“We woke up in the new year to lukewarm water for our showers. Our original water tank (28 yrs old) was making all kinds of noises and it was only a matter of time before it quit altogether or worse, burst and send water all over the furnace room. I called Precision in the morning of Jan 3 and they said they could have someone out later in the afternoon. I had previously asked for a quote for various replacement options. We went ahead with one of the options. Because the quote was a few months old, I was given the updated prices for the new year. Zac was great. Within 2 hrs the old tank was removed and replaced with the new one. He left the area clean and made sure to wipe off his boots when coming in and out of the house with the new tank and taking out the old. No hidden costs on the final bill. Would highly recommend Precision for any plumbing needs.“
“We have two old furnaces in our home. One died during our -40 cold snap on a Sunday morning. It just so happened that it was the last day of the Home Show in Calgary.We went to this show and visited every furnace show space. Within a few hours I decided Shiftair was the choice. Dan and Brent were very information and had answered all our questions with detail. Dan came by our home on Monday to do an assessment and provided an estimate. They arranged for Brady, Daniel and Carter to start the install two days later. These guys are very friendly and focused on doing a professional install. I also threw out a bunch of questions and they were happy to answer them.Once the install was complete, the City Inspector dropped by to approve the work. There were a few very minor adjustments that needed to be made, one including access to the roof. As soon as the snow melted from the roof, Shiftair was back at our home to make the minor tweaks.Oh, and by the way, the furnaces work great!We highly recommend Shiftair“

“I woke the other morning to the furnace not working properly on a cold day. I phoned the company at 7:30 a.m. and the call was answered immediately. Information was taken and passed on to the technicians. The cost of the call out was communicated. I was called within 2 hours and given 45 minute notice of arrival time. The technician was efficient and identified the problem quickly. A part had to be obtained and he provided me with the estimate. He was gone about 1.5 hours, returned and had the part installed within 15 minutes. Tested the system and all was functioning properly. Very happy with the service.“

Punctual, considerate, thorough and went above and beyond.We had our furnace give out he was recommended by friends. He was contacted in the late evening and showed up early the next morning to give a full inspection and break down of everything going on with our unit. Pascal walked us through all the issues, ensured we understood the situation fully and left us with comprehensive write up and understanding of the problem.Though the news was unfortunate and we needed a full replacement, we felt comfortable that he was being fully transparent with us. Once he left, I research the furnace we decided to go with, the Diakin modulating furnace, and he was quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. “Scott Cuthbert at Cuthbert Plumbing & Heating: competent expert advice, immediate service, & fair pricing.We have a Knight Lochinvar boiler for our in-floor heating. Although we had the boiler serviced in August 2023 (every 2 years), in December 2023 the boiler indicated a problem. (Along story short- it hadn’t been service correctly.) We called 4 companies. Scott Cuthbert called immediately and went in to inspect the unit the following day. He repaired the unit within the next week (including obtaining the necessary parts, and installation). Total cost of repair: $1,300 (versus $13,000 replacement, recommended by our original maintenance company.We highly recommend Scott and Cuthbert Plumbing and will be calling him for all future boiler maintenance and plumbing issues.Thank you Scott. “Early 2024...I just had Knight in for a couple of jobs in the house we just moved into. Their plumber Mike did a great job...I'd have him back with no reservations whatsoever. He scoped out the 2 jobs I wanted done, explained exactly what he was going to do, and then got it all done fairly quickly. He then showed me the finished work and explained things to look out for going forward. He even answered a couple questions I had about other plumbing devices in the utility room that I didn't know what they were. Great job, Mike...it was a 5-star experience for me, and Knight are now my go-to Plumbing and HVAC company!“
