I am not 100%. I don't know if I ever will be; but his Honesty especially being able to understand and see things from my end was life changing. The Information was to the point.
His Adjustments which I assume only comes from being aware of his patients needs in order to heal.
Because of this man, I have turned the dial.
I owe him and my therapist!

Ashleigh saved the day for my wedding! Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to find someone to do hair stylings for my wedding day with 3 days notice. Ashleigh not only did a hair trial for me, but she was able to secure some support to assist me and my bridal party for the wedding day 2 days later. Ashleigh and Meredith were absolute rockstars - everyone was SO happy with their hair stylings including me. I have been going to this hair salon for over three years. My hairs stylist is Alison. She is absolutely wonderful. I have never had an issue with appointments, never cancels and I never have to wait for her to finish with a different client. She is punctual. She is talented. She has an eye for color and cut. I have an insane amount of hair and it's not easy to cut it since it's not curly nor straight. I have a funky wave to it. Grows very fast. I have been going to Allison every 4 weeks. Her pricing is par with her work, and I love how honest she has been with the pricing but also with what my hair needs.

I was recommended to go to Maggie by my sister and of course my sister did not steer me wrong. I have had natural hair for 5 years which I have taken care of on my own. I was looking for a stylish up do for me wedding. Maggie did an incredible job on my hair with a great wash, conditioning my hair which also included a steam treatment. She then gave me a silk press(which I had never had before) and then curled my hair. She worked with hair to decide on a style I would like for my wedding. My hair felt like silk! I was very impressed with her hair expertise. I am way beyond satisfied and I know my hair will look fabulous for my wedding.

Made an appointment with Mr Imari for my husband and 4 year old son. Right away, the vibe is welcoming, with a nod to classic barbershops, and everything is immaculate. Their appointments started right on time, their cuts are the.best.ever and less expensive than the other old school barber shops we’ve tried downtown. Massive appreciation shout out because Mr Imari could not have been more gentle or patient with our son, or the out of town grandparents who were having the time of their lives, or the teenage sister who had comments to share about how her brother’s hair should be cut. Come here, enjoy the love and attention to detail, support a local business, you won’t regret it.

I go here for all my services. I usually just do a simple gel manicure if I go and they always do a great job. Good pricing and great staff. Just make sure to call in before walking in. They can usually fit me in if I call, but I have seen them turn away people who walk in when they are busy and already have many appts set. Small staff so they can get full pretty fast.

I followed Ferial from another salon and she is the only lady I go to! I can be very particular and always want to try different designs. Ferial's work is impeccable, I can honestly say that in the 7 months of liquid gel fills I have had done by her I HAVE ONLY BROKEN ONE NAIL (and I work with my hands). Not sure where to start. I haven't visited a hair salon in over 15+years, because I normally do my own thing with my hair, not having much confidence in anyone. However, I needed my hair cut and style, so I started surfing the internet, and came across Black Pearl. The reviews did it for me, so I decided to give Ms Tina a shot at it. I went there with a very open mind, hoping for the best, but at the same time expecting anything. Let me tell you, Ms Tina was amazing in every sense of the word. She was very warm and inviting, very knowledgeable in her field. She works magic with her hands. To say the least I was very impressed the way she handled her skill. What an awesome hair stylist with a great personality. To crown it off she did a lot of teaching, educating me on my hair type and the products that would work best. I received so many compliments on my hair cut from family members, friends and strangers alike. I am so excited, experimenting with different styles and just loving it all the way. It was a black-owned business, run by a wonderful woman and should've been preserved since Durham prides itself on being progressive. Unfortunately, this is another shameful example of rampant gentrification that is becoming this city's modus operandi.

Even though this was my first tattoo, I have been into multiple tattoo shops (for piercings, which they do not do, which is perfectly fine), and this was the BEST environment I have ever been in. I usually find tattoo shops can be abrasive and kind of scary (I am a newbie so this is probably just me), but Kings Ave was the opposite. Knowing it was my first, they offered me coffee, water, and multiple breaks. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Logan, my artist, did a CLEAN job. I have gotten SO many compliments on my tattoo from random people and friends, and I have only had it for three days. There were other artists there also, and they were great too. For high quality tattoos, I highly recommend Brian Parrillo of Ethereal Tattoo. His artwork is phenomenal and his attention to detail is stellar. He completed a portrait of my soul dog on my arm that is absolutely stunning. Brian is professional, kind, and incredibly passionate about his work. The shop is very clean, beautiful, and tranquil.
Tattoo Asylum is a great shop in an easy to access location. Their communication is clear and prompt. The shop is extremely clean and has a calming vibe. All of the employees are very friendly and accommodating! I felt very at ease. Mike and Cheree go the extra mile to make sure you love your tattoo. My tattoo was very sentimental and it was important to me that it turned out just right! They were very understanding and went above and beyond to make sure that my experience working with them was positive. I was given ample opportunity to ask questions and was given detailed responses. They made sure that it was a smooth process from inquiry, to planning, to scheduling, to completion and finally, aftercare! They were fairly priced and I felt completely at ease with the professionalism and care I received!

Mavis & Lucas at the front desk are super awesome and informative. There’s a good vibe there, like everyone seems to work well together and support one another. Shop was clean and neat, and there’s ton of amazing art and knick-knack decor to keep you occupied while getting tattooed. I’ll most likely be returning!

I been going for years now to get my tattoos from Osama, man skills definitely unmatched, I've got all my tattoos done by him, I never had any complaints with anything I've gotten, always good vibes, and takes care of everyone that come through, I think its a great place to go fr I definitely recommend him man you won't be disappointed.
This review is specifically for Alessandra, who did wedding band tattoos for me and my fiance, semi-matching tattoos for us, and my fiance's latest tattoo. She's incredible. I have a previous tattoo from someone else, and Alessandra made me feel more comfortable and confident than I knew was possible based on my prior experience. I knew the text I wanted, but she found the perfect font for the look I had in mind and truly embraced the vision of my wedding band. She's also just a kind, funny, welcoming person and a true pleasure to spend time with. While both of my tattoos were on bony locations and so not the most comfortable to have done, the time was enjoyable because we got to chat with her through it. We'll return to her again and again.
We did a lot of research before getting these tattoos because we knew we wanted fine lines and that not every tattoo artist does them. Alessandra came as a recommendation from a close friend, and I'm so glad we asked because it worked out perfectly.
The studio itself was wonderful to be in because it was airy and sunny and spotless. Overall, a great experience from start to finish at a studio and with an artist we recommend to anyone we know who's looking to get a new tattoo done.
Get Sam to do your next piercing! So nice, thorough, and helpful with everything--from picking out jewelry to the actual piercing process itself. The place is super inviting and comfortable, and I'll be going back for sure.

Easy annual Backflow inspection. I sent in my information via email and work was completed the same week. Could even pay on line. Great service
Called panicking because sewage was backing up into my house and Bar D was able to dispatch help super fast (some other companies gave me quotes of 4-5 days. Gross.)! Dalton was so helpful and answered all 400 of my questions, and he even directed me to the city for the next steps.
These are THE nicest people! And they were fast, efficient and very reasonably priced. They got to me as quickly as they could (my water didnt work at all!) and much quicker than any of the other local services I contacted. Their team showed up and kept me informed of everything they were finding and what they were doing. Highly recommend. Everyone from the folks in the office to the techs in the field provided the most pleasant and the best experience for a plumbing emergency.
