We did quite a lot of research on flooring before we ran into this store, and surprisingly found they have the best prices and quality for flooring even compared with Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s and other independent stores. They also offer installation services with a very reasonable rate. The owner is very friendly and would like to share info with customers. In addition, he has the factory behind his store and customizes products as requested. Great experience going with them and would definitely recommend the store to anyone.

We gutted the original bathroom, made it larger by moving a wall, and relocated the vanity plumbing to the opposite side of the room. Marc and his team did a great job, on schedule and within budget. Working with Marc was easy, he kept us informed on the construction process and any delays, offered good options for any adjustments needed, and always did his best to accommodate any new requests I had along the way. We hired 2 Queens to remove our old deck and replace it with Interlock and stairs. You can tell the workmanship is top notch. Denis also replied back in a timely manner to all my texts and emails that I sent. Denis is a different contractor. He really cares about his clients and goes the extra mile. I scheduled an appointment for my 7 year old daughter here with Christine. My daughter has long curly hair. Christine was really friendly and made my daughter feel comfortable. She has a lot of knowledge on curly hair and knew what kind of hair shape would work best. Overall, amazing experience - highly recommend.

Quite honestly the best place, and the best people.I’ve been going here for nearly 15 years. Now, I’m fairly low-maintenance (“the usual please”), so keep that in mind. That said, the loyalty comes from consistent and wonderful results (obviously), but more importantly the amount of genuine care and accommodation they provided to my late mother (also a client) while she was sick. It was above and beyond what I would have ever expected, and for that I’m forever grateful. I know they have a large client-base of individuals dealing with hair loss (cancer treatment, etc), so I often see clients being discreetly ushered to the back for private consultations. They are quite literally the kindest people. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. As I mentioned, their consideration and care for others is equal to their abilities as hair stylists.
Jessica Logan is a wizard with scissors. I’ve always struggled with the haircut experience as my hair texture tends to be difficult to work with and I rarely leave with what I’m hoping for. This wasn’t the case when i saw Jessica today! She is an amazing listener and asks all the right questions to make sure she knows what you’re looking for. I bleach and cut my hair. I'm very happy with the products she uses for the bleach, hair is never dry or damaged as I'm very happy that she understands and knows how to cut curly hair and she will give you good advice on what to do with your hair and what would look best. She's very passionate about her job and it shows.

Roger fixed my hair from orange hues to a beautiful golden brown without further damaging my hair. He gave me my dream hair while making me laugh the whole time. Another great day at Edward K. For 2 years, Edward is the ONLY person to touch my hair. I always leave the shop with not just a cut but a transformation. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Kristen. As this was my first time tanning I had a lot of questions and concerns. She kindly and thoroughly explained the whole process to me and answered all my questions.
Afterward, she helped me find the right package for my needs and made some great recommendations for tanning lotions.
Once I got in the room I checked every inch of the tanning bed, floor, mirror and wall to ensure cleanliness and all my expectations were met. Overall, the entire salon was extremely clean. You can see how much the staff cares by how meticulously the salon was maintained.
I know I made the right choice by visiting Bel O Sol Tanning because I've been going there for over a year now and the results I got are amazing!

Smudge Beauty Bar is simply phenomenal! The staff is kind and knowledgeable and they always go above and beyond to ensure excellence in client service. The “spa-like” environment is free from any toxic fumes that we often find in nail salons. For me, this is especially important because it means I enjoy fully the experience and do not come down with a headache or migraine as a result of being exposed to these fumes. The hot wax treatment at the end of a manicure-pedicure is absolutely divine! Your hands and feet/legs come out “soft as a baby’s bottom”, as the saying goes.

I usually love this place. They definitely do a great job for nails. But it’s been frustrating when i book appointments they never fall through. I can admit i do book the day off but it’s usually a couple hours notice. Sometimes a girl has a nail emergency ! Great nails and always do a good job but would hope the organization to improve. If it’s too booked up i’d prefer a “sorry we don’t have room” compared to calling me an hour before i leave to cancel my appointment.

