“We were fortunate enough to find CDL for a large flooring project a couple of months ago after doing quite a bit of research on both products and local flooring companies.

The showroom is beautiful and well kept, and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and quick to answer any questions we had. They also had some fantastic recommendations. After taking numerous samples home and laying them out to see how they worked with our cabinets and paint colours, we felt confident moving forward with CDL.

We did run into a few obstacles during the installation, but the team at CDL — Alex, Angela, Stephanie, Wayne, Colin, and anyone else I may be forgetting — were on top of things and genuinely made an effort to ensure we were satisfied with the finished product.

I won’t get into the details of the installation challenges, but my biggest recommendation would be to communicate throughout the process with the team on site and make sure your expectations are aligned with the work they’re planning to complete. And if you’re replacing carpet with LVP, don’t skip on raising the subfloor! Also, be mindful of transitions to tile, and be prepared to do a little DAP-ing and touch-up work on your baseboards after they inevitably get moved around.

Arlin was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to deal with throughout the entire process. I explained the scope of my project, what I was trying to accomplish, and the budget I was working with. He was able to recommend several luxury vinyl plank options that fit what I needed without putting any pressure on me or simply steering me toward the most expensive product.
