Marsha at Pearl The Salon is an awesome stylist who sets you at ease with her calm, unrushed, welcoming ways. I felt pampered and never rushed. I was nervous updating my look from very long, one length hair and we talked about styles, how the cut would be and my preference of it being less fussy to maintain and wear. With 25 years of experience she recommended an adaptation to a photo of a cut i brought and proceeded to cut my hair in a very flattering, updated way. I got the movement and life back in my hair with layers that brushed my shoulders. I love it. I highly recommend her. I can't wait to add some highlights.

Natalie is phenomenal! She is always able to execute my horribly described wishes for my brows and turns them into exactly what I wanted! Even if I give the most ridiculous and out there descriptions for what I am wanting them to look like or the vibe I want them to give off, she is able to take that information and make it happen! She’s so kind and welcoming and not only is my go to brow waxer but she also gives great advice for how to apply brow pencils and gel to keep the shape I want. I go to her every time I need my brows done and am never disappointed!

I flew in from Ontario to take the 1:1 permanent makeup brow course back in June 2024. I was nervous because I didn’t have any previous experience but Amy was so welcoming and the information was presented in a really easy to digest way! Between the 1:1 attention, the booklet, all the materials in the kit and the hands on training… when I left I felt equipped to start pursuing my own clients. There is an abundance of education and being able to ask questions to a person right there was great!

I got two piercings by George (ear and body) in a sitting and I can’t recommend her enough. I’ve had piercings that hurt for days or even weeks after during the healing phase and these ones I almost forget how fresh they are I’ve had zero pain and they’ve been healing beautifully. She’s the best without question and I won’t go anywhere else after this wonderful experience with her.

He showed up exactly when promised and resolved the problem (which was more involved than expected) with suggestions on how to prevent from reoccurring. Price was in the range given (he had to perform extra work to resolve issue that could not be anticipated over the phone). He left the place clean and was efficient and very communicative throughout his visit. Would absolutely recommend Harpers (and Hamish in particular). This is the fourth time I’ve used Gravity Electrical Solutions to perform work in both my former and current homes. And this time was no different in terms of quality of workmanship and professionalism than my previous excellent interactions with them.
I had 2 large chandelier style lights that needed to be installed on my 10 foot ceilings to replace existing fixtures, as well as a new 15 amp breaker and 2 new plugs. Gabe the Electrician called me 15 minutes prior to arrival and showed up right at 8AM. He completed all those tasks quickly and efficiently. And the price was extremely reasonable considering the scope of the work involved.
When Gabe was finished, he cleaned up after himself and tested each fixture and plug to prove they were all working correctly. I will continue to use Gravity Electrical for any future work and wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to friends and family.

We hired Neil to replace our underground electrical service line and had a really good experience working with him.
He was very patient and took the time to explain the entire process to us and walk us through the different options and possible solutions. He contacted ENMAX and worked with them to get us a reasonable price for the new service line.
Neil also coordinated with ENMAX and the trenching contractor to arrange the digging and installation of a brand-new line from the transformer. There was a lot of back and forth and coordination involved, but he helped us through the whole process and also arranged the service energization and City inspection.
We really appreciate all the time and effort Neil put into this project. He was knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend him!

I hired Walla to replace the flooring in my house, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. His expertise in flooring is exceptional, and the quality of the work is outstanding. Additionally, he was spot-on with the start and completion dates he provided. I'm extremely satisfied with the flooring he installed and would highly recommend him.
We had just moved into a spec-built home. The concrete in the garage had sat long enough for the typical shrinkage cracks to form. The knee walls were rough from formwork. I work on vehicles as a hobby so I needed the floor sealed against spills.
We looked at a number of contractors for coatings. There are a lot of trades who claim they can do this work but not all can do it well. This company had the right experience and understood what I wanted. They have a reasonable assortment of colour flake variations from which to choose.
The home builder secured the wood steps to the wall making it impossible to remove without causing some damage and thus making the job a bit more difficult. However, the guys were able to work around the steps to finish underneath as best they could. They were diligent and the end result looks great.
Concrete Inspirations are not the cheapest but I believe the adage ‘you get what you pay for’ applies here. I recommend them and would use them when we move again.
To answer some questions on durability and maintenance:
1. Do not drag sharp objects across the surfaces as it can scratch the surface.
2. Do not allow solvent-based or citrus based products to sit on the surface.
3. Promptly remove spills and contaminants on surface. Floor can be washed with mild detergent products 8 parts water with 1 part soap.
For deeper cleaner or for excess debris, these floors can be mopped, squeegeed or lightly power washed.
4. Grease/oil deposits are best attacked with Tri-Sodium Phosphate or a commonly available biodegradable cleaner.
5. Avoid putting paint on the floor, clean up immediately before the paint dries if spilled.
6. To clean large particles of dirt, vacuum with a soft brush attachment. Should you opt to vacuum floor, the floor maintenance equipment should be equipped with 3M white pads (non-silconized), to prevent surface scratching.
The staff are knowledgeable and the store offers a wide variety of flooring options. We had a small problem with a section of our flooring after install and they went out of their way to fix the problem and ensure we were happy customers with beautiful flooring.
Our second stop was here and by far much better help and service. Thank you Carolyn for your help.

