I went to the clinic and saw a new Vet today . I had previously seen someone at the clinic for the same two major issues a year ago. My previous Vet made very detailed notes, which really aided me in my recent visit for those same issues. I am very pleased with both visits. We are currently trying new possible solutions! I am confident that we are going to have a resolve for my dogs issues!
My puppy got into my older dogs cardiac meds and ate the entire bottle ( 50 pills!). I searched for “emergency vets near me” in bend and this was the first that came up. I called frantically on the way driving to the place to confirm I could bring him emergently and they told me to bring him on in. They were very nice and saw him promptly. She told me his heart rate was about 250 at the time of assessment. The doctor was very kind but stated that she had to leave the office for a short time and would be back soon. The staff and Dr Johnston are the most caring, loving, kind at Central Oregon Animal Hospital. Everyone makes you feel very comfortable. Dr Johnston explains everything in detail and never rushes you. He treated our dog as though it was his own. I highly recommend Dr. Johnston and the Central Oregon Animal Hospital.
Our dog Sam passed away last October.
We now have a new puppy 12 weeks old and would not have anyone but Dr David Johnston see our pup, Jeb. Dr Johnston is the kindest nicest person! So caring. We highly recommend him.