Today was my first day visiting Moda lash I discovered this gem on Instagram, to be completely honest i was really nervous at first due to the fact that i had awful previous experiences at other places but i took a leap of faith and I’m really happy i picked them when doing so.
Apart from that let me give you some more insight on what services i had, i got my lash extensions with Trichelle she gave me the most stunning lashes that suit my eye shape, and Emily made my teeth so pearly, i went 9 shades whiter !! The best/informative experience I’ve ever had with a Hairdresser!! Grace was super polite, gave me so much helpful advice to repair/maintain the health of my hair, and didn’t just push products/services on me that wouldn’t benefit me. She listened, asked questions, and paid close attention to my hairs health before we got to the final decision. The quality of her hair extensions are amazing and her work is art in itself. Everybody on a FB group I'm in was recommending Annamaria for a facial in the west end so I decided to contact her too. Soooo glad I went! She's amazing! She's so attentive to details, easy to talk to, skilled and knowledgeable. I was worried because I have chronic neck pain and the last time I went for a facial, it was agonizing. I told her about it before we started and she was able to come up with a solution that made me feel comfortable throughout the whole session. I went in to see Anna( my angel) for a facial today. Such a lovely experience, she gave me the oxygenating facial which so needed. She had a touch of sn angel even through extracting, I barely felt a thing. She made sure to tell me when she was applying anything or turning on the lights. Over all 100/10 experience. Honestly the best tattoo shop I’ve been to in Ottawa. The vibes are immaculate. Reception almost feels like a high end salon, the communication from the front desk folks is awesome (had to do a couple reschedules and we fixed it so quickly!).Elly made me an awesome tattoo, and everyone else was super friendly while I was there. On my day, I had Cynthia as my artist. This was my first tattoo and she was absolutely amazing at explaining everything and keeping me 'distracted'!
It's only been 1 day but I completely love the job she did and would have no reservations returning or recommending (already have when asked where I got ink!).

I cannot recommend Nicole enough. These were my first tattoos. (I had two done - small and black ink.). I brought in images, and in her drawings she made them look even better than what I was hoping for. The experience of getting the tattoos done was great. Nicole is very personable and easy to spend time with. I am so happy with the results and have received many compliments. I LOVE my tattoos and now just want more. My husband plans to have Nicole do his first tattoo. About the studio, it was immaculate and a bright, cool space.

Evelynn is the one to see if you're looking for a piercing! She has a very calming and unique effect on someone who's getting their first ever piercing as an adult. Full of clear information on the process and the aftercare, very soothing and understanding of first time jitters, and concise at her job! I got my nose pierced from her and before I went in, I had worse jitters than the time I got my tattoos done and Evelynn was just fantastic to have as my piercing artist! She gave me my emotional space while also offering ample support by saying just the right things.

Challenge: replace a broken UNDERMOUNT sink installed at time of home building 20 years ago. Required thorough skill to save the travestine ( like marble) counter top and reinstall a brand new oval sink that comes close to but not perfect size as the old one. Job done in two hours, with patience and delicate attention, and of course thorough knowledge of the plumbing elements. With reassuring interface and assuredness to worried clients. EXCELLENT SERVICE! In May 2023, I called on a Sunday after water came through a main floor light fixture. I spoke to Jamie right away who took time to answer my questions. Corey arrived on time for the scheduled appointment and was prepared with quick access to everything he needed. After diagnosing the issue, he made quick work of exploring minimally invasive options. He opened up a wall in a way that would make it easy to repair and replaced the leaking copper supply lines and valve for our acrylic shower stall. He tested the work carefully before cleaning up. Groot Electric installed a Generlink for us to allow portable generator connection to our house. Communication was excellent, Mike was fully transparent on the process and costs, zero surprises. Fully coordinated with Hydro Ottawa for the disconnect and scheduling the disconnect & installation date. John the master electrician arrived early on install day, hydro too was early so no delays at all, minimal downtown. I bought an older house, so I expected to find some surprises in the old wiring. After three electricians came over and gave me quotes without knowing for sure what I needed, I called Matt, who offered less invasive alternatives to the work the others had quoted, but also was more honest, since there was a range of potential work. He also suggested a much less expensive solution to one problem than any of the others. Once Matt started working, everything continued to be great. He was communicative, clear, didn't waste time, and was a pure pleasure to be around. He is also extremely tidy. I plan to never call another Ottawa electrician.

We did quite a lot of research on flooring before we ran into this store, and surprisingly found they have the best prices and quality for flooring even compared with Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s and other independent stores. They also offer installation services with a very reasonable rate. The owner is very friendly and would like to share info with customers. In addition, he has the factory behind his store and customizes products as requested. Great experience going with them and would definitely recommend the store to anyone.

Advantage Flooring installed our LVT plank flooring in March last year. We’ve been extremely pleased with the quality of the flooring and the workmanship. One of the planks came a bit loose at one end recently and I requested service to repair it. I had an immediate response to my repair request by the owner and within a week a service call was scheduled. Jacques came today to make the repair. He is very friendly and skilled and within no time at all had fixed the plank and made minor adjustments to two transition sections as well as a precautionary measure. The price was more than reasonable for the professionalism and customer service I received.I would not hesitate to use The Assembly Experts or recommend them to a friend.Update - I emailed Jeff on Saturday as I noticed there was a slight issue with the installation. He apologized that he couldn’t come over right away and by Monday morning he had everything fixed up. This level of service is such a rarity that I wanted to update my review. I look forward to any other opportunity to use Jeff and his team in the future.
We have been so impressed with the services and support we’ve had from Oakwood. New to renovation, we found the design centre extremely helpful - seeing different room designs and arrays of fixtures, flooring, cabinets etc all in one place allows comparison when one-off pictures do not. And importantly, ruling out what we didn’t want so we could focus on choices in the yes! category. Our project manager and designer were skilled in identifying best options and value for money choices. We really enjoyed a process that initially had made us so nervous. Helping us navigate through so many choices and avoiding mistakes that we’d have to live with was a blessing!

