However, from the moment I walked into the studio, the staff made me feel welcome and at ease.My trainer, Wyatt, was incredibly knowledgeable and understanding of my unique needs and concerns. He worked with me to develop a customized workout plan that focused on weightlifting and building muscle, which is something I had enjoyed in the past. Throughout the sessions, they provided constant support and encouragement, pushing me to do my best while also being mindful of my limits.I am happy to say that I have seen real results since working out here. “Ryan is a fantastic personal trainer! I'd highly recommend him for anyone new to weightlifting as well as anyone with specific goals! For context, I came to Ryan after two failed attempts of working with other personal trainers in Durham. I had prior experience with weightlifting but struggled to feel confident in lifting heavy on my own. In less than a year, Ryan has helped me go from squatting 15 reps at 105lb to 185lb. He's also helped me increase my strength endurance immensely! I can now sustain lifting heavy through circuit training. I've been able to make all of this progress injury-free, which is really important to me.So far, I've shared how Ryan has helped me to achieve my goals, all of which are signs of a good personal trainer. But what makes Ryan stellar is his personhood! Ryan is a very thoughtful, supportive, funny and focused personal trainer. As someone who wants to excel in multiple areas, he's helped to keep me focused on developing my leg strength. He's also been very intentional about including exercises that support increased mobility + strength for activities tied to running and swimming (both of which I do). Ryan is also very personable and supportive and takes the time to get to know you. He understands that when we show up for a session, we're bringing our whole selves, which may include stress from work or our personal lives. And he takes all of that into account when supporting you in a training session and makes adjustments based on your mental, emotional, and physical capacity that day. Ryan is the best!If you're still on the fence, just do it! This program is designed to achieve maximum results with a minimum of time and is achievable even for those of us who are really out of shape. The personal trainers are wonderful and really care about their clients and the owner genuinely believes in his product and it's efficacy. “I had a private EDC session with Stewart E. a few weeks back. It’s the class I wish I had invested in long ago because I received such detailed/personalized advice and technique. This one-on-one session made a world of difference to me, giving me better insight on how I can personally improve when carrying and shooting a pistol.Stewart didn’t undermine, criticize or patronize — something that tends to happen when you have an impatient or unskilled teacher. I think Stewart’s calmness, insight and ability to clearly explain speaks volumes regarding his natural skills as a teacher.This man is awesome!This is now my second class with TSD. I hope to attend more.“

“I have nothing but good things to say about Ikaika. Einar is an excellent trainer. He cares about his clients and their well being. He is very professional and doesn't seem to loose his patience, calm and assertive but never angry. When I get to the point where I wanna give up he pushes me a bit further, helping me reach my goals. Listen to him and fallow his guide lines and you are bound to succeed. It's a great gym, clean and organized. The other clients are excellent as well, just a great group of people with the same goals, to better themselves. Can't go wrong with Ikaika. If you are serious about getting in shape call Einar, he will get you on the right track.“

“Cierra is an awesome trainer. She strikes a nice balance in designing workouts that are attainable but challenging. Over time, she adjusts the workouts at a good pace so that you’re continually improving and attacking things from different angles. She also does a great job of taking into account any difficulties you’re having. Working with Cierra has been a pleasure, and has made a huge difference for me.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Stewart! Doctors had previously told me there was nothing they could do and even started questioning if "I really was in that much pain." A friend referred me to Wholistic Health Studio and I'm so glad they did. Stewart really listens and works to find a solution to your problem. He will always be honest if he can or can't help, he helps you get a better understanding of your issue, and he gives you things you can do to help improve your situation (i.e. exercises or stretching). He has significantly helped me and improved my quality of life. Sabrina works in the office and is very responsive to appointments and changes. She's always willing to help you with scheduling and billing questions. I high recommend Wholistic Health Studio!“

All the instructors are skilled, professional, and fun. I have several gyms closer to my house but this one is absolutely worth the 15 minute drive.“
