Where do I start. I am a mother of 6 and a grandmother to 7 amazing littles, I have serious anxiety, and deal with heavy depression as of the last few years, I struggle with going out, but really struggle with doing things for myself. I have been wanting to get just a basic hair trim for many years now, and my anxiety keeps me from doing so as not only is it stressful for me, I have had bad experiences in the past. I looked up this salon approximately six weeks ago and have had the number stored in my phone waiting for the right time to call, today was the day. DevaDave answered the call (quite literally). From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles, and infectious charisma and happiness. After struggling through a few minutes in my own mind and thoughts, I was welcomed to a chair and began immediately feeling as though this was comfortable, I started chatting with DevaDave about some struggles and life difficulties my family is going through, after many tears from myself and amazing words from DevaDave and his lovely Client (Miss😉) A, I was feeling lighter in more ways than just some dead ends, I asked my amount to pay and Miss A kindly replied to DevaDave that I would not be paying today, that she would be taking care of my haircut today…. My eyes swelled up again immediately, and I felt like I walked into a family that was welcoming me in. WOW I can’t say enough good things about this amazing place that DevaDave has created, the love and care that went into not only making me feel comfortable and okay with the whole process, the feeling of being welcomed and accepted was by far more powerful than I can put into words. ❤️
