Rivka is the best! I have been driving to Portland several times a year for 9 years to get my hair done because I had no luck finding a competent stylist in Bend, until I found Rivka! Her color is top notch. I am not ready to dive into gray hair, and she makes my hair color look like it always did! I love it, and appreciate the time and effort she takes to get the best color and cut that works for me! She is a gem!

I was diagnosed 15 years ago with severe sleep apnea. Initially the CPAP helped but symptoms worsened. I found the first night guard that prevented my mandible from sliding back, blocking my airway. I have had 4-5 of these devices since then and they have improved each generation. 3 Sisters dental has provided me the the best orthotic device I've ever had. Not only is the device itself excellent but the process was made flawless and even enjoyable do the professionalism of the Dr and staff. Highly recommend 3 sisters!

Can’t recommend Capacity enough! I’ve been battling some running injuries for what felt like the longer part of a year. I’d been to other PTs and saw no progress or improvement. Megan is incredible. I’ve never felt more confident with my hair and when I tell people I have extensions they have all been shocked (in that they can’t tell). Megan customizes the experience to get to perfect placement and has great tips and resources for maintaining hair. Her goal is to get your hair healthy. I also love love love the scalp steam and other special touches that occur during the appointment. Megan is super personable as well and I always have so much fun at our appointments. I couldn’t recommend Megan more!

I finally found a local barber that knows how to cut my hair and listen on how I wanted it cut. He even shaved me around the ears and neck with hot shaving cream and dash of bay rum after shave. I highly recommend Sal and I will be back!
Just got my hair cut at Brass Tacks on Division street and it may have been my best hair cut in the past 40 years. Great atmosphere and the website was easy to book my appointment. I’m going back and the price was totally reasonable to the point I enjoyed tipping.

My experience at The Barber House was nothing short of exquisite. The skilled and sure hand of Hayden Gartrell was deft in assuaging my concerns over my “Balding Spot”. The resulting haircut was one of distinction and splendor, the likes of which I have never experienced. I felt burst forth within my corporeal form a new wellspring of confidence. On leaving the establishment, I could sense both ogles and ganders on my newly shorn locks, once a dense copse but no more. I shall return with the foreknowledge my time will be one of comfort, my coif will be one of singularity and style. I do treasure the chance to again experience the fine craft of nimble fingered, sure-scissored Hayden Gartrell.

I’ve been coming here for years. They have never had A/C. The gals that work so hard here often have red faces and balmy skin from sweating.
Would be nice to see the store invest in a legit wall split A/C for them. I’ve been sitting here for a while next to the open door and it’s toasty in here.

I have been going to Freshly Filed for over four years, and I truly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my nails. My nail tech, Bre, is in a league of her own. Her attention to detail is unmatched—every line, every shape, every finish is absolute perfection. She has an incredible eye and steady hand, especially when it comes to hand painting nail art. She also can do the most stunning foil, chrome, and cat-eye polishes.
One of the things I love most is how she’ll custom mix colors by hand until it’s exactly the shade I’m envisioning. Whether I walk in with a photo, a vague idea, or just a mood, Bre brings it to life with skill and creativity that blows me away every time. The quality of her work consistently exceeds expectations, and my nails always last beautifully (about 4-6 weeks!!). I get nonstop compliments on my nails wherever I go!

Just got a haircut and highlights, I couldn’t be happier with the result! She did great on guy’s hair and gives the best scalp massages! The stylist really listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly that—clean, fresh, and easy to maintain. Alyssa was fantastic! The heated bed, music, kindness, and quality of her work was just all amazing. I got the lash lift and tint and the whole appointment I felt relaxed and in good hands. Until you get a pedicure with Connie, you might think $50 was high, but I would go back in a flash. I felt as though I had gone for a foot massage instead of a pedicure, and the great work on my toenails was just the frosting on the cake. Shag Salon is a huge place with high ceilings. It is beautiful, feels airy, and smells fresh.

My first time getting lashes was with Denise. I am so happy I did! The first week, I received compliments like crazy, and they were not about the lashes, although, really they were as that was the only thing that changed. The quality and service that I received from Denise is over and above expectations. She knows her field of expertise and really truly enjoys her profession. In regards to lashes she knows how to keep them from falling out. She suggested so many ways to extend duration of the lashes and what I could do at home. I love Bend Eyelash Extensions! Mel does such a great job. She is meticulous and I always love how amazing and natural my eyelashes look after. She is not the super bubbly talkative personality (which thank goodness not everyone has to be), but she is always nice, professional, takes her craft seriously and doesn’t waste time. This is my kinda vibe and is why I would recommend her to anyone. People always ask me if my lashes are real! Josh loved Pikachu ever since he was a little boy, and not only did Paige capture them perfectly, she was also able to oblige my request to mix in some of my sons ashes into the ink.

