“I’m writing this post to say how pleased my husband and I were with Lani. We are seniors and this was our first time in asking for help from Just Like Family.This lovely lady had a work ethic when it came to housecleaning that was fantastic. We live in a 4 bedroom up and down duplex and Lani was able to get 3 loads of laundry done, upstairs vacuumed, floors washed as needed, 2 bathrooms done, dusting if needed. Lani also helped me with getting foam cut to fit on the handles of my walker as my arthritis was making my hands hurt. Lani helped me look through boxes that were to go donation to make sure the items were all for the Drop Inn Centre. She was kind with my husband who has depression and often worried that we were asking her to do too much. Lant would kid him saying she would tell him when it was too much. Lani even picked up coffee and some breakfast for us at the A&W near our house.Lani helped me to get shredding done, or sorting out paperwork in between her chores. Lani was patient and kind and we were very glad for all the times she came to clean. Lani needed a day off as she works at another job too. That day was Thursday and unfortunately for us that was also our day for her to come. We miss Lani very much and understand how much she needed her time off.
