I used Toronto Bridal Style for wedding day hair and makeup for myself, my bridal party and both the moms. Jem and her team were so incredibly helpful, communicative and professional throughout the whole process. As a curly haired bride, with a diverse wedding party of multiple skin tones, skin types and hair textures, I was worried about finding a hair and make up artist team who was up for the task. This review is a long time coming but finding the words to adequately thank Jem for what she did on my wedding day have escaped me.
I contracted a separate makeup agency for makeup and hair services for myself and my 5 bridesmaids (3 total artists contracted). The artists were switched out multiple times due to varying reasons, ending up with the aforementioned agency being required to contract out for my hair and makeup services as well as two services on bridesmaids.
Jem saved my wedding day. Period.
The two artists from the other agency were not prepared (no makeup lights, extension cords etc.) and honesty just didn't bring the vibe necessary for a wedding day.… read full review