My husband has had a few sessions with Aaron. His black and gray tattoos have turned out just as we had hoped. Aaron has also been touching up a color piece thats about 15 years old. Its looking fresh and clean.
I've had two sessions with him, so far. He's working on a colored Legend of Zelda scene on my leg. He has made a ton of progress in the amount of time that he's put in. The colors look so good. He pays close attention to even the smallest detail. I am stoked with how its coming along.

My husband and I recently purchased our very first property that we are hoping to build our home on. We also purchased a new 31ft fifth wheel and have been looking forward to moving into it. Unfortunately after buying the property we have discovered that although we have electricity on site it is not wired for what we need. I panicked and began calling electricians. After some unfortunate run-ins with other companies who told me "they could not get to me until the middle of the next month," I lucked out when I called Quality Builders Electric. Harry returned my call the very next day to schedule me for the very next week. He even apologized for not being able to get to it sooner. He was very warm and very understanding of how dire our situation was. He even giggled when I told him I fried a circuit trying to use the blow dryer and then countered with a personal story of his own to make me not feel so bad. Terrific Customer Service!! He even told me he would try to make it down to our property later that day (a Friday) before he left for vacation to give me an estimate... FOR FREE!!! It just so happened that he had another electrician Kevin who was in my neck of the woods and told me he would be there by noon. Wow!!! Kevin was terrific as well. He fixed my circuit so that my husband and I had electricity until they could come out and install the 30 amp plug that we need. Hands down Harry and Kevin are amazing and I can only imagine that the rest of their coworkers are equally as astonishing. THANK YOU Quality Builders Electric Inc. I am garbage truck driver and had some broken wires affecting the functions of my truck. I came across Ron while I was on route, and he was on the jobsite. I asked if he could repair my broken wires, and without hesitation he said he would grab his tools and get it fixed. He had absolutely no reason to help me with my issue, but he went out of his way fixed my broken wires. There are still good people in the world. Thankyou Ron, I appreciate your kindness.

We had our new granite countertops treated by Josh about a week after they were installed. He answered any questions we had and explained a few things about cleaning granite tops. About a week after he did the treatment we thought we saw a spot that got missed and contacted Josh. My wife and I have 22 year old white kitchen cabinets covered with thermafoil that was beginning to peel. Brock and Steve replaced all the cabinet doors and drawers and added panels on the sides of the cabinets. The soft-close drawers have improved hardware. All in all we are very pleased with the work, which went quite smoothly.

Someone came out and measured my flooring for a refinish quote about a week ago, I never got a call or email back. I emailed asking if they had written down the wrong email, never got a response. If you didn't want the job, say you don't want the job. Changed my rating, the owner did contact me shortly after I posted the review.
I discovered this hidden gem today at the recommendation of the the guy doing my install. He said go see Dave, he knows everything about everything flooring. I called ahead to make sure Dave was there and spoke to Zach who was super helpful, very professional and listened to my story being south of Sunriver and and wanted to meet Dave and discuss my situation. Zach confirmed he was at the store so I drove in.
Dave answered all my questions from product need to prep to fixing the squeak in the floor all with an unassuming air that made me feel like I found the holy grail of flooring. Skip the big box stores and go to T&A, you'll be glad you did.
This review is long overdue.Last year we were looking to replace the carpet in our living room with the same pinewood flooring we had in the rest of our house. Josh came out to the house and was able to locate and order matching flooring that was delivered in a timely manner.After installation the challenge was trying to match the color of the finish of the 20 year old flooring. Josh spent a long time trying to match the color and because of the age of the finish was not successful. As it became obvious that our only option was to refinish all the floors, Josh offered to do the job for a reasonable price and did the work the following week thanks to a cancelation in his schedule.Bottom line, the floors are beautiful and Josh went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I loved the finished product. I cant recommend Broadside Reclaimed Hardwoods enough.

