“When I lived in Seattle several years ago I stumbled into having an excellent barber. He had done hair for rock bands, once going on tour with the Warped Tour, and at one point I couldn't get in to see him because he was apparently on tour with Justin Bieber. All of that to say, that gave me a high bar when I left Seattle, and was trying to find somewhere to get a consistently good men's cut. When I arrived in Bend, I tried several places and was unimpressed until I got a cut from Kascey who worked at a different establishment at the time. One day he no longer was there, and I almost panicked. But I'm glad to see he's still in town, and at Mint now. He gives a consistently great men's haircut - and he's also a nice guy. If you're looking for the best men's haircut in Bend, I highly recommend Kascey at Mint.“

“Ashlee is amazing. Do your hair a favor and schedule yourself an appointment with this girl. I know the process of finding a stylist can be daunting, but if you are reading this, I can asure you she is dedicated to making your mane look beautiful.Not only is she super down to earth and easy to talk to, but she has the skills and knowledge of what to do with your hair. I personally have really thick course hair with a good amount of damage from lightening it over the years ( going to not so professionals) and I am so happy I was able to sit in ashlees chair because now im feelin like a million bucks!When I went in for a bayalage, I told her I wanted to try doing a warm honey blonde. The color turned out beautifully, but the shade just didn't match with my skin tone. I sat on it for a week to see if maybe I just needed time to adjust, but I still felt like my skin tone was clashing. I reached out to Ashlee and she got me back to the salon that week and knew exactly what to do to make my blonde match my skin tone. She really does care and wants you to be happy!
