I had a five-star experience getting my hair cut and colored with Jesse. We talked about flying cars, the best hot dogs in Kauai, and even an ancient apocalypse! When I lived in Seattle several years ago I stumbled into having an excellent barber. He had done hair for rock bands, once going on tour with the Warped Tour, and at one point I couldn't get in to see him because he was apparently on tour with Justin Bieber. All of that to say, that gave me a high bar when I left Seattle, and was trying to find somewhere to get a consistently good men's cut. When I arrived in Bend, I tried several places and was unimpressed until I got a cut from Kascey who worked at a different establishment at the time.