Justin is a Bend native and is very knowledgeable. Veek's always did a great job on my lawn maintenance. Their crews were always on time and left my yard clean. I've also used them for irrigation projects and blowouts. Both of which I was very pleased with.
After spending a lot of money on landscaping with little to show for it because companies' made mistakes with irrigation and plant choices which left only a few healthy ones, I told the city I was going to pave the property over into a concrete slab.
Only after my handyman offered a plan and a neighbor transplanted some of her cool plant in my yard, I decided to give it one more chance. Enter, Sarah, owner of Bend Pine Nursery. Unlike the arrogant irrigation specialist from one of the companies who made many mistakes, Sarah, despite her years of experience, treated me with compassion and understanding when I expressed distrust based on my negative experiences. She actively listened to what I wanted, unlike another company that pressured me repeatedly to do something I hadn't planned on and would decrease my planting budget.
Unlike other companies who substituted plants without informing me, Sarah consulted me and offered choices. She had her great crew: Tyler, Koda, and Brandon fix some of what another company did. One company sold me two expensive trees that deer really like. That company didn't protect the trunks and they almost died. Sarah had the crew protect the trunks with an unobtrusive trunk protector. She completely redid all of the irrigation so the plants would get water based on their needs. I especially liked how she created habitats using the plants, the wood, and the rocks in my yard. In the winter my yard was stark, but she suggested some small evergreens so there would be signs of life during those dark days.
Highly responsive and good to communicate. Mike and his team are very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable with the scope of work, kept in touch and worked hard to get me scheduled timely. The crew was skilled and did a great job following instruction, providing helpful input and cleaning up very well when finished. I had some big trees removed and they made it look easy and were reasonably priced.

As usual, Dr Pope knew exactly how to adjust my back to relieve the pressure. I have very bad back pain, and he always makes me feel better when I leave. He's the best, and I highly recommend his services.

I recently had the opportunity to utilize Dr. Plasker's Decompression Clinic. The technique was amazing, thoroughly relaxing and pointed out some areas that I needed to stretch more. Dr. Plasker took the time to answer all of my questions about the technique and was very knowledgeable and insightful. You can tell he has a strong passion for helping people. I went for a maintenance adjustment nothing in particular and while I was there, I mentioned I had a broken ankle a year before that was still swelling and painful sometimes. Dr. Toby worked on my ankle for a short period of time and later that day, I realized that it was no longer swollen, and this day has not resumed hurting now that’s what I call a good maintenance. Thank you so much Dr. Toby you are the best.
I’m really thankful that I found B-Line clinic and Dr. Erich. He is a wealth of knowledge, and has built a clinic that has so many critical tools and modalities for a wide range of patients: athletes recovering from injuries, patients managing complex chronic conditions, and patients that have had strokes or TBIs. I primarily use the hyperbaric chambers and PEMF, and the quality of the equipment he brought into his practice for those items is top notch. The equipment is selected not only for its efficacy and safety, but with the ability to tailor and customize the treatment levels based on very specific patient needs. That, coupled with Dr. Erich’s knowledge about how best to apply those tools, is such a valuable resource. I recommend his practice to anyone in need of this type of care!
I recently saw Dr. Gavin and he treated me for lower back stiffness and pain. After the first treatment, I seriously was dumbfounded by how much better I felt!
My pain was gone and I could get up from a sitting position without needing to stretch out before I took my first step. I had no idea that relief could be so easy! Apparently you can get knots in your lower back just like you can in your shoulders. Go figure!?
I went for my second visit a week later and it was the dot on the I !!!

The best dermatologist I’ve ever had. I struggled with acne for years (I’m a woman in my mid-30s), and nothing seemed to work. It would occasionally clear up for a couple of weeks but I’d always end up with more breakouts.
Erin was recommended to me by an esthetician who suggested my acne might be linked to my gut. Erin really takes time to understand my lifestyle and how my body functioned as a whole. She’s also very cost-conscious and helps find effective alternatives to more expensive products, which I really appreciated. I loved working with her to treat from the inside out and not just treating topically.
I had a particularly stubborn case of acne that took a couple of years to fully figure out, but today my skin is clear. I can’t overstate how amazing it feels to not constantly worry about breakouts.

Bend Animal Hospital is simply the BEST. We’ve been taking our mini Ausie there for 9 years. They actually saved her life awhile ago with an emergency surgery for female parts. I’m forever indebted to them. She’s my shadow. Being retired now we spend a lot of Quality time together.

