We built our home about 15 years ago. We had to replace the water tank twice in the last 3 years. Each time we had minor flooding in the basement and had to wait a long time for the plumber to show up and for the new water tank to arrive. When it went out a 3rd time we decided to replace plumbers. I contacted Shorty at Metolious River Plumbing. He seemed knowledgeable so we hired him. He did a great job. We recently had a problem with our radiant floor heating system not activating when cold weather arrived. Shorty dialed in my solar/propane hot water and radiant floor heating system and improved the original functionality to where it is much more energy efficient. He also solved a complicated intermittent problem where the boiler would not always start. He really knows boilers and radiant systems inside out and backwards. Shorty was very friendly, super knowledgeable and able to resolve the hot water heater issues that two other plumbing companies could not. The other companies provided me with a blanket statement of "it's probably this", billed me and left me with a broken hot water heater. Shorty actually listened to me about the issues I experienced and tested things to confirm the problem. His recommendation fixed the problem and it ended up being a cheaper solution than what the other companies recommended.
