“I went to Dr. Dishman initially because I was interested in acupuncture to help with my bodies inflammation. Instead of just doing the acupuncture, she wanted to figure out WHAT was causing the inflammation. I've never had a dr. try to figure out the root of the problem--I am so use to just trying to treat the symptoms. After a bunch of blood test I found out that I have a gluten allergy. All these years of upset stomach, cramps, bloating, sluggish feelings--GONE! I had no idea that gluten was an issue for me, but rather thought my stomach issues were just another fun thing my mom passed down to me. While I miss gluten, I certainly do not miss the way that it made me feel. I am so thankful for Dr. Dishman for wanting to find out the cause & not just treating the symptom.“