I have now been to Elevate on multiple occasions. Repeatedly I am impressed and incredibly appreciative of their efforts. Working with dogs is no easy feat. Owners can be complicated. Dogs can't speak English and sometimes try to bite your head off. As someone who comes from a family who owns a dog care business and run a dog rescue, some places just have that IT factor. Elevate has the IT!
Special shoutout to Kaleigh. I've never met a Vet Tech who radiated the passion you'd only hope for from the person caring for your dog.
Dr. Jacoby & Sheen are well informed, have great bedside manners and have built a very respectable practice. The space is clean and good looking. The office staff are enthusiastic, helpful and very kind. Life happens and instead of being upset or punitive, they're collaborative and compassionate.

Great vet! I brought a young cat in with bloody diarrhea. He took the time to explain all the possible causes of the symptoms. And he explained the testing needed to determine what was the real problem. He was very thorough.
Best vet clinic I've ever been too they are nice and help with any questions asked and they also occasionally have an adorable pup you can give a treat too while checking in. Always work with us on schedule for visits and they take care credit making it easier to get in for his appointments and not worry. Dr Tennant has excellent listening and communication skills. She is very sensible in her care recommendations. She treats our pets as if they are her own.
I find Dr Rex to be a wonderful caring vet. He tells you direct what is wrong with your pet and the alternatives to help them. They are fairly priced for their care. I will recommend them to anyon.
Brookswood got us in for a drop-off appointment last week, even though their schedule was full. They were able to see our dog inbetween regularly scheduled appointments and diagnose what was going on with her. Brookswood continues to be caring, attentive, and friendly, and provides good care to our pets.
I’ve been taking Beans to see Jessie for over a year now and she has always been friendly and professional. She’s promt of returning calls and great at sending reminders of appointments. Beans always looks so handsome and happy after his groomings, ready to show off how good he looks. I would, and already have, recommended Jessie for their dog grooming needs.
Brittany is awesome and always does a great job with our wiggly and miscevious westie, Grace. This might sound silly but its great that she always comes out looking like herself and not just a cookie cutter trim like you get other places.

Of the 3 studios this is my favorite, but probably bc it’s closest to my house 🙃. The reformers are larger and give a good base for all those elevator moves! I love the esthetic in the studio. Added bonus-coffee is 50 feet away! Definitely give this studio a try!
My first time doing pilates was great with Debby. I was in a small group with 4 other women. Debby explained every stretch and exercise clearly and without judgement. I enjoyed the class and will defintely go back.
I have been taking Pilates faithfully for 20 years, and, at 75, I attribute it to my continued strength, fitness and well-being. When I moved to Bend 7 years ago, I tried a couple of studios that did not meet my high standards. Then I found Move Pilates Bend and have taken classes there twice a week ever since. It’s a lovely small studio with great equipment and excellent teachers. The classes are small, no more than five in a class, so we all receive lots of personal attention to ensure our safety and maximize physical benefits. I wouldn’t take Pilates anywhere else.
As someone who hated PE and excercise for most my life, I can say without a doubt that I love Pilates! Specially Bend Club Pilates and all the wonderful instructors that make it fun and informative to what muscles we should be feeling. Taking a class is 50-minutes where the focus is on myself 🫶

Can’t recommend Capacity enough! I’ve been battling some running injuries for what felt like the longer part of a year. I’d been to other PTs and saw no progress or improvement. Lindsey was able to address my problem instantly and give me the proper exercises to fix it. Her and the rest of the staff are incredible, and they have a super cool gym/mural inside!
I had a long term challenge with plantar fasciitis. Dr. Z, Dr. Heidi, and the PT assistant were persistent and thorough with my care. They were able to help me get the problem solved.

I went to Dr. Anna with almost two years of chronic back pain after a disc herniation injury related to running over time. She took so much time and care to listen and make a plan. After several sessions, my back pain was significantly reduced. My mobility and pain remains much improved and am able to be more active again. I would highly recommend her, she is very talented and a wonderful human.

I first started visiting Manny to try Rolfing- I am on my 9th session and I genuinely feel my body’s relationship to standing and navigating movement has changed. Each time I’ve come in, I feel I am more connected to the ground and not fighting against gravity. Manny really takes the time to educate me as well.
I also have now been seeing Chris for a month. She makes me feel heard and cared for. Her presence is comforting and my nervous system relaxes every time I come in. I will fall asleep within minutes each time I receive acupuncture from her, and I walk out with significantly decreased pain and discomfort. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled.
