“We contacted Building Works after discovering some black mold in our basement storage room. Tim Chapman came out to assess the issue and recommend the best way to fix the issue that caused the mold and to safely remove the mold that we had discovered.The job involved removing two basement walls, carrying out mold remediation, spray foam insulation, and rebuilding walls. I also added some minor electrical and plumbing that I wanted done at the same time in other parts of the house.All work was carried out by employees of Building Works. They were always there on time or early. They were great at keeping the worksite clean and tidy at the end of each day as well.After the second day of work I noticed a few issues with the work that I wasn't entirely happy with. I brought these to Tims attention. He took notes on everything I said and had all of my concerns addressed to my complete satisfaction over the next two days. Thanks especially to Mark, Pav and Baggy for a job well done.I would not hesitate to have Building Works in my home again should any future needs arise.“

“We’d engaged Direct Restoration, initially speaking with Derek for an estimate which was completely reasonable, to restore and repair manifold ceilings and walls in our home after the heartache and chaos of a Poly-B (boo!!!) plumbing rip-and-replace project. The guys from DR were absolutely fabulous, and I mean everyone! The repairs they did (Quan and David) were impeccable and perfect, down to texturing and colour-matching. They did a massive amount of work, completed it on time, and under the estimate. You’d honestly never know that any damage had ever occurred, and this included a job I thought would have been impossible to pull-off (repair to a California knock-down textured ceiling—they did a blend that’s completely invisible). Even the ladies who followed-up with a deep-clean were wonderful and unbelievably conscientious. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would; I recommend these folks unreservedly!“

“Dropped off dry cleaning for the first time and I was immediately impressed, before even stepping inside, by the offer they make to people looking for employment. They’re offering to dry clean clothes for free that someone may need for a job interview! What a wonderful and kind gesture! Then I was greeted by this lovely lady behind the counter. She was a ray of sunshine and so pleasant. I felt good at having chosen this dry cleaner and once I picked up our clothes, I knew I had made the right choice. Clothes were perfect and the price was reasonable. They are definitely now my go to dry cleaners and I’ll be recommending them to anyone looking for a great dry cleaner“
