“Popcorn was one of Park9's first puppies 18 years ago. We boarded and took him for daycare frequently. They loved him and took great care of him, especially in his old age; he absolutely adored Susan, Eric and Stacey there. I love their high standards and professionalism. Now that we have another puppy, Zoë, we are back again. Love love love this place! Would highly recommend!“

“I wouldn’t trust anyone other than Elizabeth (Hound & Kitty) to take care of my little fur ball. Elizabeth is one of the kindest, most genuine human beings I have ever met and her passion for cats radiates through the Hound & Kitty space. From the minute I walked in there, I knew this would be a fun and safe space for my cat. I actually think he likes it better than our home!Elizabeth is patient, extremely communicative, and gives world class service! Thanks for everything you do, Elizabeth.“

“5 stars all around. The city was so hard for me to find a reliable trainer. Especially for a rescue dog with trauma. I had about two trainers before i found Paul. They bailed on my dog after meeting him. I was in such a hard spot because Rolo was easily triggered by men and other dogs. He would try and bite and get aggressive. I was starting to lose hope. But then we met Paul who was very accepting of my dog Rolo. After the program Rolo was changed dramatically. He loves men now and is able to play with other dogs. I still and will continue to use Mellow vibes for boarding as my job take me out of the city alot. I feel very secure when rolo is there because i know how happy he is. He actually gets depressed when i pick him up from pauls. He loves it there. Im so grateful to have found Mellow vibes for the rest of my dogs life.“

“My dog hates going but once she’s there she has the greatest time. This is a good place to have daycare for your dog when you’re at work! Highly recommend for other dog owners.“

“We took our Hazel to Barkingham for 8+ years and nothing but good things to say about the experiences. Hazel was always so excited to go on her days to Barkingham and that made us feel incredibly comfortable & pleased she was going to Barkingham. We also appreciated the feedback if/when Kelsey sensed anything was ever wrong. Thank you for being such an important and joyous part of Hazel's life. We also appreciated all the accommodating efforts over the years with Hazel that helped our busy life with a family of five.“

“It’s been about 2 years since we started bringing our puppy to Doggieland and we are so happy we did!Puppy Playdates - While still having to balance COVID restrictions, we brought our 3 month old puppy to socialize her with other puppies at Doggieland’s Puppy Playdates at their Bloor Street location. We actually live north of Toronto but found the first session so helpful that we made the drive and went 2 more times. They know their stuff and we learned so much about socializing young dogs. Our puppy thrived there.Day Care - We knew that in time we would want a place she could go to to let her energy out, regardless of how many walks we take her on, she never gets tired, that is until we brought her to Doggieland’s Day Care in Vaughan. Again she thrives there, she comes home exhausted, Every.Single.Time. They give us updates when we pick her up on funny things she did or something she learned, or when she has been a bit sassy. They truly care about her as if she was one of their own. We have her on a set schedule but find they are accommodating if we need to change a date, we try to give as much notice as possible.Boarding - We have used Doggieland’s Boarding services many times. We are very comfortable doing so as we know she is well looked after and has her own “vacation” while we are away. We ask for and receive updates a couple of times while away and we receive pictures and full updates on how our girl is doing. We can fully relax while away and not worry about her at all.Grooming - Our dog also gets groomed at Doggieland – reasonably priced and she always comes home looking her best. They ask what you are looking for and each time we have received what we ask for.Training - Recently we decided to step up our girl’s training and enlisted the services at Doggieland. The 6 week program has improved our dog’s listening and obedience in such a short period of time. She loves the training sessions she had with her trainer Derek and we enjoyed them too! At the end of every week Derek showed us what we would have to do to ensure our dog’s success and while we weren’t perfect we did learn a lot and in return we feel more confident in handling our high energy pup! We are so happy that we decided to enroll our dog and nothing beats the one-on-one time with the trainer. She is focused more on us when out and about and we are enjoying taking her more places and seeing how at ease she is. She is still sassy and energetic but now just more respectful…over Thanksgiving when family came over she didn’t try to knock any old ladies over. LolEven though the training sessions are over, we are encouraged to ask further questions or seek clarification on training points, Derek truly wants the dogs he trains to succeed. The staff – Super friendly, caring and helpful, quick to respond to questions via email or by phone. It’s a long review but we truly feel blessed that we have Doggieland Vaughan so close to us and that their staff treat our dog with as much love and care as they do their own.“

