A tip: If someone spends hours with you on the phone, and asks for access to your computer, to give you money, they don't want to give you money! They want to get into your bank accounts!!!“

“If I could give this place another star I would! Kia is an amazing yet extremely knowledgeable person who is not just there to help solve your computer problems but to also provide you with the best customer service out there. Last week I decided to take my computer apart to clean it and upon reconstructing it I found that I had no display. I have had this computer for 3 years and never once had this issue so I brought it to two of the most reliable places (so I thought). I visited Canada computers and the employees were friendly but seemed more confused than me! Which kind of freaked me out…so long story short they told me to leave it with them for 5 days and once the others in queue were dealt with they would begin diagnosing mine and it would cost me 50 dollars regardless of the outcome. Obviously I didn’t end up leaving it there because I’m a university student and cannot lose my computer for 5 days! I then visited Best Buys geek squad and they couldn’t do anything for me either! I was starting to get quite nervous because I had been stuck with this zero display issue for 2 days and done pretty much everything the internet had to offer for “no display but pc is running how to fix” searches. Thursday afternoon I called Kia at rosedale computers and told him about my situation and he told me to bring it in for a free diagnostic that same day. Unfortunately I couldn’t get to him until the afternoon so I left it overnight with him and on Friday morning I got a call from him saying he had already found out what the issue was (I shorted the motherboard). Luckily he had a 9th generation motherboard in stock and he offered to switch my broken one out for the new one he had at a rate that I could afford + he gave me a student discount on top of the already affordable rate! After switching it out I asked if he could add a wifi antenna (which he did for free) as I print at home on wifi and my previous motherboard had wifi available. It’s honestly amazing how he had my computer running so soon with display at great rate and I couldn’t have been any happier with the outcome of the situation. Yes it’s too bad I ruined my motherboard but I met a wonderful person who will now be my go to guy for any computer related issues so long as I still live in Toronto!Thank you once again Kia for everything. I have told my family and friends to go visit you if needs be.“
