“Some friends and I were pierced by Pounds last night and am so happy and satisfied with our experience with her. She gave us realistic expectations, talked us through our options given our individual anatomy, made recommendations, and was incredibly friendly and competent with her work. Her work station was incredibly clean and organized, and sanitized and changed gloves between all four of us. I got a daith piercing and Pounds explained the level of pain expected in a realistic manner, was gentle and talked all of us through the whole process. I am so so happy with her and my outcome.

The person at the front desk however was very rude and dismissive. She did not greet us when we walked in, was short in answering our questions, and acted as if it was an inconvenience that we walked in. I have multiple piercings and tattoos and have been to multiple shops across the city and haven't had someone at a front desk be so uninvolved and uninterested in their job. She seemed to lighten up at the end but it felt more like she was happy we were finally leaving.“

He says that you need to see him over three cuts in order to achieve perfection: the first cut begins to undo the previous cut. The second shows him how your hair grows, the third lets him dial in the look and shape. A good cut should last 6-8 weeks so expect this to be a long relationship. I’m at cut #1 and it’s already better than the last. It’s no surprise that he also builds his own motorcycles. Build your cut with Davey and ride it into the sunset.“
