I booked Gen for a prom/graduation makeup look. During the booking process, she was professional, kind and clear about her process and how much time she would need to make me look my best. Booking an early appointment meant that I could get my hair appointment and graduation ceremony with alot of time to spare and we had time to spare to communicate what I wanted adjusted. She tailored the makeup to fit my skin type and even the weather condition for the day (it was very humid), and the makeup wasnt melting off my face by the end of the day (she also provides you with a small touch up kit as well just in case).Gen made me feel completely at ease, she has a naturally very warm and friendly personality and her studio reflects it as well, so I didnt feel like I was interrupting her process when I mentionned I had a slight eye sensitivity, which she was very accomodating to and did a great job as well as I experienced little to no tearing during it. Overall, I am very happy with my decision of choosing Gen to make my graduation memories even more special. Definitely a 10/10!
I had a fantastic 60-minute lesson with Gen. Gen was absolutely lovely: courteous, professional and kind; and the session exceeded my expectations. Gen was patient with all of my questions, was very attentive to detail, and imparted a ton of technical and practical knowledge. We focused on technique and fundamentals just as I'd asked and I walked away armed with enough skill to do my own makeup for really any occasion. Gen is also skilled and flexible enough to accommodate any needs or requests. She is a true makeup nerd who is passionate about her work, and her positive vibes are infectious. I would highly recommend working with her for any makeup requirements.
Gen is so great at what she does! I booked a 1:1 makeup lesson with her for 1.5 hours. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel at ease. She was patient and made sure I was comfortable with each step as we went through the lesson. She had so many helpful tips and tricks to share. Before the lesson, she used the information I provided to plan our time together, ensuring that we were able to achieve the goals I had set. After the lesson, she provided links to all of the products that she recommended and answered all of my follow-up questions. I would gladly see her again for another lesson or to have her apply my makeup for a special event. Would recommend without hesitation!