“We've left our cat, Daisy, with Michelle on two separate getaways and have had a very positive experience both times. Michelle is extremely reliable and she seems to really understand animals. She is prompt with communication, giving updates on how our cat was doing while we were away and even sending on photos/videos. When we picked her up, Daisy was very relaxed and adjusted to being back home very easily... Each time, it felt like she had gone on her own little vacation too! What's more, the prices are very reasonable for care with such a personal touch. I will definitely be back to Lonesome Kitty the next time we need accommodation for our cat!“

“Alvi, the Wire Hair Fox Terrier beautifully left this world at the age of 17.5 and we are so grateful to Wholesome Canine and their staff for being a lifeline and introduction to wholistic nutrition and health for dogs. We had so much success reducing or eliminating the symptoms of many conditions associated with old age that emerged in her final years. I frequently recommend them for their knowledge, products, and network. We are truly grateful. Zachary and Alvi“

“We have been sending our dog here for almost two years and it is the absolute best! The staff are lovely and always helpful and patient. You can tell they really care about working with animals. Plus, you'll be hard pressed to find another daycare in Toronto that really prioritizes being a DAYCARE first - separating based off of size/energy, having a staff in the room at all times, webcams... We can't imagine sending our guy anywhere else!“

“Hounds of York is a neighbourhood gem! Especially for a new dog mom like me! We started with the Puppy classes. We’ve now moved on to the Manners class. I was a super nervous small dog mom when we started. I didn’t even put Fiona on the floor the first class. Fiona is a teacup Yorkie and they not only got her comfortable in class but me too! She is so well socialized and confident now and has no fear of any dog. She’s had such positive experiences in classes there and I feel like I probably owe them for comforting me above and beyond what they needed to do with private reassuring phone calls. We have learned so much since we started going. From training to diet to toys and clothing, the store has you covered. The staff there are the BEST! Super nice and welcoming. You can genuinely see their love for all the dogs, even the cashier’s. Fiona loves visiting Hounds of York. The store has been so super accommodating with my work hours (I also run my own small business) and the groomer Amy is the only person I would let touch Fiona. We tried another groomers for Fiona’s first groom just because their groomer Amy doesn’t work weekends. It wasn’t a bad experience but it also wasn’t a great experience. Amy genuinely loves my Fiona. She even waits for Fiona after work just to see her when we’re coming in for classes! She will even babysit her privately while I’m working since she’s not ready for a full day of daycare yet. If you even meet Amy once, you’ll never go anywhere else. I think the selling point for me was when she was holding my dog and she lovingly looked at her in the eyes and asked me how I get anything done for the day while I have her. I’ll happily pay the daycare fee just so Fiona can be groomed by Amy once Fiona is ready to spend the full day! Hounds of York is definitely not a money grab store looking to make a buck, they genuinely care about the well being of your dog and will make special accommodations for their happiness if needed. Fiona and I appreciate everyone here so much! Bonus, there is parking in front of the store!“

“We are trusting them with our furbaby since 2021 for both daycare and boarding. Staffs are great and always nice responding all our questions and they are very nice to our bebe. For boarding, we always pay extra to have daily reports and pictures and we love it. For grooming, we have Parker Pet Care as our contingency only, as the final results were not exactly what we asked for, but still a good job. I hope they add cameras indoor and outdoor so that we can check on our pups once in a while especially when we are far away and miss seeing them. Below is the picture of our baby with Santa at Parker Pet Care, taken by a photographer at Parker Pet Care ?? “

“My first time utilizing The Dog Market for grooming. I work in dog rescue and had a very shy & timid dog needing her first groom. The team was so kind, patient and caring and took extra time to work with our dog’s abilities. Amazing, amazing work, excellent value and an epic array of products too. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.Thank you team!“
