I recently went to a group on fb to ask about the process to install sub panels and costs. A received a lot of comments, some where people just dropped their name and said they can do it, and others who blabbed on about nothing and showed their arrogance. Then D.J. responded with an explanation with common sense and decency, and he did not speak to me in a condescending manner. I was especially happy with D.J walking me through the options and discussion some challenges regarding routing wiring. Best of all D.J. was willing to install a newer EV Load management system along with my EV charger, this is new in Calgary and Inspectors are not familiar. D.J. went to bat for me and educated the inspectors on the value and compliance of this system. It reduced install cost (my 100A panel was near-full on load calcs), allows me to charge at a high rate and gives me wonderful insight into my home power usage.
