“Walking South on Spadina between College and Dundas, there are more options for getting a cracked iPhone screen repaired than there are for getting bubble tea… And you should ignore all of them, EXCEPT X-Wireless on Baldwin just at the Eastern lip of Kensington Market.

These guys are terrific: careful, attentive, knowledgeable, fast and affordable. I walked in with a spider-web quickly expanding across the screen of my 13 ProMax and they took it right away. I walked up Augusta, grabbed some gelato, walked back and they handed me a phone with a new display, working beautifully. All-in for about $150. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

NOTE: The screen was the original Apple OLED which worked fine. Previously, a crack meant just replacing the top glass. That was about $75 and required a fair bit of skill which many repair shops did not have. Now a crack means they swap the entire display and for $150, it works well, but the image is not as good as the original. I plan on upgrading the phone in the fall, so I don’t mind a drop in display quality for 2-3 months. If you want to preserve the quality of the original - then ask for Apple parts and pay $400+“