We've lived in our home for over 20 years and really wanted to have a bit of a facelift so we decided to call some places to get quotes on flooring. Out of all the companies I called, Irene and Josue impressed us so much. (One company quoted me over the phone without even seeing the floor!)I emailed them in the morning and Irene emailed me back promptly and asked if they could come by that day to see the floors. They called me again ahead of their arrival to confirm I was home.Josue and Irene both came to quote the job. They were professional and very amicable.We were surprised with Josue's work ethic, working diligently from 7:30 to 5:30. By the end of the first day, the floors were all sanded and I was shocked at the efficiency of his machinery... hardly any dust created! By the end of the second day, floors were cleaned and he hand sanded difficult areas like around the fireplace. The final day, floors were stained and a sealant was applied. I've included before and after pictures.We appreciated the service provided...very attentive and eager to ensure that we were satisfied with the work done.I don't usually write Google reviews but this company's customer service (before, during and after) has been outstanding we love our new floors! I wouldn't hesitate to have them in again!

We had a nasty wasps' nest under our backyard deck. The deck was flush to the ground and not accessible without ripping up the boards. We tried sealing the "main" entrance and caulking the slats. Then we put tarps and rugs on the deck and hung wasp traps. In hindsight, we were no competition and it was a futile effort. They were constantly finding new entrances. My only regret was not calling sooner. One treatment only. Ecopest was the epitome of professionalism and extremely reasonable. Highly recommend them.

Bought a new house in NW Calgary -- needed some back yard maintenance as it was certainly neglected by the previous owners (clearly lots of dogs and damages) . A friend recommended "Frenchy" -- he came out, suggested a few ideas. We agreed on quite a bit of things; Tree Removal, portion of our Fence upgrade, landscaping and soil, and some minor repairs/removal.Frenchy was done in a weekend with everything cleaned up and "ready for use" -- We finally had a backyard we could begin to customize to our liking.

We hired Vivid Gardens to complete a Landscape Restoration project. After 25 years, we needed to revitalize our gardens. It was not a huge job, but the owner “Paul” said he could fit us in his company’s busy schedule. Paul and his team did a great job in transforming our yard! He was knowledgeable on what shrubs needed extensive pruning to be revitalized. Previous landscapers always did a cursor job but Paul got right in there, identifying branch by branch on what needed to go and what needed to stay. A large part of our requirements was to remove weed-block and rocks from each garden bed and replace it with a specialty bled mulch. Not a fun task for any landscaper but his team happily completed despite the smoky conditions. The schedule had to be extended due to the air quality and enormity of the task, but Paul committed to the original price quoted. He will not leave your property until we were completely satisfied. In this day in age, you do not find many companies left that still believe in “delighting the customer”. We will be contracting Vivid Gardens to do future work and highly recommend Paul for your landscaping needs.

The whole process was seamless. Called for quote, immediate response and had had someone over within a couple days to look at the tree and send a quote. Came out within a week and trimmed a huge tree over top of our patio and deck with no issue or damages. Cleaned up great and were gone before I was home from work. 10/10 would recommend.

They work as a team to provide all encompassing care and a sustainable program for getting me back to myself!
As someone that has hypermobility (EDS), Dr Nykola is very knowledgeable and takes extra care when I visit, which is a must for the condition where my joints are unstable. I have been having pain for years and the daily impact it has been significantly reduced since seeing Dr Nykola for the last 8months. His method of treatment is not something I’ve come across before with other Chiro’s but it includes myofascial release (massage with dynamic movement for us mere mortals) as well as adjustments. He’s very proactive and professional and only suggests I book in extra in conjunction of pain flare ups rather than unnecessarily. Could not recommend enough!

