“Upright Athlete worked with me from weeks after my injury, working on getting swelling down and just starting to put pressure on it, to getting back to running and marathon training. Kaitlyn is the best! I really feel like she uses all of the techniques and technologies at her disposal to manage pain and swelling and improve mobility! I have really appreciated the one on one care and attention they are able to give, that’s super rare for PT and it’s the reason I’ve gotten back to functionality! Can’t recommend them enough, especially for athletes!”

“As soon as I walked into Fuzion My body was at peace. The ambience, as soon as you walk in is very calming and was the start of an amazing self-care day! Michelle was my massage therapist, and she really cared about every single thing that I told her, and where I was feeling pain, and even though it’s a chronic issue with my neck pain, I was able to walk out after my massage feeling loads better! Thank you so much, Michelle and Fuzion!”

“Michael was great! I went in with some ongoing neck tightness and left feeling noticeably better.

If you’ve never had floor Thai massage before, it’s definitely different from a traditional massage. You stay fully clothed and the session is done on a mat on the floor, with a mix of pressure, assisted stretching, movement, and positioning. It’s much more active than a typical spa massage and feels almost like a combination of massage and assisted mobility/stretching. I compared it to yoga but with someone else doing the work for my friends, lol.

Michael has been doing this for decades, and you can tell. He was very knowledgeable, paid attention to where I was holding tension, and really helped give me relief in my neck and upper body. I loved it so much I made a follow up appt that day.

I’d definitely recommend Michael and Healing Strength, especially if you’re dealing with tightness or want something more therapeutic than a traditional spa massage.”

“Julio was an absolutely amazing massage therapist! He worked with my chaotic schedule and was very understanding of me and my partner during a vulnerable time during our fertility and wellbeing journal.

With the massage: it was an emphasis of relaxation and taking care of the body plus focusing on calming those muscles. He has a very intuitive way of knowing what is bothering you without you even having to tell him. He has medium-firm pressure and really prioritizes making sure you feel safe, heard, and relaxed.

The massage itself was EXCELLENT. Even as I am someone who loves firm to very firm pressure and have done a lot of body work, massage therapy, etc. I truly enjoyed how relaxing it was.

Julio is a wonderful massage therapist and I would highly recommend!”

“We used CBW throughout multiple parts of our journey to, and through, parenthood. From classes, birth and postpartum doulas, and even lactation.

Maris and Ashton were our birth doulas, and they were critical advocates for me during my labor.

We also took a few classes... We took a newborn class that was taught by Maris that day, which was really helpful for some of the basics of bringing baby home. And we took the 6 week EBB birth classes, which was great for preparing us for labor. There were a few things I felt a little under prepared for, or EBB misses, but I discussed that with Maris and hopefully they have incorporated the feedback into new groups.

For our postpartum support, we had Samantha as our postpartum doula and she was INCREDIBLE. I felt so comfortable handing our baby off each night, and Samantha was irreplaceable for the support she provided to me as a new mother. She gave us advice on parenting books, figuring out our little one's sleep, and was a delightful person for me to talk to about all the things going on in our newborn haze. While we had her predominately for help at night, she also provided us day time support which allowed me to get to some Dr's appointments after my husband returned to work early.

Lastly, we worked with Celia for lactation. She gave me some of the tools/advice that allowed me to provide milk to my baby for her first year. Something I particularly appreciate about her is that she referred me to another IBCLC that was specialized with a specific issue I had once we reached a point beyond her knowledge. Not everyone has the self awareness or willingness to do that.”

“John has been tremendously helpful in keeping me healthy as a distance runner over the last year. I’ve struggled post-collegiately to train at a moderate level without getting injured, but over the last year of working with John, I’ve been able to build up my mileage and intensity while staying healthy and feeling the strongest I’ve felt in years. John is great at finding the underlying cause of the issue and treating it via both manual techniques and other physical therapy exercises. I’d recommend John for runners and humans alike, whether you have a specific issue or just want to feel good and stay healthy!
-Cassidy (McPherson) Heer”

“I had an absolutely amazing experience with my massage therapist, Kim at Sozo Body Therapy! From the moment the session started, it was clear that she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. She took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and really focused on the areas that needed the most attention.

What stood out the most was her attention to detail and how intuitive she was throughout the entire session. She didn’t just go through the motions—she adjusted techniques based on what my body needed, which made a huge difference.

I also truly appreciated the thoughtful recommendations she provided for things I can do between now and my next appointment. That level of care and follow-up shows a real commitment to her clients’ well-being, not just during the session but beyond it.

I left feeling refreshed, relieved, and much more informed about how to maintain the progress we made. I can’t recommend her enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!”

“Nichole has been my go-to massage therapist for over a decade. She's warm, friendly, and professional. Her practice space is cozy and relaxing, and she creates a comfortable, welcoming environment.

Nichole is trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming, making her an excellent choice for anyone interested in massage but feeling a bit apprehensive about the process. “Up until a week ago, I had only experienced pedicures and gel manicures with Joy at Nailz + Beauty. I finally took a chance and started a skincare journey to treat hyperpigmentation and I'm looking forward to seeing the results in a few months with some discipline and consistency following Joy's plan. After my first facial, my skin felt better than I can honestly ever remember. And the experience was MORE THAN A FACIAL. I felt taken care of and seriously pampered so much so that I forgot where I was for awhile. Don't sleep on the skin services at this spot!”
