With 25 years of experience she recommended an adaptation to a photo of a cut i brought and proceeded to cut my hair in a very flattering, updated way. “I got my hair done with Kris, and she was awesome!

I can be pretty socially awkward and get uncomfortable when meeting new people. I looked up the staff at karma on their “meet the team” page and read about a few of the people there. Kris stood out to me because it seemed like we might have some things in common and at least that way I could have something to talk about without making horribly awkward small talk about the weather.

We had loads in common and even more so, she was able to match my energy when I got quiet and didn’t have the battery to stay engaged. The silence was comfortable and I didn’t feel like there was any expectation on me go help keep the conversation going. It was really nice. My anxiety really appreciated it.

On top of that- she went over my hair goals, set realistic expectations for what could be done in a single sitting, set out a plan, and talked about price point all before even starting. It was really nice to have all that information up front and not have to make any big decisions on the fly or last minute. She knew what she was doing with hair colour and how to care for the hair I have.

End of the day- I love my colour and cut, my hair feels amazing and looks great! But even better? I also actually enjoyed my time sitting in the chair and being in the building. The vibes were great.