She is professional, listens to my needs, and really knows how to work out those really stubborn knots. Westmount has been providing excellent care to our critters for over 8 years. Staff are kind and knowledgeable and I always recommend this clinic. There is ample parking (though it should be noted that the intersection can be a bit tricky during rush hour but that's a Kensington thing).
This review is for Dr. Stacy. When we moved away from Calgary, we were worried we couldnt find another good doctor for our boy Loki like Dr. Stacy in the new city. She was so patient and gentle with Loki since we first brought him in when he was a few months old. Dr. stacy would sit on the ground while checking on Loki. She always gave the best advice and provided useful tips to new dog parents like us. Loki now is under good care of new doctor in the new place, but we forever appreciate Dr. Stacy and her team for the kindness and care they gave to Loki.
This team!!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful this team is with my dog. They always treat him like family and are so accommodating. I am so lucky to have Cambrian for veterinary care for my dog.
Excellent care for both our dog and cat from the team at Edgemont. Our dog is so excited to come here that we can barely contain her when we do. Even our cat who has a history of, shall we say, extreme violence when being placed on the exam table seemed to be comfortable with her experience here.
Prices are comparable to other city clinics, but I find that they are not as eager to push unnecessary services compared to some of the franchised alternatives.

We are so grateful for the kind and compassionate care our little chihuahua, Dulcie, received from Dr. Leboldus and her team at The Canyon Meadows Veterinary Clinic.
Each time we visited for Dulcie’ s regular mani/pedis to trim her claws the staff were genuinely happy to see our little dog. Their care and affection for her was very obvious.
As Dulcie experienced more and more medical issues Dr Leboldus worked closely with us to make sure we gave her the best possible quality of life. She was excellent at explaining the variety of options available for treating Dulcie. She was very good at discussing the cost of treatment options and was so considerate of us as we made our decisions and always supported the decisions we made.
Last month, when the time came to euthanize Dulcie, the whole clinic team did a wonderful job creating a peaceful last sleep for our pup and gave us both the space and support we needed during this sad time.
We cannot recommend highly enough the whole team at Canyon Meadows Clinic.

My cat has diabetes, I had been seeing another vet for him and his condition. I was not feeling confident about the support my cat was getting and for his and my benefit I decided to get a second opinion. I’m glad I did. I’m feeling more confident for my cat again, Dr. Mahsa, seems to recognize what may be needed and possible options to ensure my boy is getting what he needs to maintain his diabetes and to stay with me given his health and it’s limitations with diabetes. He’s only 12 and I don’t want to lose him, before I was feeling I might. Now I feel hopeful again.
I have now taken one of my other cats to Centre Street. She's very old, 19 this year. I worry as she ages that she still has a quality of life and that I keep her as healthy as possible. Planning and helping was given to do so. It was reassuring for me again, the attentiveness from Dr. Mahsa but also the other doctor who called the next day after the tests, to give me the information. My cats are well taken care of now, and has made a difference.
Amazing services. Dr. Dand and his team have been our vet for well over 20 years. The services are top notch. Professional and most of all, caring. Having patients that can't talk and tell you what is wrong makes the reason to ensure you have the best vet care possible. This is the place!

Lisa is an amazing woman. I took my rescue Chip in to have a groom along with my mom's pup. I figured it would turn out like previous grooms where they couldn't finish because he was so scared, but Lisa was so amazing that this tiny 2 pound rescue now walks right in through her door for his grooming. Lisa is so kind and gentle, she not only loves each pup, but she takes time to get to know each client and you walk out as her friend. I am so grateful for Lisa.
This was our first time taking our 13-year-old cat to Tails a Waggin, and it was fantastic! Everyone there was so kind and clearly took great care of our boy. They also shared helpful suggestions for maintaining his coat and were incredibly professional throughout. We felt very comfortable leaving him in their care and will definitely be going back! ?
My senior boy has been going to Central Bark for a few months now; they take amazing care of him - making sure he has enough water and helping him about when he stumbles. I can tell they care for him as much as I do - which is a huge comfort when I have to go into the office. The daily report cards with photos of his day always bring a smile to my face. They go the extra mile to care for the pets in their care.

First time here and it was my micro bernedoodles first haircut at 6mths old. They did a cute teddybear cut & took great care of her. I was nervous to cut all her hair off but they really put me at ease. Bonus: she was all tuckered out when we got home from her new friends at the daycare. Will be back for sure!
May has been our groomer for our dog since he was a puppy! Since day one she’s been so kind to his reactivity and treats him with so much patience. We’ve brought multiple of our dogs to her, and the love truly is so consistent with all the dogs we bring her. She truly is a rare type of groomer, so grateful that Mochi is her client :-)

The instruction, knowledge and care at ADirection is top notch - this is not your average Pilates studio. I had stopped hiking and skiing due to injuries and arthritis, and was dealing with a lot of pain before I started Pilates. Now I’m back to all my sports and feel so much stronger and better. A year ago after visiting multiple doctors and physiotherapists for pain from a undetected fracture in my tarsalia and excruciating pain in my lower back I met Anna who suggested I should try clinical essential movement. From my first treatment on I felt welcomed, taken seriously and being treated very kindly and knowledgeable. Anna listened when my boundaries were reached always tried to find another way to make movement possible and encouraged me to not give up. After 3 sessions the pain in my food was so manageable that I could pick up walking again, after a few more sessions it disappeared completely. It took a while longer to deal with my chronic lower back pain. I joint her online group classes which are super enjoyable. She guides you through each movement with clear easy to understand instructions. After each session there is a quick feedback round where you can clarify any questions you might have. Within a year the combination of clinical treatment, online classes and practice at home helped me to be able to do a short hike back country camping trip with a 12 kg back pack on my back. A year ago I would have laughed had someone told me that I would be able to do this again. I am very grateful for the high quality of Anna's medical treatments and her online classes.You have nothing to loose but your pain - try it!

