I no longer live in Durham so don't get cuts in my hometown very often these days. BUT, when I do, Akila delivers with a great cut, good barbershop conversation and good spirits. I appreciate people that genuinely care about their craft and want the people they serve to have positive experiences. Whether talking about making good music or appreciating good music, entrepreneurship or simply keeping our spirits up, you walk away from his chair in a better headspace than you had when you entered the shop.
