and mild in my right hip. Together, we worked at preserving my left joint while awaiting a replacement, and at strengthening my right joint. I joined the GLA:D program (for osteoarthritic knees and hips) and received Gunn IMS (a needling procedure aimed at reducing muscle tension and spasm). This was all very helpful. Now that my left hip has been replaced, I have the tools to manage my recovery and rehabilitation, and to preserve both hips long term. If I could go back in time, I would have connected with Suzie and Andre sooner. Thank you both!

Dr. Susie is a Toronto gem. Years ago, I had a sports injury where I had a massive paralyzing cramp in my left calf. Her first intervention was through accupuncture, cupping and massage. It was after a second visit that within 4 days, I was able to walk normally again and recover within that week, with very diminished pain. On the 6th day that I recovered normal full range of motion, pain free. I would recommend her to anyone needing a professional who is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and fair priced, to see her. Dr Frank is great. I've seen her 3 times for 3 different issues. Each of them have been resolved. I've only had to see her once for the issues. The remedies she recommends always works. I highly recommend seeing her.

Had two wonderful reiki sessions with Haleh and I can't recommend her services enough. It's difficult to explain the reiki experience as it's deeply personal and I wouldn't want to set an expectation. I will say though that both sessions were transformative and Haleh is a lovely person who will put you at ease.
Go in with an open mind and see where reiki takes you during the session and in the weeks that follow...

I had a great experience learning with Mr. DEEN. As a new driver, I was quite nervous at the beginning, but he was very patient, supportive, and genuinely cared about his students. He explained things clearly, helped me handle different driving situations calmly （Terrible Downtown Traffic...) , and made sure I felt confident before the test.
Before my actual road test, Mr. DEEN also took me through the 3 possible full test routes, which was extremely helpful. Thanks to his guidance, I passed my G2 road test on the first try. I came here to get lessons in prep for my G test and he was the best driving instructor I couldve asked for- he was patient, nice, and gave great advice all throughout! I passed my G test on my first try and I highly recommend coming here if you’re learning to drive.

I just passed my G road test today.My experience with Ken is excellent. I took G-preparation with him. He let me spent a lot of time on the highway ( DVP and Gardiner express) over and over so I have confident to do land changes smoothly and merging on the highway smoothly.I really recommend Ken to be your instructor. He does have a strong Chinese accent, but I understood everything that said and taught me
Miss Mallalai is very patient, attentive and caring as a teacher. Truly one of the best driving tutors hand downs out there, money well spent, knows her P and Qs and goes over every detail.