PT Purvi Met with my daughter and spent A good amount of time understanding her concerns. The assessment showed the area that needed working on and she got right to a period.

It was my dad's 1st appointment and Mahveen has been one of the sweetest kindest person to work with. She was very gentle with my dad, very detailed in the exercises provided to him, was very helpful and patient with my dad. There is always a noticeable improvement, often after just the first visit. They come home with little to no pain and are able to get back to doing what they love. Pamela alone, I would have given 5 stars. I gave 4 because of the process of setting the appointment up through Renewal Wellness. It seemed to be a bit complex and lengthy - completing forms that didn't relate to the service I had requested. I can appreciate that is their policy, but seems a bit over the top just to get a reading done.

Another AMAZING treatment from Dr Zhao today! Crashed on my mountain bike last summer and have struggled with rehabbing my shoulder ( seen physio and neuropathy physician with very poor results). Been for several acupuncture treatments at Apple Blossom Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine. Christianne does tui na, gua sha, facial rejuvenation and fire cupping. Treatments are $130-155 for 90 min, $90-130 for 60 min.
Tried facial rejuvenation acupuncture ($135 for 90 min) and acupuncture 90 ($130 for 90 min). Facial acu was very gentle (needles and light cupping). Regular acu was needling, then ending with a good pressured massage.
I had an appointment with Igor who is a message therapist at inner wellness clinic. I must say i had one of the best massage experience so far . He was really good and i will recommend him to try out .
Instructed J Sidhu is a great instructor, he taught me ho to park and drive and when I made mistake he taught me how to do it properly/better instead of just yelling at me. I recommend him to everyone

I was a student at this school in December, and I feel very happy with my moms choice to send me here.
The classroom portion was quick and easy; I took in person classes for 2 days and passed the exam on day 2 with no problem. I found this to be much more effective than taking an online driving course, which took my peers months to get through.
I very quickly got started on the driving portion, and my instructor Hannah was amazing. I had never driven before, and over the course of 5 days, we gradually built up all the skills I needed at a reasonable and considerate pace. Every class, Hannah was professional, encouraging, and patient. I grew confident in my ability to drive, and with some additional practice, I passed the class 5 drivers test first try with no problems. I thank this school for teaching me so well, and I definitely recommend it to those who seek a fast, uncomplicated, and positive approach to drivers ed.

My daughter Annika had a great experience with Derek Brown's Academy of Driving. Her instructor Qusay Majeed was an excellent instructor. He took the time to explain things carefully and even taught things that were not specifically in the book. We would definitely recommend him to anyone that wants to learn standard transmission. Derek Brown is one of few driving schools that still teach manual.
I am giving 5 stars to Manjit for his excellent teaching and dedication. I recently completed my Class 3 road test and pre-trip inspection, and I passed both on my first attempt thanks to his guidance.
Manjit is a very knowledgeable, patient, and hardworking instructor. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and ensures his students are well prepared. One thing I really appreciated was that he created instructional videos and shared them with us so we could continue practicing at home.

I did the 2hr Class 6 refresher course with Ismail. It prepared me well. We practiced all the things that would be on the road test. Ismail purposely held the 2hr course in the area where I booked the road test. He also helped by advising I ride a motorcycle I had ridden for my MSF course (Suzuki dr200s) rather than doing the refresher on the motorcycle I had booked through the registry (Suzuki XV250). He also made sure I was able to ride the Suzuki dr200s for my road test instead of the cruiser (which I was less comfortable on) that the registry had available through their booking form. I passed! Sundeep is amazing. I hadn’t driven in a few years and all my driving experience was in another country, so I was quite insecure trying to drive again. Sundeep was patient and accommodating, and she tailored every class to practice exactly what I needed or felt insecure about. Highly recommended!

Completed my airbrake and class 3 with Frank's school. Business gets a 3, Asim the instructor gets a 5, average it to 4. I hope he gets recognition for being such a positive representation of the business that had given me some worries, specifically in regards to scheduling practice for class 3 which never happened, I ended up being ghosted on that. That being said, good work Asim and thanks again.
