“We just completed a major renovation of our 1950's bungalow with Ottawa General Contractors. The renovation included an addition for a new kitchen, as well as extensive structural changes to the existing building (removal of load-bearing walls, replacement/reconfiguration of the staircase to the basement, new wiring, plumbing and HVAC). We were very happy with the process from start to finish, and with the end result. All of the staff at OGC were easy to work with, giving us a seamless experience from project design to project management to completion of a warrantied high quality renovation to our home.

We really liked this company's model, with a project manager as the major point of contact for every detail and question about the renovation as it progressed. Murad (our project manager) did an excellent job keeping us informed of details through direct communication (phone, text) as well as through information (including photos, work schedules) regularly posted on our client project portal. He managed/coordinated the multiple trades people coming through, and solved any/every challenge that came up quickly and efficiently.

The trades people who worked on the house delivered high quality construction and finishes. They were friendly, polite and very respectful of our home, as well as being skilled in their individual trades.

The project was completed ahead of the original schedule, and is everything we'd hoped for and more. We feel like we have a new house without having to move away from the neighbourhood we love. We would highly recommend the work of Ottawa General Contractors to anyone considering a home renovation in the Ottawa area.“

After doing my due diligence I found he had installed solar systems on various other of my brother firefighters houses with all of them saying he was a stand up guy.
Mike quoted me an absolute fair price, aided me in the Greener home energy loan.
He installed the system on time with his quirky but super meticulous electrician and two of the hardest working installer I've seen in a long time in the trades.