Found pest patrol on google. Called in and Edan received my call. He listened carefully as I explained my pest issue. He was able to point out the source of the issue, which is seasonal, and the pest will vanish in due time. Since the pests are few in number he recommended I give it time and did not charge for this information. I gave 5 starts for great customer service unbiased advice.
Last year we decided to get service from mosquito buzz and we were wonderfully surprised by their professionalism, service, and overall quality. We have extreme amount of mosquitoes on our property which is around an acre but the surrounding area is full of forests/bushes so the mosquitoes love to live there. Having been at this place for over a decade we have tried everything prior to going with mosquito buzz but this was a life changer. We have used the service first because our kids are very young and they would get over 30 bites within half an hour of being outside and they stopped going outside altogether. In addition we found that 1 of them is actually allergic to their bites. Having said that, I thought initially that the price was a little bit steep but due to the medical reasons we agreed it's necessary. This has been the best decision, as we are able to go outside at all times of the day and night. we have eaten most of our lunches a dinner's outside and have been able to tend to the garden at those times when mosquitoes were coming out to eat us all.Service is exceptional dot they send a person every cycle oh and they get in contact with us a day prior and when they arrive on the property so we can make sure to close our windows. They have been exceptionally on time and professional with our request. We know that we will be using the service and have talked to friends who went with different companies and their mosquito reduction is not even close to ours so all in all it is great. If you have mosquitoes and they are bothering you believe me this is the best Investments you can make because winters are long and our summers are so short so might as well take advantage of them.
We hired 2 Queens to remove our old deck and replace it with Interlock and stairs. You can tell the workmanship is top notch. Denis also replied back in a timely manner to all my texts and emails that I sent. Denis is a different contractor. He really cares about his clients and goes the extra mile. I would recommend 2 Queens for any interlock and back yard work.

Until recently my back parking lot was a big muddy mess. I requested several quotes and settled on Murray Landscaping. I’m sure glad I did! Amazing job. Had a tree removed that was eventually going to destroy a tractor shed and everything inside it. Croft crews made short work of it. Our Norway maple tree in our front lawn needs to be pruned. We called Colin to give us a free quote. He came to look at our tree and told us what needed to be done (what he told us aligned with what we had in mind). He gave us a reasonable quote and we decided to give Colin the job to prune our tree. We also asked Colin to prune another side tree, a smaller tree. He and his assistant came to our house on time on the date we booked. He climbed up the tree (with all the protective gears) and cut the branches. His helper removed and cleaned up the fallen branches. They finished the job in ~2 hours. A job well done! Colin is knowledgeable and professional. He is on my recommendation list.

Michael Hodgson worked with me as I prepared to do a two month hike through northern Spain. Through his excellent massages, I was able to find some key spots that needed attention and he provided support and advice that was extremely helpful. My 1500km walk was made so much easier because of his help and he gave me a massage when I returned that helped me return to normal life. I highly recommend his services. I was treated today by Dr Rodwin for neck issues caused by my pillow.
My pillow is a new CPAP pillow. After a conversation with Dr Rodwin, it was suggested I change the style of my CPAP pillow. The current style I’ve used for over 15 years.
Pressure points were applied and my neck was adjusted.
I walked out feeling like a million bucks.
I no longer have a headache or sore neck. I will follow-up with a maintenance checkup.

Drove by while her husband was working outside. He was quite inviting, so I set up a plan to call which turned into a walk-in instead, while having an errand done elsewhere. His welcoming attitude made me confident that I could walk in and when I did, the reception was enough to make me feel better already, except that the treatment just made so much more difference. Not only am I happy the timing worked out on my travel through town, but also the trouble in my neck which had an injury is quite diminished, maybe even gone. First time visit was an overall consult with Dr. John Zielonka. Very impressed with my entire consult as Dr. Zielonka explained very thoroughly every aspect of my X-rays and other relevant issues pertaining to my chronic lower back issues. Start robotic laser decompression sessions three times per week for two months. Expensive yes, but, quality of life is at your utmost goal and we deserve it! Look forward to starting my sessions with Dr. Zielonka and having some success in regaining my quality of life back!

They were able to accommodate a last-minute appointment for my pet this morning. Customer service is amazing. They treat each animal like they are a movie star upon entering and during their stay. I do not remember the Dr. name as she was new and did not have a card. Sha was loving, informative and gave me many options. The assistant was equally as professional as the doctor. Had a great and easy experience at Posh Puppies for my girl Otto's first lion cut! The employees there were friendly and easy going. The price was affordable compared to our previous groomer( $30 for just a sanitary trim vs $60 for a full groom) Otto is a shy girl so I requested no baths and they easily complied!
